Thanks! It's always been about the community though. I really wanted a single place where anyone can add the information they want out there for DIY eJuice making.

Here it is. You yourself can quickly and easily add or correct information any time. It's the community who runs every page. There's a lot more coming very soon. I just wanted to get it out to the community so they can start making little changes here and there and I can naturally see the direction they want to take things.

I have a much more defined roadmap on the site. Just going to roll out each chunk in steps.

Check out CAP Sugar Cookie for an idea of where it's headed.

Thank you! Can't wait to see it when it's more filled out!!

I will be continually filling in pages. Pictures, general data type information. The help I really need are the flavor reviews.

Which I could always just copy/paste them over, but I don't really feel like I have the right.

Thank you, really a great tool for a great community.

And also thank you for providing your youtube videos. They got me into recipe creation. I wish you would do more of the old down-the-line style videos just saying here's cap such-and-such, I like to use this for x and y.

Here's tfa blah-deh-blecche, I like to use this for q and x. I liked those videos the most.

Anyways, cheers to a community success! And thank ya buddy

Holy shit this is exceptional! The post on CAP Sugar Cookie is awesome, and I definitely think that should be the gold standard for the posts. It's a good way of making it an effective resource for beginners with recommended percentages, and for advanced users with things like off-flavors and MSDS Sheets. I can't wait to see where this goes!

Thank you, really awesome to see the community follow suit.

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

But for CAP Sugar Cookie we'll actually need to remove that one at least for now, I didn't get permission for that one. It's a very lightly edited flavor review, just for example purposes.

Amazing! Will there be a list of recipes that the juices will work well with as to use as a reference?

I don't want to sound like I'm "protecting turf", so i hope you take this in the right spirit. I'm trying to understand what this adds to the flavor reviews wiki we've been building here. I guess the ability to edit a review, and to do so > 6 months after it's been posted, functionality which Reddit doesn't allow?

Again, just trying to figure out what the goal of this is. What you've done has been well executed and I'm not being critical, just curious.

IMO mediawiki gives users a much better informative experience, especially with good content management where everything is cross linked. And the unified design structure gives new and advanced users the ability to quickly find the sections that they are interested in. I would call this a major upgrade to the wiki here

100%, wiki was created to do just this

Plus I can secretly work on the backend in plain sight!

I got ya buddy. It's no problem!

This is a tool for the community. It isn't the community. If you find a review for such and such and they never mentioned that it gives an x offtaste. What do you do?..... probably leave a comment making a second location for information.

With a wiki (which is the Hawaiian word for "quick"), you can just jump in there and add that information. No foolin!

I'm actually going to be throwing some wiki philosophy/editing/formatting information on it that I read through for research.

Here's a quick link, I'll try to find the articles I really loved.

Turns out that Wiki is somewhat of a philosophical idea.

Make it easier to do good, rather than making it harder to do bad

Makes sense to me. Let us know when it's a little more populated and we'll link you in the sidebar.

Cool, I'll tell ya what. I got plans, and their gonna be coming both quick and over time. I'll let everyone know when it's out of beta.

There's gonna be a few new versions hitting before I consider it there yet.

Thank you!

I love this! Feel free to use any and all reviews I put out. This kind of thing is exactly why I post reviews in the first place.

This is the best thing ever! There's no better way to get to know stuff than link-hopping on wikis! And I see most of my favorite reviewers involved, BRILLIANT! I hope the design has room for contradicting/different reviews/notes/percentages from the community, so that all interesting opinions can be seen and there won't be arguments and people editing over stuff they disagree with

by Tiptup300about 8 years ago

That's some of the fun though!

I'm excited for some of those growing pains and figuring out systems to accommodate them. In the end it'll just strengthen the project.

This is awesome!

We will add it into sidebar over at /r/ejuice. Feel free to x-post as well to get some more traction on this!

by Tiptup300about 8 years ago

It's still in beta, so I'm keeping it with the community it started with for right now. You're free to add it to the sidebar, your choice, but I'm not releasing it anywhere else until I consider it out of beta.

For now it's a private place for /r/DIY_eJuice users.

Edit: Are you planning to add support for multiple languages?

Just jump in and start adding/removing/editing information man!

Just jump in there!

Multiple Language Support

Not at this time, but I have considered it. Definitly going to at least be foreign vendors when we get that far. No more posts "[RUSSIA] looking for vendor with x & y"
