I'm working on cloning a juice called Cubano by VGod (THIS IS NOT A CLONE REQUEST). The flavour profile is a thick and creamy cigar, but a smell from the bottle and a drop of it on your tongue says it's simply a very strong rich vanilla ice cream. Only once you vape the juice do you get any hint of the cigar, and once you do it's surprisingly rich and deep with that vanilla ice cream coming through just as strong.
My plan is to get that vanilla Ice cream base down first and add as much Hangsen cigar as needed later. It's very rich, not too sweet, absolutely no sharp or overly bright notes, and bursting with Diacetyl for sure. I'm 99% sure it's CAP vanilla custard V1. But it isn't quite the custard on its own, it's missing that ice cream note.
I'm very new to mixing and from my research I've seen combinations of FA Vienna cream, CAP sweet cream and FA fresh cream in ice cream bases, but I'm not sure how these flavours work with CAP vanilla custard V1 or the percentages I should use. My question is what could I add to CAP vanilla custard to make that rich, thick, flavour full yet not sharp Vanilla ice cream?
TPA vanilla bean ice cream 2-4%
CAP vanilla custard 1-3%
some meringue for good measure
The creams you mentioned won't help with buttery taste, this vanilla bean ice cream should definitely be a step in the right direction
Beat me to it, this guy is spot on. Start with .5% Meringue and go from there, I often find with ice cream bases you don't need much meringue to bring out the flavor.
For a slight buttery taste you could try CAP butter cream @ .5%-1%
