Description

A full on refreshing, fruity summer vape with a cooling hint of spearmint.

Recipe

  • CAP Juicy Peach 4%
  • CAP Spearmint 4%
  • TFA Ripe banana 0.5%
  • CAP Vanilla custard V1 0.5%
  • TFA French vanilla deluxe 1%
  • CAP Sweet Strawberry 1%

Steep Time

  • Minimum of 2 weeks. due to the complex ingredients it takes a while for the fruits to blend nicely into the hints of custard and vanilla.

Breakdown

I've seen many a recipe that successfully blends fruits with mint, but as I am not a huge lover of peppermint or menthol I thought I'd try my hand at incorporating spearmint into a fruity mix, this was my thinking behind it all....

  • Juicy peach.
I love the refreshing taste of peach and wanted this to be my main flavour alongside my spearmint, too many recipes use strawberry as a main note alongside mint, but taking into consideration I was already breaking the norm using spearmint, I wanted to push the boundaries with the fruit component too.

  • Spearmint
As I previously stated, I originally chose spearmint for this recipe as I'm not a fan of menthol or peppermint, so spearmint was the obvious choice here. I went in quite high on the percentages as I wanted the mint to play a big part of the finished flavour

  • Ripe banana
I used a tiny percentage of ripe banana to accent the juicy peach. I find the sweet flavour of the banana helps mould the peach flavour well.

  • Vanilla custard & french vanilla
both of these flavours were added to improve the mouthfeel of the juice. without them the vape felt quite thin. by adding these in it brings in another dimension to the finished product, producing a thicker, more rewarding vape.

  • Sweet strawberry
no fruity juice is complete without an underlying strawberry note, and I found this particular one worked well with the other flavourings.

that's it! I hope some of you make this up and come back with your thoughts

Yay! Something I can use FVD in! I don't have Ripe Banana but I do have LA and TPA Banana Cream. Will either of those work as a sub?

I'd go with LA banana as a sub

seems like both those bananas will change this recipe a bunch because they're creamy whereas banana ripe is just a banana flavor. that's just my 2cents, i'm sure it'll still be tasty just much different

Banana Ripe is very, very strong. I would suggest LA Banana Cream would be good at 3-4%. Maybe even 5%, since the Peach and Spearmint are also quite strong flavors, themselves.
