3 drops of Capella Choc Fudge Brownie into your morning coffee makes for the nicest Mocha.
2 drops of TFA French Vanilla Creme into your Pepsi gives the nicest pepsi-icecream flavor. Or add two drops of TFA Black Cherry and youve got Cherry Cola. (Still working on making it closer to Dr Pepper).
I add different flavors to my porridge each morning. This morning I tried FlavorArt Apple Pie.
I love making chocolates - I have about 60 chocolate molds. Concentrates work well with these (but not too much as they are PG based, which will seize the chocolate). But you can let loose if you're making flavored fondet filled truffles. Use TFA Peppermint for a mint Aero Bar flavor, Use FlavorArt Peppermint for a more Peppermint Pattie flavor).
I've decided to keep all my vape stuff in the kitchen now. It feels more right home, as I love to cook, and get the same emotional vibe from mxing my own ejuices as when when I try out new meal preps.
My flavor trays (I have about 70 flavors), are now officially shared between my vape and cook gear.
Edit: Spelling and Peppermint additions.
I thought of making a sub for this, but im lazy, I like to add crush ice, sugar and flavors, homemade slushie
I have a kegerator next to my flavor stash that I've been using to make sparkling water, I've been flavoring my own fizzy water for a while now
I was just thinking about this! any tips?
It's definitely a great way to learn your flavors better and experiment with pairings.
Its really easy to burst carb the water by shaking the keg at 45 PSI (I put the gas line on the liquid port too so that it bubbles to increase surface exposure). After 10 mins of shaking it's pretty good but it gets better after sitting overnight at 15PSI which is my serving pressure.
I have found water is much more prone to freezing than beer is, so once the keg gets low I've had to try 'bursting' ice out of the liquid line using 45 PSI again.
I use about 6 drops of most liquids in a 16 ounce cup of water, but you obviously can do as much as you like.
I used holy vanilla in a cake icing the other day. Was scrumptious
Yes!, cake icing is the best to flavor.
I tried TFA's caramel Original the other day on my moist vanilla cake. Perfect addition.
Flavored vodka is now even more irrelevant in my house.
I make keto friendly sugarfree whipped cream for my sweet tooth. Sometimes fruit flavors, sometimes savory. I've even done a tobacco/peanut butter/caramel one. Wife wasn't impressed, I loved it.
Sample receipe
Using whipped cream dispenser:
- 2 drops FLV Rich Cinnamon (this is balanced, add another for whammo cinnamon)
- 1 tsb vanilla extract (haven't tried drops for vanilla, I have plenty of extract)
- 2 packets of stevia
- 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream
Great on peaches for my wife, great straight in the whipped cream hole for me.
Yo. I have used my flavorings for coffee a few times. But more often, I have used them to flavor liquor.
As I read the title, I thought immediately of decarbing and eating my concentrates. Alas, awesome idea. I truly had never considered using my flavorings for anything other than vaping. I love to cook. My wife loves to bake. We shall get to experimenting tonight. No "butt stuff" she says, though. :(
Any ideas about what to add to my 8 year olds antibiotics to make it taste better? It is supposed to be bubblegum flavor already but he was so shocked at the taste that he almost spit it out. We have eight days left. I have a couple of sweeteners but I'm afraid of screwing it up and making it taste worse. And since a drop goes a long way, I don't know how to experiment. Its like a one shot deal.
I actually use them for the intended purpose: candy making. Also, if you add super sweet or EM to your juice instead of nic, it works quite well for water flavor drops.
Their actual intention is any food/drink flavoring. My buddy works in the food industry, specifically in flavorings, and always used to bring samples home to see if I could guess what they were. Sadly his samples were about 10 times the size of the small bottles we pay money for...
TFA Bavarian Cream in pancake mix = donut flavored pancakes.
Am I the only one around here that gets excited every time this question pops up?
Please indulge me while I roll out my dairy-free French Toast recipe for the bah-zillionth time! :-D
I have a recipe for a dairy-free/egg-free French Toast that went from good to outstanding with the addition of some CAP Vanilla Custard. This should do about 4-8 slices.
1 Heaping TBSP of Corn Starch
3/4 Cup Non-Dairy Milk (almond, coconut, soy, whatevs.)
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon (or one drop FLV Rich Cinnamon!)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Nutmeg
3-4 Drops Capella Vanilla Custard flavoring
Preheat a nonstick frying pan on medium heat.
Whisk all ingredients together in a shallow bowl wide enough to dip a slice of bread in.
Spray a little canola oil on the pan.
Quickly dip slices of bread into the "batter". Dip both sides, but don't soak them.
Arrange slices in your preheated pan (don't crowd them) and cook each side for about 3 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
Serve with REAL maple syrup, because, even though your French Toast is fake, that doesn't mean you have to live like a goddamn animal.
Good idea with the pepsi Ill try it. I use anise in my white bread dough, hazelnut in hot chocolates and banana ripe in pancake batter.
Watch with especially fizzy drinks for overflow. I added some strawberry to a carbonated water and it fizzled over like 1/4 of the water and made a nice little mess before I could cap it haha.
How much flavoring do you add to the water?
I was thinking about doing that with my water bottles - grab some FA Lemon Sicily or Lime, etc.. but don't know how much to add for a 16 oz bottle
I drop 1-3 drops of TFA peach (juicy) in mt.dew regularly.
1-3 drops in a bottle or can?
Aren't concentrates like supposed to not be ingested?
