submitted over 8 years ago by kirktBring on the Diacetyl, baby

This is the thread to share all of your best individual creations. If you want to share your recipe as its own post, it must have extra content such as development process, variations, etc - but please post it here as well for posterity. We also have weekly threads for new-mixer questions and "help me mix something with these flavors" threads. Please help keep the community "clean" by posting in appropriate threads.

It's best to use the format:
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) y drops per z ml
(note - if you are having trouble with spacing, hit the space bar twice before you hit return and your comment will begin a new line without a paragraph break).

Don't forget to review the many recipes from the April thread. Your next ADV may have already been posted there. Congrats to /u/MrBurgundy314 for having the top-voted recipe last month.

Happy Mixing!

Here it is. A coconut vape for the world. FUCK, its so good.

Sweet, thick coconut milk

I had given up on coconut vapes a long time ago. I enjoyed using FA coconut but I never was able to get a good mix that featured coconut. I cannot stand TPA's coconuts so I never wasted my time with those. I recently ordered a 5ml of FLV sweet coconut and fell in love, thus spawned this recipe. Here's some notes:.

This is another recipe that kind of just built itself, the flavors just make sense and the result is great. Shake and vape ADV for me.

I saw a post about someone saying they get a coconut taste from graham crust. I'm not sure I get it too but the bottle does smell a bit like coconut. I decided to throw it into this recipe and it just works.

FLV Sweet Coconut a stellar flavor. Before this I couldn't make a coconut vape that I found enjoyable. I mixed it at 2% solo and it tastes like coconut milk, it's just creamy and delightful coconut. Reminds me of coco lopez. I threw some other things in here just to help it become even more decadent.

FA coco a nice coconut that's light and reminds me of coconut flakes, threw it in to backup the FLV

FA Cream Fresh adds some light cream to the body of the milk. Really fits here nicely, I tried to use Holy Vanilla or Vanilla Swirl here but this works better imo.

TPA Bavarian Cream so I tried this with a couple ingredients like FLV vanilla custard (1%) and CAP VBIC (1%) but Bavarian cream is the answer. Its got a light brown sugar or what some describe as maple nuance which I'm attributing to the Cyclotene in it. A bit of vanilla from the BC also just shines here. Works very well with the coconut to thicken up the milk and compliment it so perfectly.

FA meringue An additive, this recipe doesn't need help being sweet but meringue definitely helps this come across as thick sweet as fuck coconut milk.

TFA cheesecake graham kind of an additive, any higher and it would take away from the milk but its a perfect counterpart for everything else going on. Contributes to the body of the recipe, to me its like 50/50 on the graham vs cheesecake.

I mix this at 65% VG feel free to go up to 75%, shake and vape is awesome and it just gets better over the first week.

If you want it sweeter I recommend erythritol (0.5%) but you can use your favorite sweetener or a drop of TFA marshmallow per 30ml helps sweeten things up too.

Recipe:

 • 1.75% FLV Sweet Coconut

 • 0.75% FA Coconut

 • 1.5% TPA Bavarian Cream

 • 0.5% FA meringue

 • 0.5% FA fresh cream

 • 1% TPA cheesecake graham crust

enjoy ya'll mix it up at ATF or ELR

I'm gonna order the flv and fa coconut to make this. I love creamy mixes but I've done them to death.... But never with coconut. I feel the same way about TFA coconut so I'm hopeful I'll enjoying this one as much as you do.

I hope you dig it! as soon as I single flavor tested the sweet coconut I thought something like this would be perfect. I really like it as a shake and vape too. I've been addicted to coconut things lately so this was well timed for me

mannnn, all i'm missing is sweet coconut. have you tried tfa's coconut candy? i wonder if it'd sub well. i have also mostly given up on plain old coconut creme's. i've tried so many variations and nothing has come out the way i wanted. this recipe looks really good tho, really different than others i've tried.

by HashSlingingSlashurover 8 years ago

FLV sweet coconut is the backbone here, really recommend it. You can get a 8ml from gremlindiy for like 2.50 or something

Never used coconut candy but for real if you like coconut you gotta grab the FLV sweet

i'm gonna do it. fuck it. i trust you. gremlin's shipping is so fast cheap it's hard to argue.

by bhamcatmaybeover 8 years ago

you were right, flv's sweet coconut is what's up. fuck yes. this stuff is tits, i love it. THIS is what i've been wanting from a coconut cream. it's soothing and sweet but not too sweet and also not too subtle, just a perfect creamy coconut. i feel like what makes it special is in this mix the coconut sits snugly in the middle of the creams, on both inhale and exhale- there's no weird harshness or dryness on the end or off flavors lingering afterwards, very smooth. i'll admit i subbed jf's bavarian cream for tpa's but i'm sure the integrity of the recipe is intact. A++, will mix again.

I have had the same problems with coconut. Will try to add FLV Sweet Coconut in my next order to try this out.

Nice, if you like coconut in real life I think you'll like this one. The cheapest place to try it is gremlindiy it's 2.50 for the 5ml which is actually 8ml

Nice, if you like coconut you'll dig it for sure. At least I hope so lol.

I really love this sweet coconut flavor, I could vape it all day at 2% solo but I feel these additions just make even better. Especially that Bavarian cream , it was the last tweak that made me say yep this is the one

Damn this is good!
I was just vaping If You Like Pina Coladas by /u/ID10-T, which is also delicious btw, and thinking I wanted to find a good coconut recipe and there it was, right in the recipe thread. I had to order FLV Sweet Coconut to make this, but I am so glad I did.
I mixed up a 30ml right away and figured I would taste it and put it away for a week for it to steep, but it didn't make past 48 hours :-).
I am making a 120ml of this now and another 30ml batch so I can try it with the marshmallow too. Thanks for the recipe.

Great to hear, I'm so glad people are trying this one because it's really damn good. Seriously thanks for the feedback. I'm working on a mango colada utilizing FLV sweet coco, still in early development though. Thanks again!

Your recipe put me in the mood for a coconut vape but I didn't have FA coconut so I bumped the FLV sweet coco up to around 2.25% and added about 0.5% TPA key lime and its delicious! I will definitely make the original once I get FA coco though. Thanks for the recipe.

Here's my absolute best recipe so far, I've gone through 150ml of it in the last three weeks. I hope you'll try it and enjoy it as much as I have.

Apricot Mandarin

MFG | Flavor | Percentage ---------|----------|---------- FA | Armenia (Apricot) | 5% FA | Mandarin | 2% TFA | Marshmallow | 1% TFA | Brown Sugar | 0.5%

I love it right off the bat, but everything settles into place after three to four days.

by ID10-Tover 8 years agoWinner of the 2nd DIYorDIE World Mixing Championship

Even better than your Bourbon Ice Cream? That's a bold statement. Have you ever had your Bourbon Ice Cream after it's been steeped for a month? I can't imagine that Apricot Mandarin being better.

3 points

by Tacliteover 8 years ago

I have! I found that 1 month is the sweet spot, it doesn't really get better after 2. Apricot Mandarin is a whole different beast, but I do like it better than Bourbon Ice Cream. There's something about it that keeps me interested, drip after drip.

2 points

by ID10-Tover 8 years agoWinner of the 2nd DIYorDIE World Mixing Championship

Ugh. Fine. I was hoping you'd allow that maybe it wasn't quite as good as Bourbon Ice Cream after a month and I could move along, but since you're sticking to your guns I guess I'll try it.

Do you have a recommended steep time on it? I have trouble imagining it not benefiting from some kind of steeping with the Mandarin and Brown Sugar in there.

2 points

can you send me a link for your famed bourbon ice cream? thanks!

Bourbon Ice Cream

MFG | Flavor | Percentage ---------|----------|---------- TFA | Vanilla Bean Ice Cream | 8% TFA | Kentucky Bourbon | 3% TFA | Toasted Marshmallow | 2% TFA | Brown Sugar | 1%

Steep for a minimum of two weeks, up to a month.

2 points

by Fireworrksover 8 years ago

Can I substitute marshmallow for toasted marshmallow? I've still got a lot laying around from your bourbon recipe.

2 points

by Tacliteover 8 years ago

I'm not sure how well the toasted flavor will play with the fruits, it would change the overall profile a fair bit. Give it a go and let me know? :)

1 points

by VANeijiover 8 years ago

This one looks interesting, I'm not too familiar with the flavor profile of Apricot/Mandarin. You reckon this will go well with a little bit of mint?

1 points

by Tacliteover 8 years ago

I think it could work, but that might depend on the type of mint flavor. I doubt peppermint would work well, but other types might!

1 points

by VANeijiover 8 years ago

Can I sub TPA Marshmallow with FW Marshmallow? Same %?

1 points

by Towerfulover 8 years ago

Don't have Brown Sugar, and I have CAP Marshmallow.
I also added FA Fig Fresh. I figured I was far enough away from the original recipe, that I might as well experiment.

Anyway, heres the subbed version

MFG | Flavor | Percentage ---------|----------|---------- FA | Armenia (Apricot) | 5% FA | Mandarin | 2% CAP| Marshmallow | 1% CC | Golden Syrup | 0.75% FA | Fig Fresh | 2%

Shake & vape is pretty tasty.
Gonna let it settle, and see how it is.

Thank you, I actually just ordered all the flavors just to make those two. I hope they are as good as people make them sound.

1 points

by goofyfootmixerover 8 years ago

Thanks Taclite for the excellent recipe and for teaching me exactly what people mean when they say 'when the juice settles down', or "they don't play nice with each other at first', or some other undecipherable phrase that indicates that you should let it sit awhile.

I mixed this some days ago and wrote on the bottle try again after June 1st. I tried it, and I love it. FA Apricot is a favorite flavor and I add it in other mixes for the instant richness it adds. I've never used it as the main flavor though; an oversight that will be corrected.

