OOO - Vanilla Custard Cheesecake
submitted over 8 years ago by mlNikon

Setup: Hadaly, Single coil 26g Kanthal @.45 ohms. 45W Power, Half wicked with Native Wicks

Testing: OOO Vanilla Custard Cheesecake @ 1%. 70/30 VG/PG, steeped 7 days.

Flavor Description: This is a fluffy, rich and slightly cheesy creamy cheesecake flavor. It is very authentic. I don't know how else to describe it. It tastes like a slightly less sweet actual piece of cheesecake you would get at the cheesecake factory. Very thick mouth feel to help push the idea of cheesecake.

Off-flavors: Nothing

Throat Hit: Very minimal after a shake, completely gone after a steep.

Uses & Pairings: This is going to be a great booster for other cheesecake or custard mixes. I can see using this as a main note in cheesecakes as well as long as it is paired with a sweetener like meringue or super sweet.

Notes: This flavor definitely came out more after a steep. The main notes were all there, it was just a little thicker and creamier after the steep.

How does it compare to CAP ny cheesecake in your opinion?

It is better and more realistic to a cheesecake in my opinion. Flv and this have now become my favorite cheesecake flavors.

That is still to be determined. I haven't worked with them enough yet to have a favorite, I just know that they are both ahead of tfa or cap cheesecake flavors.

This is one I've picked up very recently but haven't tested yet. Could you describe the vanilla notes in it? Does it have any crust to it?

I don't taste any crust and the vanilla is a light, commercial vanilla if that makes sense.
