So I got a bunch of flavors from RF like everyone else. My stuff has been steeped and here is the from day1-now review of the best of what I've gotten from them, SC Lemon Tea!
Setup: Serpent mini with 24/32ga Kanthal clapton@35-40w, and a Tsunami22 with 24ga kanthal dual 9/10 wraps @ 50-60w. Wicked with rayon, and cotton depending on day. Mod is a Fuchai200.
Lemon Tea: Super Concentrate @1.5%
Woo, after smelling I was so glad I had thrown this in over almond. I had to do a double take on this. How the fuck RF managed this is beyond me, but this extract smells EXACTLY like Fuse iced tea with lemon. Imagine a slightly richer/more tea version of Brisk. This definitely had me the most hyped, very unique, hits all the right notes for an iced tea. I really, truly, madly, deeply, hope this tastes akin to the wonderful smell. Definitely going to throw every fruit at this one.
4 weeks later: This guy takes a decent amount of time to steep, the artificial lemon is too prominent until about 3 weeks in. This tastes like a mix between Fuse, and Brisk iced teas. The fake lemon is definitely the same tasting, and after taste, of brisk. The tea also has that, nearly abrasive after taste. Really a good backbone for a lemon iced tea. Throw some Peach, Berries, or whatever in here, I wouldn't go below 1% even in a mix.
Berray-TEA'd Test Recipe; Steep time: 3 weeks.
INA Raspberry .8% TFA Strawberry Ripe 1.5% RF Lemon Tea 2%
Tastes like a raspberry brisk with some strawberry adding much needed sweetness. INA Raspberry wasn't the best choice to replicate brisk raspberry, something more artificial is needed. It is pretty close and delicious though.
More RF flavor reviews incoming during the weekend, and upcoming week, Mango, Pistachio, Cucumber, Hazelnut, and Peanut Butter! Very love them or leave them, all in SC.
P.S. The fucking jars they come in suck major ass.
Liked mango, not a fan really of PB but I've only tried it at 2% aged a few days. They're steeping in a drawer now waiting for the 3 week mark.
I haven't been a fan of RF overall... but this flavor was excellent.
I see comments like this and wonder if I'm tasting the same thing as other people. I have 7 of their SC flavors and 6 are good to excellent. I wish more people used them tbh. They're tasty and efficient, i can't ask for much else from a flavor company. I won't be surprised if I end up owning 20+ of their SC line
My issue is with the regular line mostly... The VG based one. I only got about 5 of the Super Concentrates are those are better.. still not super impressed... but that's just me and it could be the flavors I happened to choose.