The lesson. Since I like it so much, I mixed another bottle just now so I could taste the difference between the aged one and the new one. Well, there it was, a harsh astringent almost bitter taste that I have tasted before, but in my ignorance I didn't associate it with steeping or aging. I just moved on. A big mistake on my part. I guess that is what happens when you mix in a fairly isolated environment.

Both juices are in identical Derringer style clones, 0.57 ohm SS coils, and a max temp of 420f.

So, thanks again for the wonderful juice and the lesson learned that I should have already known.

Glad to be of service! Steeping is a mysterious process, indeed.

#Hear the Girls Come

If you ordered a banana milkshake and someone accidentally added a scoop of mint ice cream to it by mistake you would think you would be pretty pissed, right? I know I would. But you know what they could throw in there that no one could get angry about? Chocolate!

Think vanilla milkshake with chocolate-covered bananas blended into it. Mmmm. Chocolate. A girl's best friend and the most phallic of fruits make an orgasmic combination in this recipe made only from ingredients in the April 2017 Awesome Box.

Mfg | Flavor | % ---|---|---- TFA | Banana Cream | 4.5 FA | Fresh Cream | 1.5 CAP | French Vanilla | 2 FLV | Milk Chocolate | 0.08 FLV | Sweet Coconut | 0.25

Steep: Overnight

Notes:

TFA Banana Cream - This creamy banana is the heart of this banana milkshake, but is also easily substitutable and augmentable. Go bananas with it. Do you prefer LA's version or find that the two of them are better together than either alone? Substitute 4% LA Banana Cream for the 4.5% TFA Banana Cream or use 2.5% TFA and 2% LA. I have reason to believe the DIYFS Banana Cream would also work, but you're on your own for a % on that one. Do you crave a bigger, bolder banana? Add 0.75% HS Banana or 1.25% FA Banana. Want less Runty, more natural-tasting monkey food? Add the HS or FA and drop Banana Cream to 3.5%.

FA Cream Fresh/CAP French Vanilla - Milkshake cream base straight-up stolen from /u/mlNikon's "Here Come The Boys" for this... homage? Parody? Call it what you like, it works. If you like your shakes like you like your PAWGs, extra thick, supplement this with 2% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream or for pepper tasters and other weirdoes, the same amount of CAP VBIC, and eat it with a spoon. Want to be able to slurp your shake through a straw without blowing an o-ring? Leave it be. It's good.

FLV Milk Chocolate - What an attention whore this Hershey's syrup flavor turns out to be! It might as well be practicing deep throating on longnecks at the bar. While it tastes fine for what it is up to 1% without getting weird, I had to back it down in version after version all the way down to 0.08% to keep it from steamrolling over everything else. If you're working on a recipe and you want Hershey's chocolate syrup to be a secondary note rather than the main flavor, allow me to suggest making a dilution or seriously stepping up your "half-drop by barely squeezing and then gently rubbing the nipple on the rim of the bottle" game.

FLV Sweet Coconut - There are only a few recipes that can't be improved by adding 0.25% Sweet Coconut. This isn't one of them. Here, it helps FLV Milk Chocolate taste less like Hershey's syrup and more like Magic Shell chocolate. Which, by the way, is something you can make at home by combining chopped milk chocolate and coconut "it's not just for lube anymore" oil and zapping it in the microwave. For real.

I finally have FLV milk chocolate arriving today; sadly I have no TPA banana cream nor CAP French vanilla. I might spin this with some LA banana cream for now. Idk how I've gone so long without TPA banana cream, all the comments about it seem wonderful. I gotta grab some next order, it never ends.

I can't wait to mix this one. As soon as I can find FLV Milk Chocolate in stock somewhere, that is. I have been looking for something with chocolate in it as a supporting flavor and it sounds perfect in a banana milkshake.

After mixing your Snickerdoodle, Honey Peary and If You Like Pina Coladas, I pretty much just mix a 60ml of anything you post with a flavor profile I think I'll like now.

Thank for you sharing these recipes. Hopefully I will come up with my own concoction that is worthy of sharing with the community someday.

The Colada Affair

Description: A Pina Colada with a strong coconut balanced by bright acidity from lime and pineapple, and a light floral touch finish from hibiscus. Sticky sweet and full-flavored.

ATF LINK

The Recipe:

 • FA Coconut- 2%
 • TPA Coconut Candy- 1%
 • TPA Coconut Extra- .5%
 • CAP Hibiscus- 1.5%
 • CAP Golden Pineapple- 2%
 • TPA Jackfruit- 1%
 • INW Lime- .25%
 • FA Oba Oba- 1%
 • FLV Cream- 1.5%

The Notes:

FA Coconut, TPA Coconut Candy, TPA Coconut Extra

When in doubt, steal from the best and then ruin it. Originally this combination was wholesale lifted from ID10-T's If You Like Pina Coladas, but i've pushed the artificial coconut note up quite a bit. The goal was a strong, assertive coconut that toed the line on straight sunscreen. It's an aggressive coconut note, but I feel like it's balanced well by everything else going on here.

CAP Hibiscus

The floral part of the recipe. CAP's hibiscus reminds me of a floral take on the top notes of a pineapple, so I just kind of went with it. 1.5% is enough to make a noticeable difference, but not dominate any of the other flavors in play.

CAP Golden Pineapple, TPA Jackfruit

I wanted a juicier, instead of sharp or realistic take on a pineapple so I went with these two. For all of the canned weirdness, CAP Golden Pineapple is hella juicy, and TPA Jackfruit helps to fill that in further and sweeten the pineapple note up a bit.

INW Lime

A twist of citrus to brighten everything up. I went with INW Lime because it is the best ever for everything. But seriously, I like how sweet and bright it is for beverage type vapes.

FA Oba Oba

Subtle vanilla, cream soda kind of flavor that fits really with the creamy coconut and juicy pineapple. Also helps to give the mix more texture and cut some of the syrupy sweetness.

FLV Cream

The cream, as far I'm concerned. Nice and thick but not too sweet or dense. Also helps to tone down some of the acidic brightness from the pineapple and lime.

The inspiration, a work of short fiction:

Her voice cuts through your overfed nap, startling you awake on your plastic poolside lounger.

"Are we doing okay over here?"

Her white hospitality uniform comes into focus against a rich blue sky. She's pretty, but she looks impatient. Her hips are slung to one side, and the pen she's holding in her right hand looks poised to drive itself clear through the notepad she's holding in the left.

Annoyed by your obvious disorientation, she repeats herself subtly slowing down and enunciating each syllable like you may actually be stupid instead of suffering from a mild form of sunstroke and an overzealous attack on the continental breakfast.

"Are we doing okay over here? Can I get you something to drink?"

Her eyes catch yours and, for a second, it doesn't seem to matter that you're here with your family. You manage to stammer out that you'd like a Pina Colada, a decision you instantly regret. You could swear you see a glimmer of derision in her hazel eyes, like she expected more from the overweight, sunburned Adonis sprawled out under a languid tropical sky.

Forcing a smile, she assures you that your drink will be right up as she pivots on her heels and unhurriedly walks back to the budget resort's version of a tiki hut. She looks like a goddess from here, her chestnut hair kicked up by a sweet floral breeze, leaving the smell of hibiscus and her suntan lotion in her wake.

She smells like you imagined those girls on the Hawaiian Tropic posters smelled, all sweet flowers and thick coconut. Those posters got you through high school, sulking about whatever JV level heartache laid on you that week by another sweet girl with the good sense to stay away from insecure teenage dickheads.

She's laughing now, with the handsome dirtbag pouring drinks behind the bar. He's graceful, but it's all wasted effort. He grabs the Pina Colada mix in one hand, and the opaque sludge seeps artlessly between the ice filling the blender carafe. The rum comes after that, studiously measured out to the drop in an almost comically small shot glass. A short burst from a blender, a sad looking lime wedge and she's got your drink in hand and walking towards you.

She looks tired. She looks like she's trying to talk herself into coyly smilingly and performing the same disheartening song and dance she does for every middle aged guy beached poolside.

You are just another flabby source of tips, one of the thousands that will appraise her solely as a source of amusement in a comfortably mediocre life.

She gets paid to do this, and she gets tipped extra to offer the escapism of a potential tropical fling to reassert whatever primal masculinity these guys are convinced their 2.3 kids and demanding wives are somehow subverting.

She gets tipped to make you forget about the way you cried when your wife finally accepted your marriage proposal, when you felt like all of that loneliness from years of chasing women who only tolerated you was blasted away by your wife's kind eyes and honest enthusiasm for spending her life with you.

She gets tipped to make your forget about that day in the hospital when your first daughter was born, and the wonderment of how someone so grievously flawed, petty, and small could help produce something so heartbreakingly beautiful.

It's the service industry. It's escapism.

It's a transaction, and now she wants to conclude it.

She wants your room number, but it's just somewhere to charge the drink.

You tip the three bucks you have left in your wallet, hidden under a wadded white towel at the side of your increasingly uncomfortable plastic recliner. The transaction ends, she turns to go, and you take a sip while you luxuriate in the scent of her suntan lotion and the hibiscus carried on the gentle breeze. It's not a great drink, but you can't beat the view.

I've said it before at /r/mixersclub and you've forced me to repeat it on ATF and two different facebook forums. Here we go one last time:

I love this hibiscus colada.

I don't know that it's one I'd suggest rushing out to buy the ingredients for, but if anyone reading this has the stuff to make it already, MIX THIS UP.

Vape it while re-reading that short fic, which /u/bhamcatmaybe has perfectly described as "sad, but in a good way." That way it's not just a tasty juice, it's an experience.

I'm really digging the way some DIYers are merging art forms to create not only sensory but also emotional and intellectual experiences, and this is a standout example of that.

