... and at what %age?
Mine is CAP Sweet Mango at 7%.
FLV Mango, 3%.
I haven't tried any Flavorah concentrates yet. As a relatively new DIYer I went straight for the more seemingly familiar TPA/CAP/FA concentrates. I just made an order with a few INW favors which I'm excited to mix with. FLV will be in my next order for sure! What are your top 5 FLV concentrates?
Mango, Cream (but not as a standalone), Pink Guava (must like grapefruit), Rich Cinnamon (again not a standalone flavor), and Wild Melon.
TFA RY4 Double
As I/ID10-T suggested, you need FLV Mango is you think CAP Sweet Mango is tasty. The two combined make a pretty yummy thing too.
how would you describe RY4 Double? So many mixed reviews on it. Also, at what %age?
It is much like a brown sugary caramel flavor with a very, very light and inoffensive earthiness from tobacco. YI don't really think the reviews are mixed on it, it must be one of the most popular single flavors ;-) There's 21,202 recipes using it on ELR. For $1.50, you really can't go wrong with trying it.
lolwtf describes it pretty much exactly how I taste it too. I run it at 8% as my constant ADV. It's my "It doesn't matter how bad I F up my mixing, I've still got something I like" flavor. I've been playing with it lately adding single things to it to see what happens. TFA Black honey tobacco was the latest. Made it quite interesting.
If you like this you need to try JF ry4 double at 3%
DIYFS holy holy grail ry4 is pretty good too
INW Cactus, 3%. Just gone through 1000ml without another flavor.
Wow you might be even more of a Cactus head than /u/philosaphucker
They are out there--the silent Cactus worshipers. I, myself, prefer annoying evangelism:
>"Yo check out what I stuck my cactus in this time!"
INW Cactus is on it's way to my house from https://www.diy-ejuice.com/ as we type! Will give this a shot, thanks.
DIYFS Holy Vanilla 3%
Still needing to try this and I'm really pumped for it to finally arrive.
I have been supplying a family member with this for prob a year now. He thinks I'm keeping the recipe a secret, won't believe that it's one flavor lol.
CAP Harvest Berry. I have used it from 5-15% and it's always awesome. I would guess you could go lower, the lower the percent, the more depth to the flavor, but I have come to really like a 10% fruit punch to the face.
my wife says she is sick of smelling it, but its my ADV for a few years now.
wow, few years with the same juice in rotation... I can barely vape the same for a week, a month or two later i'm totally sick of it and have to find new recipes!
Yeah, i have had this conversation before and apparently I am the exception to the rule?... when I started vaping, I had to have like 10 flavors in rotation at all times. When I started DIY I told myself "no more buying any store juice" that was 2.5 years ago, and I only vape what I make now... I have 4 or 5 things that I do make, and they are tasty, but this one is just so easy to make and even after 2 years I have not lost 100% of the taste of it to vapor tongue or olfactory fatigue, so I just keep going with it. I realize its not the norm, but hey, its working for me, and I dont have to keep hundreds of flavors in my cache or spend hours and hours working on recipes.
This is most likely a consequence of too many other hobbies, or not really wanting vaping to be another hobby. It is a way to keep me from smoking at this point, nothing more... so while I had a LOT of fun tinkering with flavors in the beginning (think bubblegum and root beer from scratch with no "bubblegum" or "root beer" flavors, instead compounding the constituent flavors ) , I found one that totally pushed my buttons and just stopped there, no need to continue searching for the holy grail...
Well, i can relate with him. I tried a lot of things and saved like 3 or 4 recipes in the past 4 years. But there's one (kinda) that never left me: i started with tribeca, tested a few clones and found the right one. ADV all the way since my first vape.
Also: name checks out !
FA Torrone, 3%. Plenty of depth to keep you wanting more.
I wish I could like this stuff.
It tastes like straight pine cones to me. Even one drop in a mix and it's all I can taste. Really odd. I've always wondered if I just got a bad batch of it.
Also went through a phase when I first started mixing that I vaped almost exclusively 3% INW vanilla for pipe standalone or with 1% INW Tobacco Absolute Garuda.
