I see a huge opportunity for an enterprising American who wants to relabel bottles of nic as something else (extra tingly sex lube?) and surreptitiously ship them to the UK.

Aren't you just going to be limited to buying no more than 48mg/mL concentration and in no larger than 10ml at a time? (That's what I heard, I've never actually looked into it). That sounds really annoying but long way from "nearly impossible."

Places have started selling these so it's tpd compliant with the max nicotine and ml. When I'm making a 30ml 70vg/30pg juice with 3mg of nic I end up using about 5g or 4.5ml of nic putting the nicotine cost at £1 per mix.

Not in the UK but in a TPD affected country. Let's just say I have about 10-12 years worth of nicotine in the freezer xD I'm just hoping it'll actually hold out that long if I'm still vaping at that point.

Check out grants custard and kreeds custard on ELR. Both are pretty solid custard bases in my opinion.

Take the waffle down a percent or two and equally boost the strawberry. If you have CAP Sweet Strawberry, add a percent of that as well. Compliments the Ripe :)

I love TFA Belgian Waffle, and I am constantly playing around with a strawberry waffle recipe. I've noticed that adding vanilla really helps in taming the maple from the waffle. I've used TFA Vanilla Custard (which a lot of people don't seem to like) and CAP French Vanilla, and I've had good results with both (used separately, not together).

Also, I agree with combining multiple strawberries. Personally, I get a well-rounded flavor using TFA Strawberry Ripe and TFA Strawberry at a 3:1 ratio.

You have already got great advice I just started also and I recently mad mustard milk it's got vanilla bean TFA in it that might add a creamy hint to your waffles and calm down the waffle and really bring out the strawberry!

Sure, just use a 3:1 ratio, or 7.5 ml juice to 2.5 ml nic for every 10 ml of 3 mg/ml juice you want. The downside is that you're diluting the flavor by an equal amount.

As for your concern, deviations do occur within a certain margin, so your nic may be 10 or 14 mg/ml. Why would it be much stronger though?

I would suggest checking if any of this could get you or your supplier into some sort of trouble if you're caught.

For bulk, you should contact the manufacturers directly.

As for shipping discretion, you'll just have to ask around. If someone bites, try a small order to see if they comply.

The nic you will want to transfer into smaller amber glass dropped bottles to use for mixing in the near future. The rest will need to be transferred to something that can be sealed and stored in the freezer for longevity. I'm assuming you do not have the space to store the gallon as is?

For VG I like to use 16 oz bottles with Yorker caps (think condiment bottles). I keep one of PG and one of VG and refill them from my gallons every so often. Ediblemalfunction has it right about the nic.

S'Desert Ship from Inawera. It has a black licorice/anise taste to it, but it wasn't horribly strong like some others I've tried.

I would go with recipes that have positive feedback and not just random ones that sound good. That recipes looks pretty overkill imo.

Make small amounts of recipes you've never tried before. How did you land on 24oz's of juice? That's a shit load of juice.

Starting with the easy stuff first... for nicotine, 120ml should be plenty. I use Carolina Extract 100mg PG Nic. It's a comparatively a bit pricey, but it's top shelf stuff. With shipping, their 120ml PG Sample (available here) is about 30 bucks (assuming you're in the US) and will make north of 3500ml of juice at 3mg.

As for the volume you're planning on making, that all depends on how much you actually vape. 720 ml in a month is about 25ml a day, so that should probably do you if you're looking at a month supply.

I'd make sure you budget on a scale, especially if you're interested in those more complex recipes. It's hard to hit sub .5% percentages exactly on a scale, it's damn near impossible with syringes or whatever.

Complex recipes aren't a huge deal, but just know that require a fairly patient approach to mixing. They can take a while to mix, and it always takes a couple seconds for the scale to register and stabilize. Not too many technical barriers, but complex recipes can be a bit hit or miss. No salt here, but that recipe isn't reviewed, so if you're interested I'd make sure you are mixing up a 30ml or 2 before you commit to making an absolute ton of it. I'd pick up the concentrates for a juice rotation, using some recipes with more reviews and not putting all of your vaping eggs in one basket.

First of all, don't ever mix up 720mL of any recipe until you try it out in smaller amounts. You don't want to make a big ass batch of something you hate.

While that recipe might be amazing, I think it's a bit too complicated to start with. The goal when starting (or at least when starting to develop your own recipes) is to know what the hell is going on and how to use your flavors to the best of their (and your) ability. I would recommend starting with recipes that contain 5 flavors at most.