I'm glad you liked it. It's fun to play around with the form a bit (and a lot of credit goes to /u/ID10-T for all that Longing nonsense and laying down the gauntlet after trying the recipe.) It was definitely a stretch for me to try to bring in another component in the recipe, but it was a good exercise in thinking about how I wanted the recipe to be experienced. Like the best case scenario for trying to connect with the people that mix this up.

by SophisticatedHackover 8 years ago

So nice to see you are able to do some recipe development with your disciplined approach to single flavor tests. I dare say it looks good. I have been starring at the TPA Jackfruit and where to place it. I feel like it has a beautiful round sweetness to it but I pick up a distinct note that reminds me of fermentation/bread/alcohol. Do you get that as a stand alone? Of course that doesn't mean it can't do magical things in a recipe. I am now inspired to pull it out and perhaps work it behind some mango and peaches.

2 points

by ConcreteRiverover 8 years agoaka IceT'sHamSandwich

I get some funk as a single flavor but not so much in a mix. The coconut here is a bit of a streamroller, so it really just adds some juiciness back into the pineapple underneath that heavy layer of coconut. It doesn't really show up for me if there is a lot else going on in the recipe, and it's definitely worth messing around with.

i made this last night. i bought oba oba and jackfruit for it. i'll be honest and say that i left hibiscus out because i'm not a fan of anything too floral, besides honeysuckle. i also fudged up a bit while mixing and added about 0.5% extra of FA's coconut. i don't think the integrity of the recipe is compromised tho. i smelled it after a good shake and an overnight steep and i'm having a hard time waiting for it to steep any longer. i told myself i'd wait til the weekend to try it tho. i will report back then.

Mango Blossom Macaron

A classic Parisian treat with a flowery tropical twist; macarons infused with flavor from the blossoms of a mango tree.

Flavor | Mfg | % ---|---|---- Almond | FA | 2 Cream | FLV | 1 Honeysuckle | TFA | 4 Mango | FLV | 1.5 Meringue | FA | 2 Sugar Cookie | CAP | 2

Steep: 8 days.

FA Almond 2%, FA Meringue 2%, CAP Sugar Cookie 2% - Simple and to the point, this is a macaron, a sweet meringue drop cookie made with egg whites, icing sugar, and ground almond. They're often infused with flavors and color, and made into a light, delicate cookie sandwich with a cream filling that might or might not also be flavored and colored. FA Almond gives a clear, clean almond flavor and FA Meringue has both the airy baked egg white and powered sugar thing going on. CAP Sugar Cookie stays sweet, texturizes (makes whole almonds ground), and further bakes these goodies. When I think about what a macaron tastes like, these three concentrates together just seem insanely obvious. AP-laden bakery ingredients are just too heavy for such light and airy cookies. Try this simple 2/2/2 macaron base with your preferred macaron flavors, but take care not to do so with a heavy hand. These treats are delicate and the flavoring should be subtle yet ingratiating.

TFA Honeysuckle 4%, FLV Mango 1.5% - So the recipe name and that little italicized description are basically bullshit. I have no freaking clue whether Honeysuckle + Mango tastes like a mango blossom. I did google to make sure mango blossoms were actually edible and not poisonous or something, but I've never tasted one. What I do know is that these two concentrates are wonderful together.

FLV Cream 1% - There's your cream filling. This stuff is my Frank's Red Hot lately. I knew it played quite nicely with Honeysuckle and with Mango and I never tried any other cream here while developing this. But, if you have to sub something, try 1.5 to 2% CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream, which will shorten the steep time, or TFA Whipped Cream 2%, which will stretch it to two weeks. Neither of those will be quite the same, but should still be tasty.

Edit: A very slightly (1% less Honeysuckle) version of this debuted at /r/mixersclub and although I didn't use any advice from the critiques there, I still appreciate the hell out of them.

by ConcreteRiverover 8 years agoaka IceT'sHamSandwich

I dug this with 1% less Honeysuckle, and I can't imagine the addition changes the experience much. The macaron base here is absolutely on point. Taste is dead on to profile, and a bonus I can see people stealing and abusing that 2/2/2 thing and running with it. I like the mango/honeysuckle thing going on as well. It sits just far enough into the base and gives you a (relatively) subtle flavor like you'd get from an actual macaron. Great stuff.

I'm 100% stealing this macaron base right after I try the mix. I have all the ingredients but I'm so lazy rn.

BTW I'm working on a mango sticky rice recipe with FLV mango, FLV sweet coco and FE sweet rice; its really promising so far.

After the Party

 • Bavarian Cream (TPA) @ 1%
 • French Vanilla Ice Cream (HS) @ 0.5%
 • Graham Cracker (FW) @ 2%
 • Holy Vanilla (DFS) @ 1.5%
 • Vanilla Custard (CAP) @ 4%

Total Flavoring: 9% Steep: 10-14 days for best result

Creamy custard heavy on rich vanilla with a subtle cookie crumble.

This is another belly button recipe. I'm probably 20 iterations in. Since January I've been altering it an ingredient at a time, however the past few times I haven't changed anything. It's what I'm looking for. An easy vanilla vape. Ol' faithful. It's mild yet rich, and it won't assault your senses. When I've spent the whole day tasting and testing, I can kick back and enjoy this After the Party.

Flavor Notes:

4% CAP Vanilla Custard v1 is the base. It's buttery, thick, eggy, and robust. I don't like too much egg though, so it stays kind of light. If I'm doing a custard, it's gonna be with this guy. I tried INW Custard for awhile but it has the same note that I don't like in INW Creme Brulee. CAP has a better flavor for my basic bitch American palate. It's just good. There. That's why I used it. The vanilla part is meh at best, but that's okay. We have a secret weapon:

1.5% DFS Holy Vanilla is elevating that vanilla into uncharted planes of nirvana. That creamy, mid-baking, vanilla extract essence with its full bodied aroma absolutely has to be here. This will solve all of CAP VCV1's vanilla problems, and take it where it never knew it could go. I've pushed this to 3% without regret, but the custard starts to thin out. At 1.5% the vape remains a thick custard with a very authentic and satisfying vanilla.

0.5% HS French Vanilla Ice Cream adds some complexity to the custard. It has a rich cream note that is super buttery. I had 1.5% TPA VBIC in the recipe, but it was too bland. It was flattening the profile. FVIC does the opposite. It fleshes out the creams without emulsifying everything into one muddled flavor. 1% Vienna Cream worked pretty well if you're missing this flavor, but it won't be the same.

1% TPA Bavarian Cream is another supporting flavor for the custard. Along with FVIC, it bolsters the dairy profile around that egginess. It has some of that warm, homely feeling to it that I get from Holy Vanilla. Any higher and this would start to be known, but at 1% it hangs out in the background.

2% FW Graham Cracker has no cinnamon, it's just a fresh graham. It isn't as crunchy as TPA. I didn't want it to seem like a graham crust but more of a cookie crumbled into the custard. It doesn't pop right out; it's just another warm accent to make this feel like a relaxing vape.

Edit:

The word is in: I'm alone in thinking it makes an okay shake and vape. Sorry for being misleading. It wasn't intended to be a shake and vape though. Let this sit for 2-4 weeks. 4% VCV1 is nothing, and it takes awhile to come out.

Happy mixing. 👽

Okay, this is my first recipe. I know it's extremely simple, but it came out very good, and I'm excited that something that escaped from my meandering brainpan actually tastes pretty stinking good. It's a key lime yogurt, nice and creamy, and not too tart. Forgive me if my formatting is crap, the only internet access I have is on my phone. Also, I want to thank the wonderful people here who gave me the courage to actually try making my own juices. I'll shut up now, here's the recipe.

(TFA) Key lime - 6% (FW) Yogurt - 4%

Mixed at 80/20%, 6mg

i humbly offer a thing:

birmingham butter pecan

 • 3.5% FW butter pecan
 • 1.5% JF bavarian cream
 • 1% FW butterscotch ripple
 • 0.5% DS holy vanilla
 • 3% FA soho
 • 1.5% CAP VBIC
 • 1.5% TFA VBIC

this is my really my go to juice, and is as close to an actual ADV as i'll get, considering my tendency to carry around 3 or more everyday- i can guarantee that this is almost always one of them. i've gone through 3 different variations and i feel this one is really finished. it's great after 3 days but it really becomes magical after a week. also here is elr link if anyone prefers it instead.

I've been waiting to post this one. My clone/ode to Honey Suckle My Cuke by B-X Vapor. I know he doesn't use RF Cucumber, I KNOW he only uses CAP(95% sure).

I present my Cucumber Mint Water!

HSMCLONE v5.2

CAP Cucumber - 2%

RF-SC Cucumber 3.5%

TFA Honeysuckle 1%

INA Cactus 1%

TFA Spearmint .6%

The touch of saltiness adds something you wouldn't expect from a very green vape. Definitely not for everyone, tastes like a drink vape, perfect for a breezy day. Cucumber and Honeysuckle are the top notes, with the spearmint coming in a close second. The cactus adds a juicy/syrup taste to the spearmint which is quite nice. If you don't have RF-SC Cucumber get it! Or use CAP Cucumber at 6% to start. Do NOT OVER SPEARMINT. IT WILL RULE YOU. Even at .6 it's one of the top notes. Been vaping this for about a month now, it's the stable version of the recipe for now, I will not be altering it for a long while.

BAM.

Soggy Crunch

 • FLV Cinnamon Crunch 4%

 • FA Catalan Cream - 2%

 • FA Vienna Cream - 1%

 • LOR Cream Cheese Icing - 1%

 • CAP Cereal 21 - 5%

 • FLV Milk and Honey - 1%

 • FA Meringue - 2%

Not too original but really tasty. Tastes like you left them in the bowl too long. I based this off of a few other recipes for this profile but wanted something just a little bit different. I made this months ago and was going to share it but didn't. I need to start sharing more of my recipes here. I'm really picky so I almost never make a second bottle of anything but this I made a few times. I didn't want a real prominent baked cereal flavor but more of a soggy toast crunch because I loved that as a kid.

FLV Cinnamon Crunch tastes like a dough toast crunch to me. This along with Cereal 27 makes for the base of the mix.

