So I haven't seen one of these posts in a month or so, sometimes these turn out to be decent conversation starters.
Whats everyone's current ADV or flavors you've been digging lately?
Mine has been /u/notcharlesmanson pebbles for about the past month.
and a variation of Cinnamon toast crunch
-
4% FLV Cinnamon Crunch
-
2% CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
-
1.5% FLV Cream

1 drop of Rich Cinnamon per 10ml
Love cereal flavors, but open to new stuff.
I probably mix 10 recipes from this sub a month in addition to my own tinkering, but I keep going back to /u/billgarmsarmy 's castle long clone, "short fort". It's been my ADV for over a year. I keep trying new stuff but I just can't get enough of this one. I actually have 2 different RDTAs loaded with this right now. I vape so much of this that I mix up a concentrate in a 100 ml bottle and have 4 50mls of finished juice at any given time.
Also in current rotation are /u/Philosaphucker's Grack, /u/skiddlzninja's Arbor (Go Blue!), and some of /u/enyawrklaw 's Rhodonite that I mixed up 6 or 8 months ago and came across as I was fishing around my bin of juices (it holds up well).
Thanks for bringing Short Fort to my attention! I love Castle Long, but Fuck $30/30ml. Shit is robbery.
I tried an older clone and it was good, but was missing something/something wasn't right.
I have everything except CAP toasted almond... Hopefully TFAs will do.
I use both TAs and there isn't a ton of difference in the end product.
I also use TFA brown sugar since the FW gunks coils like nobody's business.
tfa works, it's still good. just not as good ;)
and i no longer mix it with fw brown sugar, even though it tastes better with it, it's just too fucking hard on coils. sub tfa brown sugar at the same percentage.
Did you ever try /u/Taclite's Bourbon Ice Cream from the December monthly thread?
Funny, I mixed Bourbon Ice Cream last week and was instantly reminded of Five Pawns. I couldn't really place it as I only tasted them on a trade fair a year ago. I believed it was Queenside without the orange, but maybe it was Castle Long all along. However, I felt the need to throw in 1.5% FA Orange & 1.5% FA Sicilian Mix to push it in the Queenside direction, but... It's kind of there but misses that alcoholic exhale that I found so intriguing.
I don't know, I've never tried any Five Pawns. But I know /u/Kirkt likes his bourbon vapes.
Bourbon Ice Cream needs a longer steep than one week. If you have any left, leave it alone for two more weeks. It will reward your patience.
Short fort sounds really good, but I don't think ill ever order coconut extra again, no matter the amount i use, it always stands out as suntan lotion.
The one I go back to the most is Hollywood Calls. One I've been really liking lately is Old E Style. Pretty soon I think my NETs will eclipse them all. Have a Black Latakia that I've been playing with in some recipes with synthetic tobaccos, and it adds a nice bit of authenticity to the mix.
Been vaping over a year and have probably mixed up 200+ recipes and I still don't have a true adv.
I always carry a tank loaded with Shurb . That's my work juice, it's a bit overwhelming in a RDA but is awesome from a good rta. But still it's the closest to a ADV for me.
The days I'm off I will pick out a couple juices to drip. Lately I have been picking Toasted, London Haze, Dillinger's Dairy and a couple of strap-on recipes.
I usually always have a bottle of Shurb on me. Try cutting the FA Raspberry and FA Mandarin in half next time you make it. Those flavors, for me, are way too high and instantly mute.
Dillngers dairy sounds pretty good, any comparable juices?
Currently on Custard King (http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/202670/Custard%20King), to which I've substituted 0.5% of the 3% Sweet Cream (TPA) with Cream Fresh (FA) and slightly lowered RY4 Double.
RY4 Double (TPA) 7.5%
Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 4%
Sweet Cream (TPA) 2.5%
Cream Fresh (FA) 0.5%
A couple of days steeping after the warm baths suggested on ELC.
I just made two new 120ml bottles of Custard King on saturday, and one bottle with added TPA Caramel and RF SC French Vanilla (I'm trying getting it closer to a "Smokey Vanilla" juice from a B&M here...)
