Perhaps a profile that is beat to death and back again. Nonetheless, I still enjoy and have fun making mixes around the profile but have been wanting more of a strawberry nesquik style. One road block that I always seem to run up against is that I feel like the final mix using TPA/CAP/FA strawberries I always end up with cream and "whole fresh strawberries". Pretty much every commercial juice I've tried has this character as well. So this leads to two paths in my mind. Find the right combination of additives to bend the strawberry into a "powder" like flavor or find a strawberry that is already inherently nesquik-like? Any thoughts?? I'm ready to drop some nesquik in the bottle and see...hahahha ...not...
Strawberry Shisha+strawberry ripe+more meringue then you'd think + fresh cream. I haven't finalized everything. But Shisha+ripe is very nesquik like with tons o meringue.

Thanks for sharing. I will try out that strawberry mixture..I have quickly fallen in love with that Shisha strawberry...hell I like most of them honestly but they are always way to forward for the flavor profile I am chasing. I am going to try your suggestions and keep the strawberry nice and low. I have been thinking of dropping a good amount of EM to mute and soften the bright tartness of the strawberry but then you get that caramel brown sugar thing going which might not be too bad....
These 2 are equally good for Nesquick. I quit trying myself after tasting these. 1 month steep optimal.
My current go-to for a nesquik recipe is this:
2% CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
6% TPA Ripe Strawberry
1.2% JF Sweet Strawberry
2% CAP VBIC
1% CAP Sweet Strawberry
2% CAP Sugar Cookie
0.5% INW Shisha Vanilla.
I've had 3 of my friends tell me individually that this recipe tastes like nesquik after I refused to tell them any flavour profile so hope this helps
TFA bavarian cream 2%
TFA dairy milk 1%
TFA sweet cream 1%
FA meringue 0.5%
CAP sweet strawberry 1%
TFA strawberry ripe 5%
Feel like it has to be 70/30 vg pg
Nice looking recipe. I can't stand that milk though I think fa fresh cream might work just as well at 0.5%
Oh forgot to mention, you might need to chuck in a bit of sweetener cause I doubt fresh cream has the same sweetness of meringue
If you want a real Nesquick flavor many consider FA's "Vienna Cream" the key ingredient. It's a key ingredient in HIC's Quickberry Pink.
The description says vienna cream has a "holiday spice" note to it? I keep seeing that FA meringue consistently. Thinking of throwing down some LA cream cheese icing and CAPS butter cream as well to really get things thick. Been mostly working with fruits and candies so need to beef up my dessert concentrates...then some more florals....then tobaccos....hahahha
FA Catalan Cream has those spice type notes , not Vienna Cream imo.
Vienna Cream will give you a DEAD ON Nesquick flavor though, i was shocked actually.

Thank you for this link. Looks pretty nice. I see all the usual suspects in here and have ordered a few that I didn't have so I will be mixing this up along with some other ideas I have.

To everyone that threw up recipes and/or suggestions specifically with the meringue I thank you. I still have some more concentrates to grab but so far I would say the meringue up around 2% has brought in a key missing element to soften up and chop up that strawberry in a way that gives you the nesquik vibe.
I will release the culmination of my profile chase in next months recipe thread. One move I have made is to drop the strawberry percentage down so that it is less forward and blends in with the cream heavy base flavors. Typically I see strawberry flavor totals up around 6-8% in these strawberry milk recipes and for what I'm chasing which is more of a creamed strawberry flavor dropping it down to around 3% gets me much more in the territory I am looking for. Almost like strawberry icing on a cake flavor. Thanks again for all the valuable input and suggestions.