The Catalan Cream and Milk and Honey really makes this shine as it some how pushed it into the soggy cereal territory along with adding to the milk base. Really blended the entire thing together great.

Everything else is just the usual cereal mix flavors. Probably some redundancy here but I was pretty happy how it turned out so I called it good.

Give it 3 days and vape away. Never got feedback from anyone one on this so if you mix it up let me know what you think!

##Autumn Sunset v2

Ingredient|%| :--|:--| FLV Cavendish|1.25%| FLV Apple Filling|1.25%| FLV Alpine Strawberry|0.75%| FLV Fig|0.75%|

Steep: Pretty darn great straight away, tobacco matures about 5 days in.
Ratio: 20PG/80VG

I loved this recipe and wanted to tinker with it outside of the constraints of a contest. As much as I enjoyed it with CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl, FLV is the King of cinnamons so I wanted to introduce some of them to this pairing.

Initially I went with Rich Cinnamon, which was good but balancing it was quite difficult. I had also tried FLV Red Apple in here as I would have liked a darker and softer apple with the Cavendish and Fig. Upon smelling FLV's Apple Filling, it immediately struck me as a blend of Rich Cinnamon and Red Apple; while this does seem to be the case, the balance on the two is incredible, making this task easy. With a softer rounder apple, the Strawberry ripe becomes less of a necessity to soften the edges of the recipe, and with the cinnamon in Apple Filling being less invasive than Cinnamon Danish Swirl, the Strawberry flavor is more pronounced as well.

Just a revisit of one of my favorites. Hope you enjoy as much as I do!

'Preciate that! I have tried CAPs fig, but not extensively. I really like FLV Fig, it is dark, musty, thick, and slightly sweet (would probably be a good start toward a date stone). I know man, I'm a big fan especially their tobaccos and oddities.

1 points

Smelling caps fig, it's certainly a much brighter fig flavor. FLV's is more like a dark musty jammy fig. I would def recommend FLV's here

My Clone on "ONO Strawberry Coconut Milk." I fell in love with Ono's Strawberry Coconut Milk the first time I vaped it and I knew I HAD to clone it. This is my take on the recipe with the ingredients I currently own and I personally think it's pretty spot on.

FLAVOR NOTES:

Bavarian Cream(TFA) - This concentrates offer that light cream needed in the recipe. Not too heavy to mask the strawberries and coconut.

Coconut (FA) - It is a coconut recipe so....Adds complexity to the mix and it works wonders at 3%. Really complements both the creamy base and the strawberry top notes.

Strawberry Ripe (TFA) / Sweet Strawberry (CAP) - 2% Ripe and 3% Sweet give off a fresh, yet candy like strawberry top note. I wanted more of the Sweet Strawberry to contribute to the overall sweetness in my recipe.

Sugar Cookie (CAP) - This concentrate is added at a small percentage to complement both the cream and fruit aspects of the flavor profile. I wanted this recipe to have that "premium" sugar lips feel and Sugar Cookie at 1% offers a slight grainy texture while also again sweetening the overall profile.

Sweet Cream (CAP) - Sweet Cream is going to work alongside the Bavarian Cream to add a nice creamy, sweet base to complement the fruit.

Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP) - Vanilla Custard at 1% is the perfect amount to add a deep rich creaminess to complement the Sweet Cream and Bavarian Cream. Just the right amount to add a "heavy" cream flavor without making this a custard flavor, but a milk flavor.

Depending on your taste buds you can lower CAP SuperSweet to your liking, but 1% is the for sure the max you want to use. I usually alternate between .75 %and 1%

 • Bavarian Cream (TPA) @ 2%
 • Coconut (FA) @ 3%
 • Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) @ 2%
 • Sugar Cookie (CAP) @ 1%
 • Super Sweet (CAP) @ .5-1%
 • Sweet Cream (CAP) @ 1.5%
 • Sweet Strawberry (CAP) @ 2.5%
 • Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP) @ 1%

TOTAL FLAVORINGS :13.5% - 14% based on how much CAP Super Sweet you decide to use.

Steep time: Shake and Vape Certified, I feel this recipes is amazing right away.

Hope you enjoy and please leave any constructive criticism down below! -Jtwelve

Titanic V2

I'm still trying to clone Titan by Blue Dot Vapors.

All CAP

Flavor | % ---|--- Apricot | 4 Gingerbread | 1 Graham Cracker| 3 Juicy Peach | 2 Sweet Tangerine| 0.75

Steep time: 12 days. This will have some bitter top notes and general terribleness without a healthy steep. Just like actual Titan, which is why BDV sells pre-steeped versions.

Disclaimer: I have not tried the above recipe yet. It's steeping. Normally such a thing would be very frowned upon, but this is not a "here's my awesome recipe you guys gotta try it" type of recipe post. It's a "here's one of the things I'm working on, what do you think about what I'm up to?" kind of post.

This was version 1:

All CAP

 • 3% Apricot
 • 1.5% Juicy Peach
 • 0.75% Sweet Tangerine
 • 2% Graham Cracker
 • 2% Gingerbread

That version was off. Way off. But not so far off that it convinced me I needed to add, remove, or replace any of those ingredients. I think it could be possible to get much closer just by tweaking their percentages. It was way too much ginger, not enough graham cracker, and not enough stone fruit. The V2 seen above is a wild attempt to address all four of those issues at once. My usual process is much more meticulous. So, I also have four other versions steeping that addresses the issues with more conservative changes to V1. I have some hope that after trying V2 through V6, I'll be able to create a V7 that just might be a very nice clone. Or I might be tempted to throw my hands up and just quit, though sharing here is partly an effort to prevent that. To create some accountability, if you will. Nobody wants to be that guy who tried to make a clone recipe and gave up after seven versions. Updates will be posted, regardless. Edit: on or around May 14.

For the curious, here are V3 through V6:

V | Apricot | G' bread | Graham C | Juicy P | S. Tanger ---|---|----|----|----|---- V3 | 5% | 2% | 2%| 1.5% | 0.75% V4 | 3% | 2% | 2% | 3% | 0.75% V5 | 3% | 2% | 4% | 1.5% | 0.75% V6 | 3% | 0.5% | 2% | 1.5% | 0.75%

/u/mlNikon, /u/rinvapes - you two said you wanted me try to do this publicly, in what I suspect was an attempt to get me to embarrass myself with epic failure to your schadenfreudian delight. What do you think?

UPDATE: Version 2 and to a lesser extent, Version 5 were very close. I think adding 1% Graham Cracker and possibly 0.5 to 1% Gingerbread to V2 might nail it. Turns out 2% doesn't seem like an excess of gingerbread when other ingredients are increased, it was far too prominent in V1 because I wasn't using enough apricot, peach, or graham cracker. Might also try upping the Sweet Tangerine to 1% for a nice even 13% overall flavor, though 0.75% seems to be doing the trick. Regardless, I definitely think I've got the right ingredients and have Apricot locked in at 4%, Gingerbread at 1 to 2%, Graham Cracker at 4% or maybe higher, Juicy Peach at 2 to 2.75%, and Sweet Tangerine at 0.75 to 1%. Just a little bit more fine-tuning to do.

Will be trying just one more version first, before deciding if another round of multiple versions is needed:

Titanic V2.2

All CAP

 • Apricot 4%
 • Gingerbread 2%
 • Graham Cracker 4%
 • Juicy Peach 2%
 • Sweet Tangerine 1%

Is it a decent clone or just a really delicious juice?

You didn't find the Gingerbread to be overwhelming that high? Something in my mix must be amplifying it. Based on my SFT's of Gingerbread at 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%, I was shocked to be tasting that much ginger in my V1 at just 2%, but sure enough, it was very front and center and not like the more subtle ginger note in Titan. It did still taste like the right ginger for the job, just way too much of it.

2 points

by WorstAdviceROCover 8 years ago

To me, it tasted very close, with the nectarine being an over the top addition. The ginger tasted spot on as well, but like I always say, my taste recognition sucks... That, and the ginger in Titan was very fleeting in the first place. Did you ever mix up your MOTP clone? It wasn't far off either, and again, I used that delicious MF Nectarine.

Someone's going to mix up some of that V2, wait the required two weeks, try it alongside some actual Titan, and tell everyone how terrible it is both as a clone and in general. I'm going to have work so hard to redeem myself after that, I might just give up mixing, grow a /u/hocuskrokus beard, and go hide in the woods for the rest of my miserable days. And all because you and /u/RinVapes put me up to it. I hope the guilt eats you alive when that happens.

I decided not to join in on this month's clone because I don't own a single one of the flavors to make it; which is impressive that managed to happen.

I just tried out the sample they sent and I get no fruit notes whatsoever. All I can taste is gingerbread and gradcracker. Pretty odd; I was expecting to at least taste some apricot along with the rest of the profile.

1 points

by ID10-Tover 8 years agoWinner of the 2nd DIYorDIE World Mixing Championship

How long did it steep? The fruity bits seem to be pretty well-balanced in the one I have, but I bought the re-steeped version... On the other hand, that's the opposite of what effect I'd expect steeping to have; I'm counting on it to calm down the fruits, not bring them out. Weird. I don't follow the commercial juice biz much at all. Have you heard about any batch consistency issues with BDV?

The bottle says it was born on 3-16-17. I've vaped 8ml of the 10ml sample I was given.

If no one told me what flavors were in it I never would have guessed apricot was there. I have no personal experience with this company so I can't comment on their accuracy at all. ECR seems to love them so I'm guess it's just my palate that isn't picking those notes up.

Basic Bitch v.1

I have been enjoying this recipe for almost a year and I feel it's about time I share. I've given this recipe to a few people in that time, although they tried to improve it, they all reverted back to the original.

Cappuccino V.2 (CAP) @ 5%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (CAP) 2.5%

That's it! Basic as it gets. 8.5/10 as a Shake & Vape and 9.5/10 imo after a 2 week steep (no breathing). Tastes like a Vanilla Bean Cappuccino from Starbucks hence the name. Just make sure you wear your UGG boots and yoga pants to complete the look. Enjoy!