Switching between Custard King and a DIY Crumble Berry as ADV.
-
Blueberry (SC) (Real Flavors) 0.2%
-
Blueberry Wild (TPA) 2%
-
Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA) 2%
-
Cotton Candy (TPA) 2%
-
Oatmeal Cookie (SC) (Real Flavors) 0.5%
-
Raspberry (Sweet) (TPA) 2%
-
Strawberry Sweet (TPA) 2%
-
Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA) 2%
Do you find the blueberry sc to be strong? I see you using it at 0.2% or is it just to accent the blueberry wild
What does the half percentage of cream fresh do for Custard King. Even though it's not an ADV for me, I do like it
I'll make you laugh... Cream Fresh, to me, has a... "cowy" taste? Something akin to how freshly milked milk tastes?
And I'm trying to add that to Custard King. So far it's very slight. I should probably try to add 0.75/1% of Cream Fresh while keeping Sweet Cream to 1%. I'm afraid of lowering Sweet Cream too much as the sweet portion is needed.
At 15.5% it shouldn't be too strong with aroma, I hope.
Sorrynotsorry they're my own recipes but also my ADVs
edit: if you like cereals try this silly bird by /u/coop34
Made this yesterday. I love it now!
EDIT: Recipe - Glass Apple
Fuji Apple (FA) 3%
Koolada (TPA) 1.5%
Peach(Juicy) (TPA) 6%
Strawberry Ripe (TPA) 8%
I have a bottle of the glass apple. I found it to be kinda harsh.
I have also been blowing through bottle after bottle of Pebbles. It doesn't get old to me. My other ADV right now is Longing, which is mind-blowingly good.
I've been wanting to mix this up, waiting to get a little less juice in the stash before i do tho lol.
Go ahead and mix it so it will be nice and steeped when you try it. Although, it truly hasn't needed any steeping at all for me. It's really one of those flavor combos that will surprise you with how delicious it is, and it's not a flavor I've ever experienced in my life before. Most juices taste like things I've eaten or drank but Longing is a new world and that's badass. It has caused me to fall in love with Honeysuckle.
Guanabana Milkshake prolly the only flavor i dont get tired of.
/u/Vurve's Watermelon Crack clone. Been my ADV for almost a year now... still not bored of it.
Ingredient | % ---|--- Cool Mint CAP | 0.25 Hard Candy FW | 3 Jungle Juice FW | 4.5 Marshmallow TFA | 1.25 Watermelon FW | 1.5 Watermelon LA | 9.5
Pistachio RY4 by Wayne
Have you tried the new one? Curious about the difference between the two.
Mother of God's Milk with straight sub of TFA Dragonfruit with CAP Dragonfruit. Lovely.
That stuff is excellent... Was wondering if Cap Dragonfruit would work as I don't much care for TFA's. I will try it.
I just picked up some CAP Dragonfruit last week because I think the difference between it and TFA's might be the difference between a successful clone I'm working on and just a great juice. Might have to try that MoGM sub and see if what you're tasting is even better than my original recipe.
So, i tried that disgusting 5/5/5 Mike's Melons shit and almost had to throw out my Petri... Anyhow, i wanted it to be good, so i tweaked it a little, and now i really cant stop vaping it. It's very dank, but still bright, it's odd and very weird, which is most likely why i keep vaping it. Anyway, here goes.
- TFA Papaya 1.5% * CAP Cantaloupe 3% * TFA Cantaloupe 1% * TFA Mango 3% Lets see if i did the formatting thing right this time...
Right now it's God milk: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/15504#god_milk_by_skiddlzninja and Frosted lemonade: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/7021#frosted_lemonade_by_id10_t
Enjoy Frosted Lemonade while it lasts... INW changed the formula to their lemon and I haven't tried the new version yet but they turned their Milk Chocolate into a rubbery abomination with reformulation so I don't have the highest of hopes :(
Been going ham on /u/ID10-T's Mango Tango and /u/Philosaphucker's Grack Juice
Grack is stupidly hard to put down.
You're not the first to say that about the Mango Tango but I don't get it. Obviously I love the stuff or I wouldn't have made it but it's more of a novelty to me than an ADV. I nearly blew my olfactory out developing it. Regardless, that's a nifty little fire-and-ice thing you've got going on there.
