So this is TFA Orange mother f&#^(ng cream.
TL;DR You either own this already, or you need to. Or maybe you don't like oranges, fuck I dunno.
Tested at 1-10% solo
Setup Serpent Mini with 24/32ga Kanthal clapton@35-40w, and a Tsunami22 with 24ga Kanthal dual 9/10 wraps @ 50-60w. Wicked with rayon, and cotton depending on day. Mod is a Fuchai200.
Smell Hershey's Orange Creme Saver.
Notes This is top 5 concentrates I've ever had. I vaped 4-5 of my 10ml bottle solo flavor. It's basically an orange creme saver that's a bit heavier on the creme portion. Soft candied oranges, not aggressively sweet. Very creamy, more of a backup flavor that can, and will, get lost quite easily in a complex mix, honestly ridiculous, there are tons of juices that are mostly this with a touch of CAP Juicy Orange to make a cream-sickle. I would include a proper recipe, but shit, try this bad ass alone first. 8% even for you guys who consider such a high percentage heresy. I toss in .3% FW Blood Orange, and 2% Bavarian Cream in my typical Orange Creme Shake goto.
Steep Forgot to mention it on first go around, but comments reminded me, give it a week or two.
If you like oranges, and you like creams, please do yourself a favor and buy this concentrate. Thank you.
Steep this stuff. Steep anything you put it in, and if you think it's done steeping, steep it a little longer. TFA Orange Cream will reward your patience.
My favorite recipe that uses it is Detox by /u/philosaphucker
It's a good one, but this really needs a (imho) big fat two week steep at the bare minimum to get rounded out well. Vaping it before that just makes it harsh.
Goes well with tfa tangerine. (Throw in a little koolada and a touch of sweetener and you have something like 120 Cream Pop.)
You realize that steeping doesn't affect single flavor mixes right? You mix may start muting as the flavor in the VG ages but that isn't steeping. It's more like aging.
Thank you for this. It further reinforces in my mind the sheer number of useable "workhorse" concentrates that TFA has. They don't get the love they deserve sometimes. Of course, the new breed of super concentrates is rapidly advancing our art form but TFA gets treated like that reliable old ex-girlfriend.
This shit is heavenly when combined with FW Blood Orange! Hit it with some TPA French Vanilla, vanillin and a touch of VCV1 -- fucking magical...
How is TPA-CAP French Vanilla v2 conversion wise?
I haven't tried it with CAP V2... I have it, but haven't tried it yet. Next time I mix it I'll try to remember to mix up two different batches and compare.
The original recipe (not mine) called for some retarded amount of VCV1, like 10% (not kidding, lol); I dropped it significantly, upped the Vanillin and used the TPA FV instead of CAP. Turned out pretty fantastic, but honestly you could probably drop the VCV more...
> Blood Orange (FW) 4%
> French Vanilla (TPA) 1.5%
> Orange Cream (TPA) 3%
> Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) 2.5%
> Vanillin 10% (TPA) 1.5%
I've done this SNV, but a healthy week or two steep is definitely recommended.
I mix this with a little TFA VBIC for a very nice all day vape.
I toss FW Blood Orange in with the VBIC, just as good imo...Blood orange is a killer orange flavor.