Toasted

Toasted cereal with sugary whole milk

Manufacturer | Flavour | % ---------|----------|---------- CAP | Cereal 27 | 3% RF | Bread Pudding (SC) | 2% TPA | Toasted Almond | 1% FA | Meringue | 1.5% FA | Vienna Cream | 1% TPA | Vanilla Swirl | 3%

The Cereal: Cereal 27 (CAP)/Bread Pudding (SC)(RF)/Toasted Almond

Cereal 27 is used to create the foundation of the cereal. It brings its toasted cornflakes like profile, which has a grainy texture and noticeable cereal taste. Toasted Almond is used to really bring out that toasted note, while Bread Pudding adds a lot of depth by adding notes of cinnamon, raisin, dough, vanilla, and pudding. Bread Pudding also smooths the cereal out and makes it a tad soggy when the milky components are introduced.

The Milk Meringue (FA)/Vienna Cream (FA)/Vanilla Swirl (TFA)

This is a sweet thick whole milk that adds a lot of mouth-feel to the recipe. Meringue is great for adding sweetness but by itself won't create that milk taste without help. Vienna Cream is a potent cream that can cut through the heavy cereal profile and with Meringue they form the whole milk taste. Vanilla Swirl is used to enhance the recipe by adding additional sweetness, mouth-feel and bridges the milk + cereal together by smoothing everything out.

That sounds wonderful! Makes me want to buy RFSC Bread Pudding and TFA Toasted Almond. I wonder whether we'll have two recipes named "Toasted" be the top-voted recipe in two consecutive monthly threads; seems very highly likely at this point. But, you have a typo in your notes that might have some people wondering when FlavourArt came out with a Vanilla Swirl.

Haha oops, thanks! If you have FLV Crunch Cereal you can swap it for Bread Pudding and you'll get more crunch and toast. I just love any opportunity to use Bread Pudding because it tastes so good! Toasted Almond is a neat flavour that works so well in bringing out the cereal profile. It's also slightly sweet and has vanillin in it which works well with the milk too.

I do have FLV Crunch Cereal, but I just ordered some RF some SC flavors a few days ago and keep seeing things since then that made me wish Bread Pudding was one of them. This really piles on how big of a mistake not picking that one was. And I've probably gone too long without adding Toasted Almond to the collection as well, but I just haven't seen anything before now that made me wish I had it.

Do you have a recommended steep time for this? My other RF SC flavors smell like they'd be pretty gnarly without a decent steep but others have talked of S&Ving some of them.

I'm not much of a fruit vaper but all of my friends are. I've been trying to come up with something different but still in the realm of fruity deliciousness. This is the first fruit recipe that I've created that stands out from the crowd, which I really enjoy. There's something intriguing about this mix that I just love.

I present.

Chi Blast

 • Cactus (INW), 0.75%
 • Honeydew (TPA), 0.25%
 • Lemon Grass (FLV), 0.25%
 • Lychee (FE), 1.5%
 • Lychee (FLV), 0.75%
 • Red Summer (Watermelon) (FA), 3%
 • Wild Melon (FLV), 2.5%

This is a very juicy, and (wet?) mix that is melon and lychee heavy with a lingering lemongrass exhale. It is very refreshing, and very different in my opinion. As a shake and vape the lemon grass is very present, but after a week or so it calms down and everything melds together nicely.

Looks really well balanced. I am a melon addict so I can really appreciate the choices and percentages you have put together here. I wish I could mix it up right now but admittedly have no experience yet with Lychee and Lemon Grass. Really creative work here. I will try to get to this before the months out. Looks right up my alley.

Totally new here, minor background in chemistry and lots of food safety training (serve safe certified, went to culinary school, etc) about to mix my first batch once my supplies arrive. I decided to pick up the Vape Wild advanced DIY kit because it comes with everything needed to mix by volume (about 500ml worth for $40) including all of the tools I might need. I'm picking up a digital scale if this works out so I can mix by weight instead of volume. Anyway, this will be my first recipe once my supplies arrive. I'm listing the flavorings as VW since I don't know if they're making their own or reselling another brand until it gets here.

Piña Coloda Creme:

Coconut (VW) - 2%

Pineapple (VW) - 2%

Bavarian crème (VW) - 1%

Graham cracker (VW) - .5%

I'm going to probably let it steep for 5-10 days, vaping a small amount each day after giving it a vigorous shake to find the optimal steep time. Starting with a small 10ml batch at first and if it turns out as well as I hope, then I'm making a 60ml batch.

They definitely do rebottle, I've never purchased from them so I'm not sure what brand they're using as their own.

Other than that, it's definitely apparent you've read the sidebar. We appreciate that :)

2 points

by DoctorCreepyover 8 years ago

When the kit arrives, I'll take a close look at the bottles and see if there's any sort of other company listed, like "bottled by: ", and adjust my recipe accordingly so if someone wants to try it out without going through VW and almost definitely paying more than they would in going to the original manufacturer.

I will never understand people that don't read the side bar. It's a website where people read and respond to other posts... If they're already here, reading so much stuff, why not take 30 seconds extra to read the rules?

2 points

by DoctorCreepyover 8 years ago

Okay so, quick update:

VW doesn't have any markings on their flavor bottles to indicate it isn't made in-house. I'm still unconvinced that it is, but I'll ask them to confirm it. That said, they are pretty damn good. Even without steeping my above recipe, it tastes pretty fan-damn-tastic. I only mixed a 10ml 70/30 12mg bottle to test them out, but so far I'm very impressed. I can't wait to see how it turns out after steeping it. This has definitely unleashed a DIYmonster and I'm going to be ordering more flavors from the big name companies and larger amounts of pg, vg and nic. I just figured this was a really cost effective way to see if it was for me... And it SO is.

The Kretek Cure

##Klove

Ingredient|%| :--|:--| FLV Native Tobacco|1.5%| FLV Clove|0.25%|

Steep: Pretty darn great straight away, tobacco matures around 1 week.
Ratio: 20PG/80VG

I used to love me some Djarum Blacks, and this reminds me of them so well!

The FLV Native Tobacco to me tastes along the lines of a higher end cigarette tobacco, maybe like a Nat Sherman or something. I think they were probably going for an American Spirit type of tobacco, and I think they did a really good job with this one.

The FLV Clove is just asking to be paired with a tobacco for a Kretek style vape. It is bold yet not overwhelming, rich without being dry or harsh, and has nuance and balance. If you like clove at all you need to get this one.

A fairly simple and straightforward recipe, but if you're looking for a good clove tobacco vape this will probably be up your alley. Still tweaking %s here and there but so far this is the best iteration.

3 points

by suchCloudsover 8 years ago

Interesting idea. I used to love Djarum long ago, when Americans could still buy the real thing. They'd put a 'sauce' with different subtle fruit notes into the tobacco that perfectly complimented the clove, and finish it all up with a spray of sugar on the mouthpiece to put a sweetness on the lips. They were never the same after the 2009 bill that outlawed flavored cigarettes. I'm not into tobacco vapes (and so I haven't tried a wide variety of them), but I might have to try this one next time I order flavors, if it really does remind you that well.

1 points

by CheebaSteebaover 8 years agoFrugivore

The FLV Clove is kind of scary how authentic it is and resembles that of clove cigarettes. I'm sure there are numbers of tobaccos/blends you could use to get that representative tobacco flavor from a Djarum, but I did particularly like the Native Tobacco among the different FLV tobaccos I tried; I have some RY4s and INW for pipes but I didn't try them since they don't really fit the profile.

Edit: I will also say, while I can't say for sure that the Native Tobacco is a NET, and I'm pretty sure they claim it's not, it vapes like a NET to me (though I don't have much experience to base that on), so just something to keep in mind.

When i can get my hands on some FLV i'll try this for sure!

By the way, you know any of their tobaccos that has some spice bite to it?

Hey guys,

Been lurking for too long and never shared anything or reviewed a mix. So here is my latest "Keep" mix I am sharing with you as a welcome gift

It's not an attempt to recreate anything. I just wanted a simple fruit vape that was soft on the throat and a little creamy without the use of creams. Something sweet, not candied or over ripe, you know, that "ahhhhhhh this feels good" stuff. Well this hits the spot and trust me, you will be licking the tip of your dripper with this one.

You can definitively shake and vape this but wait 3-4 days for all the flavors to blend together.

Nephalem Juice

(TPA) | Banana Cream | 4%

(FA) |Blood Orange | 1.75%

(TPA) | Dragonfruit | 2%

(TPA) | Orange Cream | 3%

(TPA) | Papaya | 0.75%

(TPA) | Strawberry (ripe) | 3.5%

(JF) | Strawberry Sweet | 1.75%

(CAP) | Super Sweet | 0.5%

Not too much to explain as this is a pretty straight forward profile:

-Strawberry ripe and banana cream are made to be mixed together imo

-I started with CAP sweet strawberry but JF just rounded the strawberry and banana mix better

-Blood Orange. Have not experimented much with this one apart from this recipe but it gives those bright sweet orange notes to the mix

-Orange Cream supports the Blood Orange and retains the banana creaminess

-Dragonfruit adds to the cream base and cuts the sharp notes from strawberry ripe and orange cream

-Papaya is emmmmmm..... The secret ingredient that takes this mix to a new level. It is barely noticable but makes the strawberry shine and gets that yellow candy marshmallow banana taste out of the mix.

-Sweetner to taste but some is always welcomed :)

Note for big batch mixers: I mix by drops (35) small batch 30-60 ml.

> You can definitively shake and vape this but wait 3-4 days for all the flavors to blend together.

Have you tried this after letting it steep for two weeks or longer yet? I'm wondering how the FA Blood Orange behaves; does it fade, take over? And does the strawberry hold up, or fade out? Are the flavors still bright or do they get muted? But also advising --- because just about anything with Orange Cream in there is going to improve with a longer steep.

