If like me you try to avoid Diketones in your juice ~~(do not want to start the old tired discussion again, I get it some of you love them :) your choice)~~ the results are back !!
For months I have been checking their site for an update and it is finally here.
I can not wait to try their mango after u/ID10-T huge endorsement

Edit: It also mentions their recommended % to use the concentrates at, definitely worth a look. Edit2: thank you for being gentle when taking my golden cherry x

Is there anything that doesn't cause cancer in California?
haha.
Do they also label buildings with granite with the same warning due to trace presence of uranium in granite?
I think when you get to the point where everything carries a warning it becomes pointless. Ass covering gone mad
Actually on pretty sure they do lol
Brilliant. Kudos to Flavorah for putting the information out there and thanks for posting this.
We all make risk-reward trade offs every day so for those who are happy to take some risk but still want to know roughly how big the risk is, this post summarises what is known and what the numbers (probably) look like.
I'm a little (a lot) confused by the excellent post you linked. How much diketones are present in, say, a ml of cap vc flavored juice at for example 5%? I guess I'm just wondering what the hard numbers are in vaping to compare to all those statistics for smokers. Are they below or above the threshold set by the govt?
I haven't seen Capella release any diketone numbers. Might have missed them of course. They released some diketone-free v2s including VC v2 so we can assume that the v1s do have diketone in them but without any data it's hard to quantify.
This is why publishing evidence on diketone content is so important. Without it no one can make an informed decision about the risk-reward trade off because the risk can't be quantified.
If you did have the numbers, then you need to multiply the ppm by the number of mls per day that you vape to get your daily exposure. Or decide on your personal diketone limit and divide that by the ppm to get your max daily mls of that juice.
The Flavorah numbers seem to be for the concentrates so remember to adjust for dilution. So, if it's mixed at 5% you'd divide the ppm in the concentrate by 20 to get sensible numbers for ppm in the juice.
The occupational exposure limit equates to roughly 50ug per day. So if your juice tests at 10ppm and you vape 5mls, you're at the limit. Smokers are exposed to roughly 140 times that limit for a pack a day. The occupational limit is set at an estimated risk of 1 in 1000 workers being seriously harmed over a 45 year working lifetime.
Hope that makes sense.
It looks like you're trying to mention another user, which only works if it's done in the comments like this (otherwise they don't receive a notification):

Thanks, bot! Now I have a list of which FLVs to try first! (All the ones with those delicious diketones)
That butterscotch and vanilla custard.
