FA Bergamot (oil)
submitted over 8 years ago by Healthdirt

I received a package directly from Flavour Art today, including MTS. One of the little bottles was unlike the others in having a clear exclamation mark sticker posted over the ingredients last, Bergamot. I noticed that the liquid is cloudy in appearance and that the ingredients include bergamot oil. Is this FAs way of advising caution if vaping this flavour? Do you think it is reasonably safe to vape? Thanks.

I can't find anything of concern with regards to this flavor, nor what the sticker is for. I wouldn't worry about it.

Actual bergamot oil is what's used in stuff like earl gray tea. I'm assuming the "oil" in the description is just to let you know what it tastes like, not that it actually contains oil

I never paid too much attention to FA stickers because I'm assuming they're putting a lot of efforts in safety due to their "clearstream" protocol.

However I check my bottles and find out that Bergamot and Cola have different stickers than the other bottles. The sticker, like you say, has a big exclamation mark as you can see here http://imgur.com/a/wbBdn

Compared to the other FA bottles the stickers has a warning regarding the risk of skin allergic reaction and harmfulness for aquatic organisms.

I only recently bought bergamot so I still haven't vaped or mixed it, but I used FA cola at 4% some months ago without any issue.

Those small fuckers of a bottle are evil incarnate, had one that was hard to open so I figured I'd twist the top of cue me sitting on the floor with a 1 cm gash in my thumb bleeding all over me since the bottle had small sharp plastic prongs (no idea what to call them) that sliced a chunk of flesh from me and I spilled the bottle as well.....

Dear healthdirt, while I enjoy Bergamot tea, I should inquire from the suppliers regarding your bottle of Bergamot. Best to be safe. Let us know yes? Would very like to try it.

Dear jiffythekid, I've had a friend translate to American English my comment...

I like Bergamot tea, but be careful with that shit man. It could harm you.

I think it is a warning, like someone else mentioned, FA is very health focused. But my bottle (repackaged from ECX) has no warning and I've vaped it plenty of times. I think this is comparable to warnings about acetoin.