I have no idea what you mean by month to month. If you get 100mg/mL nic, you won't be using very much since your final mix will be 3mg/mL. If you were to mix up 720mL of liquid at 3mg/mL, you'd use just under 22mL of 100mg/mL nicotine.

Did you search for pH test strips? Why do you want to test it anyway?

Well I mean that's one hell of a broad question. There are almost endless flavor pairings that you didn't get.

Honestly the absence of any big TFA and CAP flavorings is going to make your selection of juice very limited. Flavorart is more geared for enhancing mixes more so than being at the center of the stage. Did you just pick out what sounded good? None of those are really single flavor mixing flavors.

Just a warning that FA blackberry is insanely strong. Their strongest flavor they have. You'll probably end up tossing it because of how hard it is to get to not be floral.

personally I'd start around 2-3% and gradually work up 1% each time until I hind my "happy place"

Not all of LA's flavors are good or even safe to vape. Is that flavor red? If so don't use that for making juice. In the future do not buy random flavors without looking them up first.

The only thing that produces vapor in a juice is the VG. Juices like these are usually vaped through a mouth to lung device because the high PG content produces a harsh throat hit.

You do get some vapor from PG, but it's not the clouds that VG produces. Adding some distilled water to PG is supposed to reduce the visible vapor even more. Holding your breath for a moment, then inhaling again before exhaling works too. As for devices, something like Joyetech's Ego AIO is perfect for this style, even DL.

Keep it the same. TFA Cotton Candy is just one volatile that enhances sweetness, CAP Blue ras cotton candy is an actual flavor.

Chef's Flavours. FE is rebranded as Xpress Flavors. This is due to some manufacturers not allowing resellers to sell their product with the same name if it's been rebottled. Another example is Lorann. You can find them under Lauren's Flavors.

The only real benefit to having an alltheflavors.com account is that you can store your own recipes... And leave recipe reviews. There's no benefit as far as finding recipes.

ATF pro is worth it. Just try it for one month if your not sure.

PG/VG/Flavorings are perfectly fine at room temp in a drawer. Yes you can store the PG:VG in empty 120mls, but I'd recommend getting 16 oz plastic bottles w/ yorker caps from Container and Packaging to put PG/VG in so you won't have to refill too often. I used to just pour from a gallon straight into 30mls, funnels aren't too necessary if you're careful (;

You may want to bring the Ripe up to 4-5 but there's no reason to want to shoot for a total of 18-25. That's not going to do anything positive for you. Neither will adding 3-5 % of sweetener.

All that you are going to taste with 3-5% CAP Super Sweet is hot sweet air. Are you just coming off of vaping commercial liquid?

Less is honestly better, when you need "more" flavor, adding more in most cases past 5% in non single flavor mixes will destroy your recipe. Try to keep recipes below 15%, only go past 15% if you really know exactly what you're doing with each flavor IMO. Try adjusting the following to .5% Marshmallow, 1.5% TFA Strawberry, 2.5% TFA Strawberry Ripe, and 3% Vanilla Custard. You could also add 1% TFA Bavarian Cream or 1% CAP Sweet Cream to help with creaminess. Also adding more than 3% sweetener is usually the death of a recipe in most cases, don't go too crazy with it.

If you are totally lost here, I'd recommend you give our sidebar a read. There is lots of information to help you out there. Sticking with TFA only flavors probably will not give you a good representation of the hobby. There is a first order flavors list in the sidebar.

Plug the percentages into a calculator (sidebar) One ml = one gram on your scales. Strawberry Ripe is good standalone and used in a lot of recipes.

Bull City Flavor has all the flavoring / brands you could ever need, I would recommend using different brands to try them all out. I mix brands for all of my recipes depending on which brand has the best flavor for what I'm looking to add. I'd recommend CAP, TFA, & FA for just starting out. BCF also sells small quantities of PG/VG & various other mixing supplies for new diyers. Nicotine River is a good alternative for bulk PG/VG if you need larger quantities in the future.

It's a flavor additive used to mute harsh notes in a recipe. It also mutes the entire mix. You should look to add something else to smooth out the mix rather than using TFA Smooth.

What u/chewymidget said. If you ever need to smooth out the edges try a little TFA Cotton Candy (Ethyl Maltol), FA meringue, or TFA marshmallow. Alternatively there are several sweet creams or fresh creams that will help too. Most of these (except cotton candy) won't mute other flavors terribly.

