Everyone is placing orders and getting new flavors, so I think maybe it's time for a new 3 ingredient recipe thread. Happy Memorial Day weekend!
How about 2 ingredients?
- 3% FLV mango
- 2% TPA jackfruit
- 4% CAP sweet guava
- 1% INW cactus
Or 4 ingredients?
- 2% CAP golden Pineapple
- 0.75% INW peach
- 0.5% TPA Papaya
- 1.5% TPA Kentucky bourbon
Or 4 ingredients and one optional additive ?
-
0.6% INW cactus
-
3% JF lemon juicy
-
1% FA lemon Sicily
-
1.75% FA black tea
-
0.5% koolada
I'll dig up a couple more when I get a chance
Edit: my current favorite as far as ry4 goes
- 3% JF ry4 double
- 1% DIYFS Holy vanilla
- 1% FLV Vanilla custard
Optional 1 drop FLV milk and honey per 15-30ml just as a slight sweetener
> Prickly Victory
> 4% CAP sweet guava
> 1% INW cactus
was reviewing mixes to bring on my vacation and i was like "well it's only two ingredients and i have both of them so why not?"
awesome recipe. i've got a 30ml of sweet guava on the way because of it
That ry4 sounds great! I don't have the holy vanilla though, is there any decent sub for it?
Hmm try TPA vanilla swirl 1% or INW shisha vanilla 0.75%. it's a good shake and vape but best after 10-14 days.
The Holy Vanilla kind of sweetens it and adds a little depth to the vanilla in the ry4 double. JF ry4 double is downright delicious though and I could vape it solo any time.
Would Jango work with FA mango?
I haven't tried FA mango, I'm paging /u/id10-t for input.
I honestly doubt it though just because FLV mango is the best of it's species
No. FA Mango is too dry and piney. Definitely not at 3%. It might be tasty at 1% with 3 to 4% TFA Jackfruit.. I could see that as an improvement over vaping Jackfruit as a single flavor. But it certainly wouldn't be sweet, juicy Jango.
Strawberry Lemon
Sweet Strawberry (CAP) 8%
Cream Fresh (FA) 3%
Lemon (FE) 2%
This is a recipe I use to introduce smokers to vaping. The flavor is strong enough to punch through that 16mg nic they are vaping in their ego devices (back then) or their all in ones (now).
Cap strawberry can handle the high percentages and the FE Lemon boosts it further.
What makes you use FE lemon instead of the more common ones? (Like the ones I have :p ) been seeing this flavour pop up a lot recently.
Because it tastes, smells, and acts like a real lemon. I kept reading that a bit of lemon will enhance just about any fruit flavors. So I did it and could see a slight improvement. Not enough to shout about, but they did help. I figured it was my fault I couldn't get the results advertised, and it probably is. I smoked for 48 years. Then a friend insisted that I try FE Lemon. I did, and my search was over. In the recipe above I used FA lemon Sicily for a year before switching to FE. It made a tremendous difference. It also inspired me to fully develop the recipe using some of the better strawberries.
The best 3-ingredient recipe I've ever made, and I make it often, is u/NotCharlesManson's Batter Up:
FW Blueberry 2.5%
FLV Cupcake Batter 4.5%
FA Nonna's Cake 0.5%
u/ID10-T makes a simple, very refreshing and seasonally appropriate**Mango Iced Tea:**
FLV Mango 4.25%
FA Black Tea 1.5%
Koolada 0.5%
Same goes for u/EdibleMalfunction with that Backwoods Lemonade:
FA Forest Mix 3.0%
FA Lemon Sicily 0.75%
LA Lemonade 6.0%
I'm mixing up a lot of FA tobacco juices at the moment; here are a couple combinations that are easy and really good:
Sweet Cigar
FA Shade 2.0%
FA RY4 2.0%
FA Tuscan Reserve 2.0%
Commander Che (not mine)
FA Coffee (Espresso) 3.0%
FA Maxx Blend 3.0%
FA RY4 3.0%
Simple Virguban
FA Cuban Supreme 2.0%
FA Virginia 1.0%
FA Black Fire 0.2%
Also recently made this attempt at a clone of Southern Freeze by Nicquid which came out pretty good. Menthol and koolada to taste-- I used 3 drops menthol, 2 drops koolada per 10ml.