2 points

by dani-jover 8 years ago

Never got to two weeks. Current batch is 1.5 weeks old and the strawberry is sitting in the back with the banana cream but the sweetness of sweet strawberry with the papaya remain in the middle of the mix.

The Blood orange definitely is brighter but paired with the orange cream it remains in balance and does not overpower the mix.

Pink Eye

 • Cereal 27 (CAP) @ 5%
 • Cream Fresh (FA) @ 1.5%
 • Graham Cracker Clear (TPA) @ 1%
 • Meringue (TPA) @ 2%
 • Strawberry Ripe (TPA) @ 2%
 • Super Sweet (CAP) @ 0.25%
 • Sweet Strawberry (CAP) @ 4%
 • Toasted Marshmallow (TPA) 0.5%

Total Flavoring: 16.25% Steep: 1-3 days (S&V)

Instead of pouring cinnamon powder on my cornflakes, I chopped up some sugar-coated strawberries and tossed them in the bowl.

This is my Toasted recipe minus the Rich Cinnamon with a couple strawberries added in. I also bumped Cereal 27 from 3% to 5% so it will stand up to the strawberries enough. Really simple adaptation, yet it radically changes the profile. See Toasted for the cereal notes if you're interested.

Flavor Notes:

CAP Sweet Strawberry is a bright, sugary, kind of candied flavor. It's exactly the kind of Strawberry you want in your cornflakes. At 4% it plays with Cereal 27 as a top note. It's presence is also felt on the bottom of the recipe in the milk.

TPA Strawberry Ripe brings a touch of that authentic, fresh strawberry flavor to the mix. 2% isn't very apparent, but it fleshes out the CAP Sweet Strawberry. There's not much else to say about it.

This is a good shake and vape. Let it set for 1-3 days first and you will be rewarded.

Happy mixing. 👽

Definitely going to try this. I made Toasted a few weeks ago and kept wondering what it would taste like with fruit instead of the cinnamon. Thanks!

I had been doing the same for awhile. It works with Apple or Banana as well. I haven't tried Blueberry yet, but I don't see why that wouldn't fit. This isn't as textured as Toasted, but it still makes for a great vape. This is more like the bowl of cereal has been sitting for a minute or two. Hope you like it!

fig in the city

CAP fig 2%

FA soho 2.5%

TPA toasted marshmallow 1.5%

FLV cured tobacco 0.5%

this is a layered sweet tobacco that has a nice roasty mouthfeel and is pretty satisfying as an evening vape, or with coffee. this is my version 2 and i think it's great. i suspect FLV fig would sub well for CAP's here, but i haven't gotten FLV's yet. ELR link here

Here is an all Inawera DA/AP free custard that is amazing, It's more like a custard slice thanks to the Biscuit as it has a strong biscuit presence throughout the vape which really gives it some substance and supports everything. Custard is very eggy and light it tastes great but needs filled out a little.

Creme brulee is quite true to it's name and gives a caramelized brown sugar note atop the custard, much like the aforementioned dessert. It has some brown sugar grain to it as well.Marzipan adds more texture with a smooth subtle nuttyness throughout. I think marzipan is what really tips this custard over the edge and is what makes the custard a little bit interesting.

Dat Custard Doh

INW Custard 3%

INW Biscuit 2%

INW Marsipan 1%

I, unlike most people, am a big fan of black licorice. So I started messing around with the absinthe flavor and different pairings. After a few tries I came up with this nicely balanced grape concoction that I call Grape Liquorice.

Absinthe (TFA) @ 7%
Licorice Colorless (LA) @ 2%
Citrus Punch (TFA) @ 3%
Grape (FW) @ 3%
Extreme Ice (FW) One or two drops per 10mL

The absinthe provides a note for the other flavors to ride on, albeit a slightly harsh note at that. I added the Licorice Colorless to add a bit more oomph. The Citrus Punch creates the sour portion that I find myself including in a lot of recipes. The Grape, brings the sweetness, at 3% is somewhat subtle. I think this is a great combination with the Absinthe flavor. The Extreme Ice cools everything off with a nice minty exhale. I wouldn't know if this flavor is better steeped because each time I've made it I vape it all in like two days. Give it a try! I hope you enjoy it.

Summer is nearing and my summer drink recipe is as good as I am able to get it. I really enjoy coconut in foods and drinks but I have a big problem with it in vaping. Coconut always takes the front seat in vape form, I find it difficult to work with and almost everything I mixed up with coconut gave me gag reflexes.

I mix a bit backwards than other people. Alot of the time I splurge. and buy a whole lot of 100ml flavors that most people don't have. In one of those splurges I bought FW Scooby Drink. Scooby Drink is simply a non describt fruit with a pleasant coconut undertone. Maybe some type of melon or pineapple? It's truly difficult to describe it, it's not fresh fruits it more of a puree maybe with a dash of coconut in it. Standalone it's a great vape at around 8-12% depending on your setup.

Now to the recipe, I was going for a milky, fruity and coconutty drink. Almost like the ones I used to serve as a bartender.

Shaggy's Cauldron

 • FW Scooby Drink 5%
 • FA Cream Fresh 2%
 • FA Meringue 1%
 • FA Coconut 0.5%
 • CAP Super Sweet 0.2%

It's not winning any Nobel prizes this recipe, it's quite straightforward.

FA Cream Fresh and FA Meringue is the milky base, it's been used to death but it works really well in here.

FA Coco gives the coconut in Scooby Drink a little nudge and a bit more body without it tasting like coconut milk.

And the sweetener is optional but I like it more with it.

It's a shake n vape but with some time the milk rounds out the sharpness from the coconuts . Around a week and it's great.

Any feedback is welcome, positive or negative, let me know.

EDITS: Formatting on my phone is difficult.

Been working on this one for awhile. I think it's finally done! I really, really like it. Kind of a caramel custard with a bit of coconut (but it really blends in and doesn't taste like coconut at all).

Brû-La-La

 • TPA Vanilla Custard @ 5%

 • TPA Brown Sugar @ 0.5%

 • CAP Coconut @ 3%

 • MF (I see it sold as Lotus Flavors now) Caramel @ 2%

 • TPA Meringue @ 1.5 %

 • TPA Marshmallow @ 1%

 • TPA Acetyle Pyrazine @ 1%

This recipe was inspired by a commercial juice I like (Golden State Vapor's Crème Brûlée), but it's not an attempt at a clone. I just wanted a vape that hit similar notes. I went through 12 different iterations of this recipe before I thought it was finished, and I think the end result is great. The caramel and coconut notes really mix excellently. I can't decide if I like the Brown Sugar or not, so consider it optional. You could also probably bump up the caramel a bit, but the Lotus caramel is pretty strong. Acetyl Pyrazine and TPA Marshmallow are there for mouthfeel. Meringue is just a sweetener.

I wouldn't actually say this tastes much like Crème Brûlée, since I've never really seen anything that captures that burnt sugar taste. After proper steeping, the coconut blends right in and forms a bridge between the custard and caramel. I mostly get the sweetness as top notes which turns into a lovely, full caramel flavor with a custard base. On exhale there's sort of a butter note that I really enjoy.

Yes, this recipe does absolutely require Lotus (aka Medicine Flower) Caramel, and it can't really be subbed for anything else. It's the only caramel I've used that tastes anything near the real thing. You can get it at ecigexpress.

Be patient and let this steep for at least a week. Two is probably better. It takes time for everything to come together, and if you try it too soon, I don't think you'll get the full effect.

ATF Link

Edit: BTW I'm still pretty new at this and would love feedback/ideas. Probably a lot of people don't have the MF/Lotus but I think it's worth it.

Vanilla Ice

Vanilla Iced Cappuccino...

Manufacturer | Flavour | % ---------|----------|---------- FA | Dark Bean (Espresso) | 1% DIYFS| Holy Vanilla | 2% FA| Meringue | 2% FA | Cream Fresh | 2% TPA | Vanilla Swirl | 2% TPA | Koolada (10%) | 1%

Profile: Dark espresso and sugary vanilla infused milk..on ice. Its sweet, strong, creamy, and smooth, which all contribute to it's thick, delicious, icy mouth-feel.

Dark Bean (Coffee Espresso) (FA): It's bitter, it's rich, it's in your face and it's realistic. Although, it's quite dry, and does need some help to balance that out.

Holy Vanilla (DIYFS): Rich, potent, sweet and the perfect vanilla to stand up to the strong espresso. Starts to form the vanilla milk.

Meringue (FA): sweetens everything up and enhances the vanilla milk profile by softening and adding fluffiness.

Cream Fresh (FA): makes the milk and the mouth-feel velvety smooth.

Vanilla Swirl (TPA): increases the mouth-feel by adding sweetness and creaminess, while also smoothing everything out.

Koolada 10%(TPA): Love it or hate it but the icy finish is really intriguing.

Alright, my first recipe posted here. This is a fruity, sweet vape with notes of apple, pineapple, lemon and peach. A friend told me it tastes like "a fruity bubblegum I've had before". I prefer these "simpler" recipes over complex custard juices. This one (and other, similar adaptations of it) has become my ADV.

It's pretty bland the first couple of days, but the flavors develop and blend together over time. INW's Lemon is very potent, and also pretty gnarly and overpowering the first couple of days, but it mellows down and boosts the other flavors. INW Lemon in combination with FA Lemon Sicily is simply amazing imo.

TFA Raspberry (Sweet) also works great with other fruity flavors.

Props to /u/notcharlesmanson for this flavor profile. Lord knows I was completely lost on my previous attempts.

This is my version of /u/notcharlesmanson Pebbles recipe. His recipe was the recipe of the year on the DIYorDie website, but for me it failed over time with the Graham Cracker note really taking over the mix after a couple weeks.

I switched up a few flavors that I felt would be less offensive to this mix and others that would stand up well with other flavors. I feel these changes has improved this mix and it'll stand the test of time... something that's very important for me.

