Setup: Goon 24 with 10-wrap SS316l 22ga dual coil and cellucotton wicks.
Testing: Inawera Shisha Lemon @ 1% 70/30 6mg
Flavor Description: This is almost a candy lemon, it has the sour aspect of a lemonhead, but it's more creamy or crystally or something. It reminds me of either a lemon sherbet or a creamy lemon slushy. Definitely a syrupy type flavor though, not a natural lemon. Much better imo than Inw lemon, much less strong. I wouldn't use inawera lemon over .5%, but shisha lemon would probably be best at 1.5-2%. A lot of lemon flavors make me short of breath, but this one doesn't. I think this would probably work in bakeries, but the creamy aspect of it limits it's usefulness in straight lemon or lemonade flavors. It's definitely not a lemonade.
Off-flavors: None really, unless you count the creaminess or syrupiness as off. I know it's hard to imagine something being both creamy and syrupy, but imo it is. you have the creamy, icy crystallization of lemon sherbet in hear, and that imo limits the usefulness of this flavor, so i suppose it's "off."
Throat hit: none that i could notice, but i'm not sensitive to throat hit.
Uses and pairings: I could see this being pretty ok as the main or secondary lemon note in a lemon meringue pie. It could definitely be paired with berries, and maybe at low percentages (.1-.25) as a complement to blueberry to add the tart note. i could see this being good as a beverage, starter place to a lemon cream soda or boozy beverage. I think this would also be good in tropical mixes.

I really like the syrup flavoring this gives off. I've had good success beefing up lemonade mixes and adding to candy profiles. Below is my favorite mix so far with this:
