McCormick's is alcohol based but there are alot of good PG based ones too. It was never mentioned by name though, just a picture when I was talking about pure extracts.

I am not aware of a Vanilla Custard (FA)... are you sure that's what you meant in this video? Around the 1:40 mark

He's referring to FA Custard I think, main notes are vanilla and lemon.

Ya I was referring to that, they call it custard, or custard cream, or crema pasticcera. Its a really good custard approach.

Vanilla shares a lot of flavor/aroma compounds with many other flavors. More of the same flavor/aroma compounds or molecules makes for a better tasting blend.

vanilla simply balances everything out.

I tried making clones of my favorite fruit flavored e-juices (flavors you would never think had vanilla it it like watermelon strawberry and blackcurrant), for more than 2 years but couldn't figure out why my ejuices were'nt hitting the spot like the originals.

Then it was revealed on a forum that they used small percentages of ethyl-vanillin as a background note, and it all became clear.

Hey /u/DIY-Eliquid, your videos are interesting but... It would definitely help the community more if you posted transcripts too instead of just a link to the video. It kind of looks to me like you're mostly here to promote your YouTube, not to be a part of this Reddit community. I don't want to sit through a video I want to skim some notes.

Like there's a reason link-only posts are disabled here and it's not so you just write 25 words and link to your YouTube

I just see it here as a board to share information and its not like im clickbaiting anyone or asking for subs and likes and all that nonsense. I make 3 or 4 videos a week but I only post here when I think something is relevant, anyway thanks for the feedback.