That sounds good ima make something similar with Shisha vanilla in place.
Right now it's FLV pound cake at 2% even though I'm not sure what it actually is
i think pound cake is equivalent to yellow cake?
It doesn't even taste like cake idk it's just like a wet sweetness. Maybe it's just me. I've been trying to make a cake out of it but hasn't worked so easily. it reminds me of lightning vapes bread pudding flavor which has mucho sweetener. Really strange how they made the pound cake so sweet I just want to know what is in it.
CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl at 4-5%
When I first started DIY, my favorite store bought juice was Cuttwood Sugar Bear or whatever the old name was....this flavor was the first I ever mixed around with, first standalone, then morphed into my first successful recipe people wanted to buy, a cinnamon cookie dough.
cap cereal 27. 4-6%
haven't tried that concentrate yet, I really enjoy cereals, currently vaping on some berry crunch cereal (@12% with 1% Milk, sounds insanely high but trust me after a little steep the berries come out and it taste great)
tastes like honey covered grain cereal to me. Like kix or a weak honey comb.
Here's a pretty good recipe, I think. It is my recipe though so there's probably some bias.

takes about 3-6 days to calm down and has a bit of a throat hit but it tastes exactly like Kix cereal to me.
I've used it with some success in creating a honey caramel cream.
https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/45973#honey_caramel_cream_by_lulzor
It tastes/smells sour at first but after about a week it turns into this absolutely perfect honey coated caramel.
i fucking love cereal milks, thanks for linking your kix milk. i have cap's sweet cream en route to me now, otherwise i have everything else. have you made this without the sweet cream at any point, or do you have any suggestions on subs? i feel impatient and would like to mix this tonight. did i mention i love cereal milks? i have fw's sweet cream but i know that won't sub worth a damn and is universally shunned. i have a lot of other creams too- flv's cream, cap's vanilla whipped cream, jf and fw bavarian cream.
OSDIY blue raspberry slush - crank that percentage up and vape some delicious kwik-e-mart style blue raspberry.
honorable mention: hs apple mix. yummy spiced apple cider.
TPA cola syrup at 5% is a very decent cola gummy. I usually add a bit of vanilla swirl for extra flavour and some body.
You should check out LB Cola Freeze
Will do if I can get my hands on it. I am in Europe so hopefully chefsflavours stock it. What percentage would you recommend for solo and if there are any good pairings with it please share those as well.
Quit rubbing it in and do a proper flavor review or if you think it fits in the slushy category (the freeze part makes it sound like it might?), at least quick note in the FOTW thread.
TFA Orange Cream
Orange cream over 3% give me weird "electric, rusty" taste. Is it just me?
Cap Sweet Tangerine 15%. Sublime. Found it on an old vaping forum from 2013.
Tpa - energy drink
I'm loving TPA Blackberry at around 7%
I usually add a bit of Ethyl Maltol too (about 1%) as I have a sweet tooth.
What setup are you using? I use blackberry at 0.75-1% in recipes. Vape around 80-100w. 7% would definately kill me
yeah, I tone it way down in mixes but I like it strong as a single flavour.
Running on dual fused claptons at the moment in the Ammit Dual. quad core 28g with a 30g wrap all SS316L, 0.12 ohms running around 85-90w
I use capella peanut butter, capella sweet orange and capella honeydew melon. These are my faveourite standalone flavours. I like capella vanilla custurd as well but it gunks up the coils too rapidly so i have discontinued vanilla custard from my rotation.
My setup is kylin m pro mesh tank. Creates a ton of vapor. I use 100% vg liquid. In a 120 ml bottle, i will put 12 ml of cap peanut butter or cap sweet orange or cap honeydew - that is only 10%, you can put 16ml or even 20ml if you want more flavor. Add in .75 ml of ws32 cooling agent snd .5 ml of super sweet. Easy peasy recipe and great flavour. Stopped buying any other flavours. These three are good to rotate through. Inexpensive, easy to mix, tons of flavour, and coils last for ever.
Cap honedew is my fave out of the three.