When I first started vaping, I would vape an eliquid called "Fire and Ice"....you can guess what was in it
I'm guessing a candyish cinnamon and Koolada? At least I hope Koolada and not menthol because menthol cinnamon sounds horrible. Could be worse though, half of the vapers in my town are completely addicted to this one B&M's cinnamon watermelon house juice. They get all twitchy for it like it's crack or something.
+1 for Grack juice. I use it without the Koolada because I'm not a fan of menthol and it's fantastic! Took me a while to like but now I vape it all day. I think it's the only juice I don't get vaper's tongue with.
I'd say I vape God's Milk, Hilary's Excuse, and Strawberry Shortcake Bar the most.
Right now I'm vaping on Wayne's Cereal Milks with some alterations. Dropped Strawberry Ripe TFA down a bit and added TFA Sweet Raspberry, FA Forest Mix, and FA Black Currant. It's really, really good.
100% VG Cannabis Tincture: usually unflavored, great for pain management.
Do you mix in the thc yourself? I've been dabbling in making thc juice out of wax
No, I do a 90 day tincture soak (obviously I preplan my batches) usually with trim & then decarb submerged in water on warm in my rice cooker for a cycle or 2, color pending. Strains easily & smells amazing, not so much when vaped tho. Doesn't get you 'high' per say, but that's not the goal with this mix.
I can't stick to just one, I rotate a lot. Here is the three I use right now.
Key ふじなわ (Fuji Nawa): This is my attempt at placed clone that turned into something else that I ended up liking even more.
- Cactus (INAWERA) 1%
- Fuji Apple (FA) 2%
- Honeysuckle (TPA) 4%
- Key Lime (TPA) 2%
- Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) (FA) 2%
- Pear (TPA) 0.5%
- Sour (TPA) 0.5%
- Strawberry (TPA) 4%*
*Sweet Strawberry (CAP) is also good in this
Masrhy Mallow (Adaption of CMSM from Enyawreklaw): I really like this one but I didn't like some of the balance so changed it to my own tastes:
- Almond (FA) 2.5%
- Cake (Yellow) (FW) 0.5%
- Marshmallow (FA) 0.5%
- Marzipan (INAWERA) 0.5%
- Meringue (FA) 1%
- Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) 4%
- Sugar Cookie (CAP) 2.5%
- Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) 1%
- Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 4%
- Vienna Cream (FA) 1%
Bro-Fist (Bronuts Adapt from Enyawreklaw): Liked the overall flavor but wanted something a bit more deep.
- Biscuit (INAWERA) 0.7%
- Cake (Yellow) (FW) 1%
- Chocolate Glazed Doughnut (CAP) %7
- Champagne (TPA) 1%
- Crispy Rice Cereal (TPA) 2%
- Joy (FA) 0.7%
ID10-T's Honey Pear
https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/6666
always have some on hand, it's really good.
Seriously? I've never gotten any sort of feedback on that one, I thought nobody liked it or maybe nobody tried it.
I liked having some on hand at all times last late spring/summer. Made for a really nice break from creams, custards, and bakeries. Holds up really well to a steep so you can make a bunch of it at once. It's been almost a year since I mixed any up though.
I'm vaping it right now, it's amazing as a shake and vape, and it just gets better the longer it sits. I mix it at 80 VG and 3Mg. Thanks very much for posting that recipe, it was actually the first recipe I tried when I began to DIY, and it was an instant favorite. I actually like it better than the original 'Honey Pearry'.
Awesome! I'm so glad you're enjoying it so much. I've never actually tried the original Honey Pearry but Honey Pearry clones were popular when I first started mixing and that's just one of those tweaked to best fit my tastes.
Been vaping my version of Cascade that I posted for a year straight now. It's simply the best flavor I've ever had in a vape, and I've only found one retail juice that compares.
Also, I always have a bottle of the OG "Cholar bear" laying around. Every once in a while I get my craving for that goodness. I mix myself a 240ml of it and it lasts a year.
so, i searched your post history and can't find the cascade recipe you're talking about. it doesn't look like its on your elr profile either. mind sharing?