TFA Peach (juicy) 6.0%
TFA Strawberry 4.0%
TFA Strawberry (ripe) 2.0%
Why do I see Best VG: 0% on a lot of ATF recipes? Does it just mean the author didn't fill in a value?
How's that coffee one? Seems like a lot of coffee flavors. Have you had FA up! ? It's a really nice coffee flavor, I've been digging it lately
I think I made that recipe with 2.0 Coffee, 2.0 Maxx Blend, and 3.0 RY4 fwiw. It has only been steeping since Friday morning, but something I like about FA Tobaccos is that they're vapeable right away. It's a good combo, the Maxx Blend has a dark sweetness, possibly Honey or molasses, or even sometimes I taste chocolate. I am going to try it again with 1.0% Maxx Blend, adding 1.0% Burley (FA) because I have figured out that Burley compliments the "tobacco" of RY4s very well at 1.0 and lower. Also, I have spent quite a while on flavor testing these FA tobaccos recently, and one of my goals was to find a tobacco that I could drop in to Pistachio RY4-U, because I love that juice. Burley does a good job of that, and I have a list of several that didn't work at all if anyone's interested.
Also, PM_ME_YOUR_ORYENTAL4_RECIPES, please. Open invitation. I love that flavor but there's not much out there for it, probably because it looks like many people find it disgusting. It has an awesome bitterness that just works, and is a welcome break from the custard & cookie-laden syrups we usually vape.
I've never used the Oriental ry4. But yeah as far as coffee goes I think Flavourart Up is the best I've come across, at least from the big manufacturers.
Have you tried FLV cured tobacco? I think that might be something to work into the pistachio ry4. I never liked that juice though, it's too cloying for me and the butterscotch portion is meh at best.
My daily driver.
CAP - Yellow Cake - 5%
CAP - Cake Batter - 2.5%
CAP - Graham Cracker - 1%
I'm looking for ways to breathe new life into the flavor, but it's one I never get sick of, which is highly unusual for me. I'm normally switching things up every couple of days.
I can try to start us off, forgive the formatting I'm on mobile.
Blueberry cream
TPA blueberry extra 4%
FA Bilberry 3%
TPA Bavarian cream 3%
You should grab fw blueberry and try the holy trinity of blueberry by /u/ediblemalfunction
-
3% blueberry extra
-
2% FW blueberry
-
0.5% FA bilberry
I'm sure that would go well with the Bavarian
I may have to pick up some FW blueberry. Thats my goto recipe for the SIL and it works well for my CBD liquids
Would you like to hear of my favorite Blueberry, TFA Blueberry Wild, my dear friend.
Oh yeah? I have a friend who like Blueberry Menthol, and despite my efforts to give him more complex things, I think I'm wasting my time lol. This would be both fun for me, and good for him. Thanks
I'll add a one shot flavor.
TPA Swedish guppy 7.5%
It's a dead on Swedish fish. It's a little perfume-ie on the exhale but that mellows in time.
Fantastic thread, I love me some simple yet delicious recipes!
Ditto. I PREFER 2 to 3 mix flavors. Mainly because I suck at mixing and I am a simple and broke man lol
I recently tried Coop's Kiwi cheesecake
3% TFA cheesecake Graham crust
4% FA Kiwi
2% FA meringue
I like a little less meringue in mine but it's bomb as is.
Damnit, I just ordered last night. But all I really ordered was maintaince ingredients for my "jungle Booty" recipe. Think a whole shit ton of various berry mixes (Forrest Fruit, berry mix, harvest berry), plus some jungle juice and Koolada in my attempt to approximate my old Hawk Sauce feels. It's still experimental but I'll post it here someday.
These recipes look good though, I've got some cactus coming but I think that's about all I got already in tow.
Some of these aren't mine but I enjoy them
