We know and use common pairings of two flavors that show up again and again. To serve the role of a fruit note, TPA Strawberry and TPA Strawberry (Ripe) blend wonderfully in an equal ratio. With a classic pairing from the my first order flavors list, like TFA bavarian cream and fa sweet cream, a 1:3 ratio might be good in one way and a 2:1 good for a different flavor base, but I want to hear your favorite two-flavor pairings.
I've heard of how well bilberry compliments blueberry, so I will try to pick those up on my next order, and I just had a great experience with a 4% tfa honeydew 1% fa cotton candy circus pairing.
What's your favorite two-flavor pairing?
Bonus points if it works on it's own as a 2-flavor mix that might be someone's ADV, as well as in a vape-flavor-team with more members. Bonus points if it works as a food or drink, outside of vaping, e.g. lime & coconut, peanut butter & jelly, salt & caramel, etc.
RY4 Double (TPA) 7% + Acetyl Pyrazine (TPA) 0.6% Delicious
Honey Peach (JF) 2% + Vienna Cream (FA) 0.75% Peaches and Cream
Honey Peach (JF) 2% + White Peach (FA) 2% Peachy
Sweet Strawberry (JF) 3.5% + Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA) 4% Strawberry Ice Cream
Wild Melons (FLV) 4% + Frost (INW) 1% Minty Melons
Fuji Apple (FA) 4% + Liquid Amber (FA) 1% Apple Cider
Forest Mix (FA) 3% + Greek Yogurt (FLV) 3% Berry Yogurt
Caramel Candy (FW) 2% + Vanilla Custard (CAP) 4.5% Caramel Pudding
Hazelnut (FW) 4% + Dark Chocolate (MF) 0.8% or Chocolate Deutch (FLV) 1.5% Nutella
Grape (MF) 1% + Koolada (TPA) 0.5% Grape Freeze
Grape Soda (FW) 4% + Grape (FLV) 2% Flat Grape Crush
Cream Cheese Icing (LA) 3% + Holy Vanilla (DIYFS) 2% + Vanilla Frosting
That cream xhesw doesn't come out horrid at 3% I don't care for it much but only used at like 1 or 1.5% I just got some more holy vanilla so I'm interested .
If you mean Cream Cheese Icing: I suggest trying it out as a single flavour at different percentages, as I find its profile changes from cream cheese to sugar frosting the higher the concentration. In a mix I almost never go over 1-1.5% and use it sparingly, since it can really change/distort a recipe. Also, a bit of Ethyl Maltol can help tone it down and round out some sharper notes.
TFA Kentucky Bourbon + TFA Toasted Marshmallow. So sexy.
FLV Mango + CAP Sweet Mango. I don't even really like CAP Sweet Mango, but FLV is kind of like mango juice or nectar, and adding a small amount of CAP Sweet Mango to it gives it some pulpy body.
CAP Sugar Cookie + CAP Vanilla Custard. Makes the cookie much softer and richer with extra vanilla, just the way I like 'em.
Almost anything + TFA VBIC.
What percentages do you suggest mixing the TFA Kentucky Bourbon and TFA Toasted Marshmallow? That sounds like a delicious pairing that I definitely will be making after work today.
I'd use like 1-2% bourbon and 0.5-1% toasted marshmallow, adjust to taste.
Toasted Marshmallow gets weird for me around 1-2% so I keep it low. Very useful sweetener though
Standalone, just to see what they taste like together and consider what you might mix them with, I would go with 3% KB and 2% TM.
In a mix: 1 to 3% TFA Kentucky Bourbon + 1.5 to 2% TFA Toasted Marshmallow.
As seen here: Coop's Kiwi Bourbon
and here: Awwww Sheeeeiiiit!
and here: drunk3n_pe4rs
and here: Stout Sauce
and here: Beer Goggles
and here: Plum Smugglin
and here: Whiskey Rebellion
and here: BB Warmer. This last one is a work in progress I still need to revisit and complete. It needs just a touch of a sweet, syrupy dark berry to fill in the bottom half of the blackberry, I think the right amount of FW Blueberry might be the missing piece but I got distracted by other things and haven't had a chance to experiment with that yet.
Cap vcv1 + dulce de leche at ~3:1 ratio is a fairly well known recipe. Just the other day the color on my first batch "turned" and i suppose its ready because any eggy and alcoholic flavors are gone and replaced with smooooth vanilla and a milky exhale.
Highly recommended by itself but theres no way these could go wrong in a mix together.
TFA Dulce de Leche right? I read very mixed reviews on that one, some say it's great in custards, some say it ruins anything it touches... Might have to try it solo and see for myself.
My personal favorites are
5% Tfa watermelon + 1% koolada makes watermelon bubblegum
4% FA lemon Sicily + 3% sweet cream for lemon cream.
3% FW jungle juice + 1% menthol
FW White Chocolate and TFA Bavarian Cream at 1:1 makes a tasty White Chocolate vape.
TFA Blueberry (Extra) + TFA Graham Cracker Clear (2:1)
TFA strawberry (or ripe if you prefer it) 2-4%
FW Spearmint - 2-3%
Or the age old strawberry (nearly any) + VBIC.
How 'bout TFA Peanut Butter + Marshmallow at a 3:1 ratio.
RF Blue raz - 5% + TFA cotton candy 3%
INW Cherries + FA Black Cherry, only blend I and my friends don't get a medicinal cherry flavor but rather delicious jammy baked cherry
Do you have any other flavor pairings with FA Black Cherry. I have been playing with this flavor lately with mixed results. I have had some success with FA Lemon Sicily and also with TFA Nectarine. I find it ruins a mix pretty easily if used wrong but if used correctly will have a really good tasting ejuice.
TFA Bubblegum 4% CAP Double Apple 4%, FA Cookie 2% TFA VBIC 4%, FA Forest Fruit 2.5% WF Summertime Lemonade 4%. Those are my current go to. I usually only mix two flavor juices. I am going to make a berry cereal (berry crunch+bav cream) and simple nana cream (strawberry ripe+banana cream) after my next order.
CAP V2 Raspberry 6% + CAP Sweet Cream 3%.
Let sit at least one week. Tastes like fresh raspberries and cream. You can vape it right away too, but it's less creamy.
TFA Juicy Peach + TFA Dragonfruit
> TFA Juicy Peach + TFA Dragonfruit
Any particular percentage or ratio? That's sounding damn good right about now..
This is the recipe I used although just about any combination of these flavors works.