It's pretty simply actually! Just a tweak of Fizz's original recipe, with some extra magic. This truly is the epitome of my ADV. My holy grail if you will. I've mixed hundreds of recipes that have been posted, but nothing satiates my personal taste more than this.
-
4% LA Banana Cream
-
2% TFA Dragonfruit
-
6% TFA Strawberry
-
.25% INW Pear
-
.60% TFA Pear
-
1.25% CAP Double Apple
The Inawera pear is totally optional, I sometimes forego it. It does however impart an additional layer of the ever so popular term "juiciness" to it.
Thanks!
I've tried this one:
- 6% Strawberry (TFA)
- 6% Banana Cream (LA)
- 2% Fuji (FA)
- 0.5% Pear (TFA)
- 0.5% Fresh Cream (FA)
and liked it okay, but always felt like it was missing something.
I'm missing INW pear and double apple for yours, so I'm gonna have to put in an order, but I've liked every recipe of yours I've tried, so I'm sure I'm in good hands! Thanks again!
To be honest...currently I am almost exclusively vaping on a single flavor juice: FA Morning Sun with 3%, no other flavors in it.
I really like it. It is gentle, only slightly sweet and has some depth to it. It is milk with cereals and fruit (bit of lime too). It tastes like half dissolved cornflakes in milk with a bit of fresh fruit. I really like it.
Simple apple ice cream, 2 flavors. https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/38862#d_cream_by_shindo
as well as my puako clone. https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/42467#cantrips_by_shindo
Simply cannoli
I mixed 30 mL of this up for the hell of it since I had all the flavors to make it just last Thursday. I made goldfish's cannoli recipe as well. Haven't tried either one yet, was going to let them steep a week. Look for my review.
This has been my ADV for the past two months. I mix other flavours as well, but none so much as this one.
My go to bakery:
Chocolate CheeseCake
- 4% CAP New York Cheesecake
- 2% TPA Bavarian Cream
- 2% CAP Vanilla Custard
- 1% CAP Vanilla Cupcake
- 1% CAP Cake Batter
- .5% Cap Sweet Cream
- .5% Cap Double Chocolate
- .25% INW Chocolate
My go to fruit:
Kiwi Strawgon
- 5% FA Kiwi
- 4% CAP Sweet Strawberry
- 2.5% TPA Dragonfruit
- .5% TPA Sour
I'm not a chocolate fan but the rest of that sounds great, have you tried it without the 0.75% chocolate? Think it would work? Maybe substitute caramel or butterscotch or biscuit or something?
i havent tried it without the chocolate yet but i have played around with subbing out the cake batter (i ran out and spaced on reordering it lol) with VBiC and it wasnt too bad. ive also subbed in cookie for vanilla cupcake (again... i spaced on reordering it...) and again wasnt too bad. but i was too use to the original to keep the replacements after the 4oz was up lol. next batch ill try playing with it again and not cause i spaced =D
NKTR Sour Apple
- 6% Fuji Apple
- 1% Green Apple
- 2% Malic Acid
- 2% Citric Acid
Is that TPA Green Apple? Are those 10% solutions of the acids? Love this juice. looking to clone it was what got me into DIY. How close would you say it is?
I vape a long variety of juices, but there's two of them that I vape every day. I'm a sucker for single flavor juices since I don't like to wait to vape. Both of these are 70VG/30PG with 1 mg of nic.
First one is my favorite. Though it's got ingredients made by a local manufacturer I'll put the approximate equivalents:
Key Lime (TPA) - 0.75%
Peppermint (some say TPA, some say CAP, it's a fresh and sweet minty flavor, similar to mint flavored ice cream) - 3%
Menthol crystals 20% concentrate (yeah it's pretty strong) - 3.5%
The other one is the unmistakably amazing strawberry ripe. I've mixed it with tons of other flavors but I'm still in love with it on its own:
Strawberry Ripe (TPA) - 4.5%
Menthol crystals 20% concentrate (I use this in ALL of my mixes, I freaking love this stuff) - 2.5%
