Will overshaking ruin the juice?

So I have 30ml in some 120ml bottles, so there is alot of surface area for shaking. First time mixing, and I have an obsession with overshaking. I've been warming them with body heat and shaking rigorously/obsessively every 10 mins or so for over an hour. Im hoping the extra shaking will help it perhaps steep or mix faster and speed things up, But i'm not messing anything up by doing this am I? Will this speed up oxidation or anything?

Oxidizing the nic would be my only concern.... and only because yippy have so much air space with only 30ml in a 120ml bottle.

Some people get a pepper taste, I've either been lucky or just don't taste it.... never vaped dark/Oxidized nic at least not got that type of taste.

Basically makes your juice unsmokeable. Gets peppery and harsh. Edit: Pretty sure it loses potency as well.

I don't smoke juice but it would be a peppery vape.

It could possibly. Nicotine's kryptonites are light, heat, and oxygen. Mixing 30mL in a 120mL bottle leaves a lot of room for oxygen and your obsessive shaking is introducing more and more oxygen. It's probably not going to mess your mixes up, but it could. I'd just shake for a minute or two then let it sit for a week or so and you'll get the same results.

And you think If I leave them in the big bottles will the nicotine get oxidized? I only used the bigger bottles because they allow more space for shaking.

You don't need 3 times the volume to allow for ample shaking. You could have mixed 110mL in that bottle and been able to shake it just fine. Plus, most bottles we buy hold slightly more than they say.

Since this is your first time mixing, I wouldn't suggest making batches larger than 30mL, though. Buy some smaller bottles.

15-20ml batches in a 30ml bottle are what I started with. I still pretty much only mix 20ml batches unless it's something that I know I love.

You will also lose light volatiles to head space faster when you have that little juice in that big of a bottle. This sort of speeds up one aspect of the steeping process, but isn't necessarily desirable, sort of like trying to speed steep with heat. The end result will be less bright top notes after a while.

Shaking won't ruin the juice at all. In fact, some people even recommend giving the juice a good shake before filling it in your tank.

While it's unnecessary and overkill, I don't think it will necessarily ruin the juice, though it will probably have a small impact on the taste.

As someone who has tried a lot of different methods for speed steeping the fact of the matter is the only thing that really affects a juice like a steep is a steep.

You may get better or faster homogenization through these means but at the end of the day that juice still needs to sit a bit

When we make juices for our customers we always shake it and we have yet to receive any complaints. So there's that information.
