I've been ordering my flavors from a company, and buying TFA, and capella flavors mostly. Recently,I found a different company that sold the same flavors for much cheaper, and with quicker shipping times. I still bought the exact same Tfa and Capella flavors, just from a different company.
When I ordered from the first company, the smell of the flavors was much more identical to the flavor it's supposed to be. With the new company however, the flavors have more of a chemical smell that reminds me of juice that hasn't steeped. My question is, do the new flavors have that smell because they do actually need to steep with the pg more, or did the company not prepare the flavoring properly?
Have you made testers to compare? Or use the new flavorings in on of your recipes that calls for them and compare that way

The first was infinite vapor, the second was wizard labs.
I get most of my flavorings from Wizard labs and I buy all of my nicotine from nude nicotine.
They don't prepare the concentrates, they buy in big ass bulk sizes and split it up into bottles... That being said, it's possible their big ass sizes may not have had the concentrate agitated enough for it to have dispersed evenly and you have a super concentrate. Or you just didn't shake your own bottles, which you should do like a madman every time you use.
Oh okay. I always shake them some before mixing, but I suppose I'll start doing it a lot more... If my flavors are concentrated higher, is this going to have a large effect on my recipes? Will I have to adjust the recipes if I stick with wizard labs?
Definitely. If the concentration is double, then you will only have to use half as much. Keep this in mind when/if adding additional unflavored PG as less will come from the flavoring. Unfortunately the only way to tell if they are more concentrated is via trial and error.
It's also possible that the first ones were diluted or just older before being shipped to you and the wizard labs flavors are correct. If you buy the same flavors from a third company and they match the first or second purchase, there is a chance those are the proper ones.
Depends of they actually are more concentrated. They may just be fresher... If you still have a little of both, mix 10mls of the same percentage of both and try them out, of you get the same taste after a couple days steep you should be fine. If the WL one tastes harsher just go down .5% or so and test again until you get it to match in taste and that's your baseline adjustment.