This mix is Citrus dominant with a subtle Cereal backnote in a milky base. Like NCM this is one that was difficult for me to nail, but with his flavor profile I've nailed a version that's very enjoyable for me.

1 drop Orange MF per 15 mls. Can be subbed for Orange FA @ .35%

Steep at least 2 weeks, but it really shines after 30 days.

Skittles (Gmix)

Ingredient|% :---|---: Grape (MF)|0.8 Green Apple (MF)|0.4 Lemon (MF)|0.15 Liquid Stevia (Pyure)|0.5 Orange (MF)|0.15 Sour Wizard (FA)|2 Strawberry (SC) (Real Flavors)|1

Flavor total: 5%

Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!

This mix has come together really well. It's very close to Skittles flavor. It is full flavored with sweet and tart accents that mirrors the actual skittles. The fruit notes are almost spot on and very bright in this mix.

This does require at least a months steep because of sharp notes and the use of MF extracts. These sharp notes does die down in time.

1 drop Orange and Lemon MF per 15 mls

Steep 1 month, use no heat.

Swedish Oatmeal Cookies (Gmix)

Ingredient|% :---|---: Almond (FA)|0.8 Butter Toffee (SC) (Real Flavors)|0.8 Dark Chocolate (MF)|0.4 Holy Vanilla (DIYFS)|0.7 Liquid Stevia (Pyure)|0.4 Oatmeal Cookie (SC) (Real Flavors)|2 Rich Cinnamon (Flavorah)|0.03 Sweet Cream (CAP)|1

Flavor total: 6.13%

Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!

This mix has has turned into something special. Layers and layers of flavors. I get a OM Cookie top note, then it layers down to the individual ingredients. Chocolate and Toffee are secondary notes, but very prominent. I also get a bit of a tingle from the cinnamon and a nice creamy tongue coating from the cream with a visible mild sweetness. When you think it's all done, there's a nutty note at the end. This is a well rounded mix that kinda leaves you guessing because there's a lot going on here.

BTW, 1 drop cinnamon per 30 mls.

Steep 3 weeks... use no heat.

On the inhale you get a sour lemon, almost candy like taste that will open up the senses for the pineapple mango-ish juicy exhale the will leave a lingering (kinda) canned pineapple taste that will fade away slowly and be sure to remind you to take another puff.

Please do leave your notes and criticism as I have been tweaking with this for 2 weeks now (mostly on weekends, I have a job fellas :P) and finally felt confident enough to make it public!

I know vanilla custard is pretty vanilla and that was lame as fuck but I finally got around to picking up the heavy diacetyl flavors I've been missing so I threw together a recipe that is by far the creamiest, richest vape I've ever had.

Popcorn Lung

CAP Vanilla Custard V1 @ 9%

Hope you guys enjoy and I welcome any feedback. I also recently picked up cigs again on and off :( so I can't taste for shit in case you're wondering why the percentages are on the higher end.

Back in the January thread, someone I know posted their spin on a recipe I made, and I liked what they were trying to do, but I didn't think they did it quite how I imagined the flavor should be. So I finally got around to making my final version of the recipe.

Suckle My Peach v4:

Strawberry Ripe (TFA) - 4%

Juicy Peach (TFA) - 3%

Honeysuckle (TFA) - 1%

Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) - .5%

Toasted Marshmallow (TFA) - .15%

This is one of my more complex recipes, but it could be a good introduction for someone that wants to dip their toe in tobaccos. It'll get you some good Tobacco flavors to play with, a staple tobacco additive, and a couple others that seem to work well in the fruit world.

American Politics v3

TFA Coconut Extra- .25%

INW Dirty Neutral Base- .5%

INW Gold for Pipe- 1%

TFA Kentucky Bourbon- 1%

FLV Red Burley- 3%

INW Tobacco Cavendish- 2.5%

Steep at least 10 days

It's a yummy Honey Bourbon Cavendish pipe tobacco. Almost sweet enough to fall in to the dessert side of things, but no caramel and vanilla, so it's a nice alternative to RY4 type of mixes.

What you'll get:

Gold for Pipe- a nice introduction to the "for Pipe" line from Inawera. Obviously not as dark and smoky as Dark for Pipe or Black for Pipe. It's a well balanced Pipe tobacco that I think could be very useful for anyone trying to make their own aromatic pipe mixes.

Red Burley- my personal favorite of all the FLV tobaccos that I have tried. It's got some earthy notes to it and it isn't a bright and crisp as the others. Makes for a good Tobacco base.

Dirty Neutral Base- if your goal is authentic tasting synthetic tobacco, you'll want this. Adds a little bit of ash to the mix. In the .5% range it won't really be detectable, but you'll know if it's gone. Lately I've been going buck wild with it in the 1.5-2.5% range. Love it.

Tobacco Cavendish- not super strong on the tobacco, but it has a warm Honey note to it. It may be stinky to those around you though, so an acceptable sub would be INW Gold Ducat (I have not tried the new version though, so I guess I can't say 100% that it will still be good.)

Kentucky Bourbon and Coconut Extra- in the low percentage range, they add a nice warmth to a mix. I personally don't go above .5% with the Coconut, but it is strong enough that I haven't really had to.

I've been playing around with this recipe for quite a while. It's v3 on ELR, but it actually started a few iterations before I finally made an account. This is the version that I like the best (besides the one where I replaced the Red Burley and DNB with a Latakia NET. That one was fantastic.)

American Politics v3 INW Gold Ducat- 3.5% INW Flue Cured- 3% FLV Red Burley- 1.5% TFA Kentucky Bourbon- .75% TFA Coconut Extra- .5% INW Dirty Neutral Base- .5%

I was on vacation, and let several folks try it who I was vacationing with, who are still on analogs, they asked me to borrow my vape constantly, it was a big hit!

Mexican Sweet Corn Cake

Biscuit (INW) @ 1.5%
Butter Cream (CAP) @ 0.5%
Cereal 27 (CAP) @ 4.0%
Sweet Cream (TPA) @ 0.5%
Vanilla Custard V2 (CAP) @ 1.0%
Yellow Cake (JF) 1.5%

Profile: A sweet, moist, vape loaded with corn flavor. Mexican Sweet Corn Cake is a traditional side dish served in Mexican restaurants here in Southern California. It has a dryer consistency than a Corn Pudding with less whole kernel corn and more slightly mushy cake.

The Body: CAP Cereal 27 provides the corn base for this recipe. It has the right flavor for the foundation but lacks the proper texture and sweetness. The addition of JF Yellow Cake and INW Biscuit bring out the texture and mouth feel that make this recipe taste like a slightly dry and crumbly corn cake. CAP Vanilla Custard V2 is crucial in this mix as it adds the moisture needed to add a slightly mushy texture without being too eggy like it would with v1.

Supporting Flavors: The combination of CAP Butter Cream and TFA Sweet Cream add a sweetened condensed milk note that delights the palette. This moves the overall flavor a little closer to a creamed corn. It is very subtle but present.

Steep time: It actually tastes great as a Shake N Vape but really comes to life after 2-3 weeks. The depth of flavor and mouth feel are spot on with a full months steep.

Straw-Blurry Creme'

Bavarian Cream (TPA) @ 3%
Cheesecake w/ Graham Crust (TPA) @ 2%
Marshmallow (FA) @ 1%
Strawberry Ripe (TPA) @ 7%
Sweet Cream (CAP) @ 1%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA) @ 1%
Vienna Cream (FA) @ 1%
Whipped Cream (TPA) @ 1%
Sweetener (TPA) @ 0.5%

My Take on Strawberry Cream. Sweet, Full Bodied, and Succulent. Creams work wonderful together, with a little sweetness from the Marshmallow and Whipped Cream, especially on the exhale. Just the slightest touch of grain from the graham for texture. Sweetener is optional, but it rounds out the Strawberry bite and leaves that luscious sweet strawberry taste on the lips.. Excellent as a shake and vape, even better after a steep. Easily an all day vape. Mix this up, you won't be disappointed. Look forward to everyone's feedback!

Baked Big Red (Snickerdoodle like):

 • Sugar Cookie (CAP) @ 5%
 • Red Touch (FA) @ 2.25%
 • Sweet Strawberry (CAP) @ 2.25%
 • Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP) 3%
 • Vanilla Custard (CAP) @ 2%
 • Marshmallow (FA) @ 1%

I steep all my mixes 2 weeks before sampling.

This is a rich, sweet, bursting with flavor and is a thick/full pleasantly smooth vape. The cinnamon makes a note that I can't describe other than what I remember Big Red gum having in it's flavor, but on top of a pastry/sugary cookie. Slight hints of strawberry sweetness embedded. A few of my friends say its a good snickerdoodle.

Enjoy.

I recently got into mixing and mixed up a few top recipes from here. Mixed some of my own up and this one came out pretty well and wanted to share.I am not the best at describing my tastes yet, so would love to hear comments from others more well versed if they give it a try.

Louisiana Sweet Tea
https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/42708

Green Tea (FA) @ 1%
Tea Black Water Soluble (FA) @ 1%
Juicy Lemon (CAP) @ 0.5%
Super Sweet (CAP) @ 0.5%
Marshmallow (TFA) @ 0.25%
Lime Tahity Cold Pressed (FA) @ 0.25%

CAP Juicy Lemon/FA Lime Tahity: These two flavors, at this percentage give you a lovely lemon-citrus blend. It's a light counter-balance to the earthy depth of the teas.
.
CAP Super Sweet/TPA Marshmallow: The Super sweet gives you that sugary sweetness that comes with sweet tea. The TPA Marshmallow gives a little more sweetness, plus a tiny bit of vanilla/marshmallow. Honestly, at 0.25, the marshmallow can likely be dropped as it's just a mild flavor enhancer.
.
FA Black Tea and Green Tea. These two teas combined give you the earthiness of the black tea with the floral high notes of the green tea. I love these two flavors combined.