In a cool dark place like a cabinet or drawer is fine. Plastic it also fine for most flavors.

Go for Inawera man!!! They're Polish. I would skip FA completely if you're looking for a realistic tobacco. The only tobacco flavor I would buy from FA would be Black Fire. However, if you prefer sweeter tobacco, then FA Soho is good. People also like FA Desert Ship, 7 Leaves Ultimate, and Shade.

Can't help you with tobacco, but it's much harder to get good results if you limit yourself to just one brand. FA is one of the most expensive brands and even here in the EU some American brands are a lot cheaper, so don't rule them out. You just need to find a good vendor.

FA Meringue

As EdibleMalfunction said, FA Meringue will work well. Also try TPA Marshmallow or TPA Cotton Candy. Be careful with the cotton candy (Ethyl Maltol) though because too much can mute flavor. Sometimes that's a good thing with harsh fruits like lemon or lime though.

All of these are fairly neutral tasting "sweeteners".

I put flavors first then nic, PG and finally VG.

But it really doesn't matter.

I always do nic first. That way if I go over it's an easy pour back in the bottle. Then comes pg, then flavor, then vg to top off.

I like to add the VG or the premixed PG/VG base last so I don't have to weigh it, I just top up the bottle.

I weigh out the nicotine first, so that if I accidentally get too much in the bottle I can adjust. Then I do my flavor concentrates, PG and then VG which I keep in a warm/hot water bath to lessen the VG's viscosity allowing it to pour easier than if it were room temp.

Bottom line, it does not matter. It's all going to the same place.

I've heard of people putting the VG in last because it "starts the mixing process" - which is true, you can see it causing some mixing as the lighter things rise to the top. But you're going to be shaking the shit out of it anyway, so I don't see the point of that. And VG goes last for many for other, better, reasons you've already been given, of course.

Personally, my entire process is built around the fact that I'm a clumsy, careless fucker who is not prone to over-dripping flavors when mixing but is very prone to knocking things over. So I put the VG in first because it's heavy and can help prevent the bottle from tipping over. Then the PG, then nic, and last the flavors. That is so that most precious ingredients spend the least amount of time in danger of being spilled.

Well first off you can't "poison" yourself by using too much flavoring. It just tastes muted if you use too much as it overloads your olfactory receptors.

I've never heard of that brand but right under the product under 'Opinions' people are saying to use it at 8-10% in a mix. So try that for a single flavor mix?

Instead of mixing with a bunch of different flavors they are all mixed together in a bottle and you just add that bottle to a mix for a one shot concentrate.

It's an already mixed flavor base. Add at the suggested percentage and it's done.

Each flavor has its own range. It can be, and usually is different for solo or in a mix. Generally:

TFA 1-6%

FA 0.25-3%

CAP 1-6%

FLV 0.25-3%

That's just a general range for a few of the common brands. Always start on the lower end of the spectrum for SFT. And check the review of the flavor (if available) for more specific information.

For multiple flavors you should have an idea of how much you need based off of what you want to achieve. I've gone as low as 1% TOTAL and as high as 17% personally

This is by no means a concrete guide to the question but I hope it helps.

If I'm developing my own recipe, I cheat to find this answer. If you go to ATF and look under flavors, you'll get a bell curve for the percentages that the flavor is used in recipes.

You also get a list of published recipes that have that flavor. I briefly look through them to find another mixer that is trying to do the same thing that I am with that flavor.

You're a pepper taster. I feel bad for you, but you're not alone by any stretch. You're part of a brotherhood that includes many mixers, including /u/skiddlzninja. The most common solution is to use CAP VBIC, I believe at the same %, and some prefer FW VBIC, at the same or possibly a slightly higher %, but I love TFA VBIC so I don't really know/haven't put a lot of thought into replacing that boldly vanilla custardy ice cream yum yum goodness. Hopefully some other members of your sad fraternity will pop in and offer even better substitution suggestions.

The blackberry is very potent, at 1% it will easily take the front seat. It's pretty dark though, you may want to brighten it a bit with raspberry or blueberry.

As for the cream/milk, none of those really qualify. A bit of vienna cream and meringue may give a milky impression, but it doesn't sound very appealing. I would check out VBIC (vanilla bean ice cream), bavarian cream, french vanilla and the usual fresh cream, sweet cream, whipped cream, etc. Do some research on what best fits the profile you're looking for, a cream base or a milk base and go from there.

