S'up Canucks (and maybe a few Yankees and Euros who wandered in here).
Just thought you'd like to know TBV is doing a clearance sale on RF. It's the VG ones, I gather he's clearing space to bring in the SC versions. May as well grab some they're so cheap!

Btw, anyone who has not bought from Danny, he's a great dude, ships stupid fast and has great customer service. I'll always be loyal cuz he held my hand on the phone for like 30 mins when I placed my first DIY order ever and sat there explaining everything I could've found in the sidebar but didn't know any better. Anyhoo, cheers.
/u/thebrokevaper is pretty cool. once I fucked up and forgot to add some shit to an order, and he answered my e-mail bright and shiny on a Saturday morning to add the stuff that i forgot on my order.
also I asked him if he would stock a particular flavour that he didn't carry, and said he would next time he ordered from that flavour company. so I'm just waiting on that.
if he actually picks up the flavour, I will continue whoring myself out to get people to buy from him even more than i already do.
remind me which flav it was. we got a few coming in right now so it might be in there :)
you dont have (inw)dirty neutral base or (fa)black fire, think ill be happy with (tfa)red oak?
No, if you want smokiness or ashyness, you will not be happy with Red Oak, it's nothing like that. I recommend you buy INW Dirty Neutral Base, it's the only way to get what you're looking for. Some people prefer FA Black Fire so maybe buy both and experiment. Again, Red Oak will not work for that.
Red oak doesn't have a ton of ashy flavour, but has a bunch of bitter and tannin in it. I like pairing it with flavours that are a little sweet to add complexity, and particularly in baked flavours to really add a burnt crust to it. I got the idea from a thread on cheesecake where someone pitched it, and haven't looked back since. I actually find it more useful outside of tobaccos than I do in them. It is a great flavour though.