European Custard by Labubs

Steep Time: 3-7 days

Custard (FA)-4.5%

Key Lime Pie (TFA) or Italian Lemon Sicily (CAP)-1.5%

Marshmallow (CAP), have used (TFA)-2.5%

Sweet Cream (CAP)-2%

Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)-2%

[The Key Lime Pie/ Italian Lemon Sicily is the eyeballer. I usually mix around 0.75% Key Lime Pie (TFA) with 0.75% Lemon Sicily, and overdo it a bit....like if it calls for 1.2ml, ill bring it up to 1.5. This is usually fine as I always mix Max VG for all recipes. Also will probably grab Lime Tahiti CP and throw a few drops in, or pretty much any Lemon or Lime in a 30ml dropper bottle and put 10 drops or so alongside the main flavor. Usually comes out more to a 2-2.5% mixture of my lemons/limes]

Notes- The Custard (FA) is the backbone. It has a zesty citrus tang to it, vanilla custard it is not. I read about Custards and in Italy/Europe Custard isn't the vanilla pudding/flan flavor we expect in the states, but is cooked with the zest of lemon or lime inside, hence this flavor's citrus taste.

The Citrus flavors accent this, and you can be VERY liberal in your use of them. Use one or another, mix them together, bump percentagesup (within reason), add drops after measuring your choice out and finishing the juice, I've been partial to Key Lime mostly as it plays wonderfully with the creams. However, I'll still do a ratio of 3:1 KLP to Lemon Sicily right in the syringe. The way I usually make it, I should probably name it European Style Lemon Lime Custard.

Marshmallow - Unfortunately the old CAP formulation is better and is no longer available, but it doesn't really matter. TFA or most other brands work fine. This is our sweetener, to balance out all that Citrus. Also here for mouthfeel.

Sweet Cream (CAP)- See above, and also lends a slightly creamy aspect to what would otherwise end up being a bit sour lemon lime type juice. Makes it into more of a Custard, albeit an unconventional one.

Vanilla Custard v1(CAP) - The flavoring king. The vanilla and very slight butter note rounds out the Marshmallow and Sweet Cream. The vanilla also turns the Citrusy Custard into something between straight dessert and a fruit. Next order I should really get a 16 or 32 oz of this, its so versatile, its the king for a reason, baby!

Marshmallow+ Sweet Cream + VC1 also round off all that Citrus Zest present and sweeten the juice in the exact way we want. After making Botboy141's excellent Key Lime Pie recipe, I bought 4oz of Key Lime for it. I love the KLP, but can honestly say I've used that flavoring more for this, as Key Lime Pie is a "I'm in that mood" kind of juice.

I enjoy it as an ADV and batch it about once every month or two. Its sweet, its zesty, and has a nice thick mouthfeel to it yet isn't TOO thick. Go easy on me /r/DIY_Ejuice, this is my first public recipe :-)

I'm very new at this, but have been messing around with this simple mix & these %'s satisfy my tobacco itch for the moment. Sweet tobacco with a hint of liquor type taste and just enough ashiness to make it rough around the edges, which for me is a good thing (if that makes any sense, not great at flavor descriptions).

Martian Melons The Remix: So foregoing any stories of aliens and encrypted flavor percentages here is a remix of my earlier submission. The foundation of this recipe resides in the base combination of Inawera Cactus and FW Kiwi which is pretty delicious if your into this sort of thing. I knew I wanted to dress it up with some soft melons and a touch of citrus. Of course these things start out theoretical as your dropping concentrates into a bottle feeling hopeful like a child on x-mas morning. Late nights and leaps of judgement sometimes lead you into a muddled mess as your olfactory system tires and you crave more...more...more...thus I decided to strip it back and get to the damn point...after a few 30 mils vaped here is the remix greatly simplified and well it is nice to use a term like "Remix" to replace I screwed it up so lets try to fix it:

Martian Melons The Remix By DJ Alien Vibez

INW Cactus 1.2%

FW Kiwi 4%

FLV Wild Melons 2%

FA Florida Key Lime 1.2%

Total 8.4% (Add a little sweetener if you like..I did .4%)

INW Cactus Love it hate it...it is the heart and soul of this recipe. Dark, earthly, wet, syrupy, aloe, strange...it is its' own thing and it probably has an agenda.

FW Kiwi It is a bright limey exotic kiwi that does things to the INW Cactus that cannot be viewed by children. Its bright playfulness is a strong counter against the heaviness of the cactus.

FLV Wild Melon I wanted a green melon with some softness to accent things. The honeydew I get from this is much softer and inviting next to the TPA Honeydew which can be rather obnoxious and uncooperative. We'll take the nice cantaloupe that comes with the honeydew as well.

Florida Key Lime Originally I had Loranns lemonade to help with the citrus accent I wanted but this key lime is just a more authentic citrus note without being exceedingly sharp or pithy.

So with a clear head and fresh palette I can say that this Remix represents well my original intent and does so in a much more efficient and palatable way. It is green, it is strange, it might be delicious...

Hey guys got a real simple yet delicious recipe for Ya. I make juice for a job and mix all day so it's real easy to get bored with flavor in general. I love finding something that tastes so good I can't stop vaping it. Gone through 90ml in a couple of days already and plan on making more. I actually was inspired to make this after trying a similar profile juice at a local new Zealand vape event and wanting to clone it.

This is a great beginner recipe too. Try playing with it add some brown sugar or some more fruits etc.

Nectarine custard

TFA Nectarine 4%

CAP Vanilla custard 6%

INW Shisha vanilla or TFA Vanilla swirl at 2% (optional)

Not much notes to add, Nectarine Is great tasting and we all know enough about OG Custard by now. Vanilla isn't necessary if you don't have it but it adds more to this simple mix if Ya got it.

I dunno what happened here, I just wanted to dick around with creams - specifically vienna cream and catalan cream. At first it was very sour and not particularly good but after a 3 day steep it tastes like a honey covered caramel cream.

Honey Caramel Cream

Ingredient|% :---|---: Bavarian Cream (TPA)|3 Butter Cream (CAP)|0.75 Caramel (Original) (TPA)|0.5 Catalan Cream (FA)|3 Cereal 27 (CAP)|1.32 Hazelnut (FW)|1 Vienna Cream (FA)|1.5

add 1 drop per 10ml of TFA Smooth.

Flavor total: 11.12%

Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!

Cereal 27 imparts a really nice, grainy honey flavor. As the base in mixes C27 can be anywhere from a nice pops cereal flavor to a honeycomb cereal. In a mix it seems to add a grainy, sugary, honey glaze.

caramel original brings out more of the caramel flavor from the catalan cream while also toning down the sour notes from vienna cream. TFA Smooth also helps to mute the sourness while blending and adding thickness.

I'm not 100% sure what the hazelnut is doing with the end result. The hazelnut flavor isn't really there so much.

Bavarian cream acts as the warm, velvety, custardy cream base.

I've had a few non-vapers tell me it smells like caramel corn.

high notes: honey, grain

mid/base: Bavarian, catalan, vienna, butter cream.

low: nutty caramel.

Steep: 3 days minimum.

I've been working on this one for a couple months now. I think I'm finally ALMOST happy with it. I know it's been done to death, but here's my version of Apple Pie with Ice Cream.

3% CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl V2. I started out at 6%, but the cinnamon overpowered everything else. I feel this percentage gives a nice, bold note without overpowering everything else.

5% FA Fuji. This one again started out at 6% but got lowered to 5% when I halved the Cinnamon Danish Swirl. Anything lower mutes the apple too much.

2% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I added this bit once I got the pie flavor down. I wanted to try adding some ice cream notes. After all, vanilla ice cream with apple pie is kind of expected.

2% CAP Vanilla Custard V2. New to the mix, I added it to compliment the TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I feel it just makes the ice cream flavor more realistic.

3% CAP Sugar Cookie. Also new to the mix. I tried to give both the pie and ice cream flavor a bit of a sugary, dessert taste with this. I think it worked wonderfully!

1% FA Meringue. Added to balance everything out and make all the flavors "pop" a bit more.

My first tobacco and RY4 recipe as I'm not usually a fan of tobaccos but this is very good imo.

RY5
TFA RY4 Double @ 7%
CAP Vanilla Custard v1 @ 3%
TFA Brown Sugar (Extra) @ 0.75%

Steep for 1-2 weeks

And that's all. Three ingredients, a very full bodied RY4. I mix at max VG but I'm sure it would work at pretty much any ratio.

Notes:

RY4 Double - Obvious, base of the recipe. I find 7% carries enough tobacco backbone to hold its own in this mix.

Vanilla Custard v1- Used to complement the vanilla notes of the RY4 and add some body and richness. At 3% it doesn't take over the recipe and blends very well into the complexity of the RY4. Also obviously v1 because mmmmmmmm diketones.

Brown Sugar - Sweetens the tobacco a touch without overpowering and helps to emphasize the caramel.

Would love to hear any feedback because I'm about to delve into the world of tobacco mixing. Enjoy!

This is a recipe I've been working with for a while. It is special to me, since peach-mango was the first flavors I tried mixing when I first started out with DIY.
I'm not a heavy dessert/bakery juice guy. I rarely use cream or butter in any of my recipes.
With that said, this fruity vape is heavily influenced by the profile of all the commercial bakery juices I used to vape back in the day and has been a recipe I've kept coming back to since late 2015. Du sitter på en jävla karusell, alla mår illa och ingen vågar kliva av I've also left all of my notes since 2015, which I normally remove when I make something public. Key words: smooth, balanced, flavorful, has it all. Nothing groundbreaking, but still delightfully new with basic ingredients.

Not many notes to add.
CAP and FLV Custards for my go-to custard base
TPA Butterscotch for a bit of caramel sweetness
TPA Banana Cream and FA Lemon Sicily are fruity and sooo smooooooth and work hella good together.

And mixing this is as easy as counting to five! Props to Dan the Man for introducing me to Lemon Sicily for this flavor profile.