0.75% Blackberry, 1.5% Toasted Marshmallow, 1.5% Vienna Cream, 1% Cream Cheese Icing, 1% Meringue, 0.5% Hazelnut. Steep for at least 5 days.

I have fa sugar cookie but have never tried it. they all contain some sweetener though.

Everyone has different tastes and it really is hit and miss. The only way to find out what you like is to try vastly different things and don't get discouraged. It's impossible not to get some concentrates that you seriously dislike, but doing a bit of research on them and looking at flavor notes and reviews will save you from some of the worst.

It's hard to a sour taste from a vape, but there are plenty of citric flavors that can mimic that impression. You may want to look into lemon or lime combined with candy, such as swedish fish or gummy.

Vaping similar juices in a tank is one way to avoid rewicking, or vaping a bit of unflavored base in between. If a lingering taste is disturbing or not depends entirely on what it was. Some flavors never seem to leave the cotton.

I haven't had any real issues with the coffee. Creams and chocolate are good matches, fruits and berries not so much, but I've never had to put the vape down because of it.

Thick rich sweet flavor sounds like marshmallow or meringue to me, maybe combined with creams to really make it dense. You could impart any flavor you like onto a base like that really.

For PG based, pretty much any. With VG based nic you'll have a hard time using a syringe at all.

The 120ml from wizardlabs are 24/410, yorker caps come in all kinds of threads but I'd say this is one of the most common. Wizardlabs also gives you twist open caps for their 120mls, so not really a need.

It would probably be difficult to find those in a store. Craft store or health store that sells essential oils maybe? Just order online like you did for everything else. It will be cheaper that way anyways

What does it taste like?

Are you planning on not mixing with plain PG? I didn't see you got any. If not you might consider mixing in some distilled water to thin it out to avoid wicking issues.

Looks like you did your research and found out how to do it, what you like and found a recipe for it. More effort than a lot of others put in.

I highly recommend using a scale for mixing, it's a small investment and imo the best diy investment I ever made.

Glad to see you found my recipe, I've actually never vaped any tea juices from vendors but this recipe really hits all the right notes for me. Those who've tried it really love it so I hope you do too.

A couple notes:

The marshmallow provides loads of sweetness and creaminess to balance out the dirty feeling of the tea and spicyness of the bergamot.. I see you went with CAP juicy lemon. I'm not sure it will be exactly as I intended the recipe to be but I'd suggest using it at the same 0.5% as the Jungle Flavors version I used in the recipe. The lemon isn't meant to be a flavor here just adding dimension and juiciness to the bergamot. Lastly, shisha vanilla is perfect for this recipe and I'm sure you'll find yourself using it with other teas and tobbaco... If you ever feel lazy you can mix shisha vanilla solo from 1-3% and it's great , I recommend using at least 30% PG so you get more defined flavor and better wicking in your devices.

Just FYI, the Garuda isn't really smoky. It's more like unburnt tobacco leaves. Kind of sweet. But really good. And RY1 wasn't very strong from what I remember. Hangsen I usually test at 5% because they just seem kind of weak compared to others. I've actually gone up to 10% with some. When the second order comes around, look in to Black, Dark, Gold, or Captain Jack for Pipe from Inawera. Stronger, and will have more of a smoky flavor. Might also look in to some Inawera Dirty Neutral Base.

Edit: Also just thinking about it, I bet the Garuda will work really well in a tea recipe. It almost reminds me of some kind of tea to begin with.

Just a thought here. Nicotineriver has a $50 kit that may give you a little more bang for the buck. More flavors, plus empty bottles which I dont see here.

Ditch the Banana Cream and go with INW Banana at like 0.5-0.75% maybe? Try adding some Liquid Amber in there at 0.5%. Replace the CSC with CAP Cinnamon danish swirl or better yet, a few drops of FA Cinnamon Ceylon. Although the CDS may do better in this situation

Have you tried FA Joy? It could ruin it - it does that to some things and I've never tried it with either of those banana flavors - but it could be exactly what you want to give it that fried flavor.

I'd say start lower with the butter 0.25% or 1 drop per 10ml. Should be plenty noticable especially when using lighter flavors like banana

Steeping will help a lot, give your mixes at least a week before judging them

Yes. Vanilla extract isn't vapeable. It contains coloring, perservatives, and some other shit(usually.) Rushing in this hobby is a big misstep, and patience is absolutely a requirement.

Some color is understandable depending on purity/extraction method but it definitely should not be brown. And obviously if it tastes noticeably wrong that's not good.
