Over a year I've been doing DIY using the standard brands like FA, INW, TFA etc with some unique brands like nude nicotine's VG line. All w/o additives or sweeteners. The chest pains would be more noticeable then when I'd smoke, perhaps because smoking damages sensitive I've areas in the lungs.
I always had a little voice telling me that surely inhaling food grade particles day in day out (dripper) wasn't the wisest idea, even if it was the lesser of evils compared to tobacco.
Anyway, I've finally made the leap and started making flavour free eliquids, using nothing but VG or vg/Pg and the chest issues have finally stopped. Just something I'd want to suggest to others who are facing issues vaping but don't ask questions because of hive minded "vaping is 100% harmless" mentality. If you feel that flavourings cause you any issues forget about the basic suggestions of "maybe you're allergic to Pg" or "just drink more water" and give flavourless a shot.
Do you vape straight pg/vg mix? like 20/80 and nothing more? Or do you add anything else? Doesnt it bother you vaping always a tasteless juice?
It hapenned to me sometimes but IDK if its dependant on the build i currently have, cotton or anything else
Just 80/20, I find on its own VG is quite sweet so it's actually okay. Plus it's really the buzz of nicotine that keeps me vaping not the taste lol
I always vape flavorless while hiking the Appalachian, to prevent curious bears from getting within pistol range.
I usually always have a bottle of 70/30 flavorless on me. I use it to clear my RTA and relieve my palate. The subtle sweetness is a nice change of pace sometimes.
I've never gotten any chest pains of any kind while vaping though. I also don't notice a difference at all vaping flavored vs non-flavored inhalation wise, but if it works better for you by all means! That is certainly the least risky way to vape if you're going to do it.
Where can I buy flavourless to try it out?
