[Substitution] Dairy Milk TPA
submitted over 8 years ago by caf184

Does anyone have a recommendation that I can use to substitute Dairy Milk TPA. Was looking for a flavor that did not contain Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl. Thanks

You could also just leave it out, dairy milk sucks ass anyway

No! It is you who does the sucking of the ass! Dairy Milk is the best. Supreme leader vapes straight dairy milk, 36mg.

Imo over 0.5 maybe 1% and it's like cheesy armpits with cream. Not unusable but there are better ingredients for this, magnitudes better.

When I first got into DIY I used it at 1% in a strawberry and cream recipe and I thought I was a failure. Turns out you need to know your ingredients before attempting mixes.

I used to use dairy milk with graham cracker and key lime (both tfa). I started subbing vanilla swirl or vanilla bean ice cream (also both tfa). It's not identical, but they do bring a lot to the table.

Could you tell me percentage you used? I have all them concentrates but I could never mix anything good with key Lime. I'm assuming it's sort of key Lime pie flavour profile right?

I was shooting for key lime pie, yes. This recipe was my first attempt at diy.

  • 6% graham
  • 4% lime
  • 3% milk

By the time I switched away from the dairy milk, I got to where i just estimate recipes. Every batch is different.

Botboy's Key Lime Pie is the best-

-Custard (FA) 1.70%

-Key Lime Pie (TFA) 3%

-Pie Crust (TFA) 1%

-Cheesecake(Graham Cracker Crust) (TFA) 2%

-Lime Tahiti Cold Pressed (FA) 0.5%

Best key lime pie and nice and simple. Creamy lime, perfect crust, it's been awhile, might just make a bottle, today's mixing day.

Bit high total percentage for my liking but I'll keep proportions similar and do it as 1.75%/2.5%/1.25% gc/kl/dm. It's worth mentioning that my daily wattage is around 100w that's why I have to mix my recipes with low total percentage. It doesn't overload my taste buds that much and I make up "lack of flavouring" by consuming twice if not triple amounts of juice. Thanks for suggestion

I always got a hazlenut esque type flavor from that so I use fw hazlenut in its place. Much better imo with fresh cream when mixed together.

Fresh cream with a bit of fw hazelnut would get you very close.
