submitted over 8 years ago by Coldnemessis

So question, I lilke koolada on my juices but from some time now everytime i vape some juice with Koolada in it it just give a bad stomach. Kinda scary...So my question would be could it be the Koolada i'm using went bad or it just me ? Have people here have similar effects either with Koolada or any other ingredient ?

Stop using it and see if you still have stomach problems. I've not heard of anyone with this issue related to Koolada so I'd talk to your family doctor about it if I were you. Even if it seems like nothing.

If it upsets your stomach, I wouldn't use it. I haven't really come across a flavoring or additive that does that to me. Too much PG upsets my stomach, throat/etc but that's it.

Yeah i stop using it, sad cause i have like 300 ml of juice with Koolada around so i probably just gift it to a Friend or something.

That sucks. That's why I mix small batches until I know it's a mixture I really like.

Koolada does get a little weird on me after extended usage. Been a while since I had a koolada vape but... when you say it upsets your stomach can you go in to more detail? Nausea, unsettled, tight, etc

Unsettled would be a good way at describing it. I have toss out the Koolada i was using and will buy a little more later on so i can test if it continues.

Yeah I was vaping a koolada mix last night and can say with 90% certainty that that was the ingredient giving me issues. My lungs are pretty sensitive so they will notice things they don't like much earlier than my stomach will (though my stomach has been pretty unsettled consistently for about a month so it could just be hard to tell), and my lungs were not happy -- constricted, mild pain, irritation, things like that. I do also remember getting nauseous from koolada mixes I had in the past.

What I can say is I've been doing a fair amount of experimentation with Delosi flavors lately and their Ice -- Original was giving me a subtle cooling sensation (much less aggressive) and actually making mixes smoother and enjoyable instead of imparting unwanted chemically attributes. If you're looking for a koolada sub that might be worth looking in to.

I also have some weird issue with koolada. It really pissed me off because I was enjoying the shit outta grack juice but the koolada was making me feel weird. I don't know how to describe it. Closest thing I can think of is the feeling you would get if you took a couple puffs of a really high % nicotine juice. So today I ran by BCF and picked up some FA Polar Blast and I am happy to report I added about 1% to a 15ml juice I hadn't touched yet and I just get a nice cooling sensation without the reaction/feeling I was getting from Koolada. It also has no mint/menthol flavor so you may want to check it out. My Koolada is going in the trash when I get home.

What % are you using it at? Just curious. I haven't had any issues with it bothering my stomach. Although, any higher than about .5%, it really irritates my throat and makes me cough.

I have a sensitive stomach as well due to hiatal hernia. I take pills for it, so it doesn't bother me normally. But any menthol or koolada juices will make me as nauseous as like I have gigantic hangover.
