Hey folks, just put in an order for 100mg/ml VG nicotine over at vaper bc & got a phone call from Andy where he explained to me that somewhere during the extraction process the nicotine underwent some kind of natural phenomenon where when it was diluted into the VG it turned blue. The throat hit, and flavour is apparently the same. Has anybody had experience with this? My searches have been fruitless. Once I receive it i'll titrate it & update.
I've heard of brown, from oxidization, but not blue. Never seen anything blue either, other than colorings... Seems like if it's a natural phenomenon just from dilution we would see it all the time, no?
Yeah my 120mL bottle I got from vaperbc at the end of January has a pink tinge to it. I left it out of the freezer for a week and it got noticeably more pink.
Most likely it was bottled with nitrogen to stop the oxidizing. Nitrogen gives the nicotine a pink hue.

I cut pure Nic with VG, and it has a blue hue to it. It is sitting in our fridge now.

Also to be clear- i had cut it from 1000mg to 100mg. So I believe the blue color is a natural phenomenon.
