Purple Twister
submitted over 8 years ago by ohm-society

I started off as a fruit vaper but slowly drifted into desserts and creams and it's pretty much all vape. Since it’s spring, I thought I’d a share a recipe that I've been enjoying a lot recently. It is a very simple recipe, that is sure to please all your fruity desires. Sweet, tart, juicy, full of flavour and well balanced.

Purple Twister

Manufacturer | Flavour | % ---------|----------|---------- FA | Fuji | 2% INW | Raspberry| 0.5% FA | Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) | 0.5% FW | Grape Soda | 5%

Steep Time:

Great fresh but best after 3 days

Profile:

Sweet and tart apple, grape and raspberry cocktail without the booze.

The Breakdown:

Fuji Apple (FA):

I shouldn’t need to explain the choice of this flavouring because everyone should know and love it by now; its perfect for any fruit recipe. Used at 2% it is crisp, juicy, slightly sweet and tart and tastes just like biting out of a robust apple. It is strong enough to be the main note of the profile but not strong enough to over power the rest of the flavourings.

Raspberry (INW):

Another flavouring that really doesn’t need an explanation. Used at 0.5% it is sweet and tart and almost slushy like. I actually think mixing this flavouring up with some simple-syrup and pouring it over crushed ice would produce vary satisfying results. I find it to be quite strong, so using it at a lower percentage allows it to sit more in the background. It gives the profile a little more depth and makes things a bit more interesting.

Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) (FA):

Yet another great flavouring! It's one my favourite limes and really mixes well with fuji and raspberry, so I thought it was very fitting to use it in this recipe. When mixing drinks at home, lime usually finds its way into most of them. It’s very refreshing and adds the right amount of zing that can really complete a recipe. Used at 0.5% it gives the profile a refreshing limey note without being too limey. It’s there but way towards the background and helps bring more tartness out from the apple and raspberry, which helps in balancing the recipes's overall sweetness.

Grape Soda (FW):

One of my personal favourite grape flavourings and it seems to find its way into all my grape recipes; probably because of how sweet it is and I mean sweet! It is the base and the backbone of this recipe, which all the other flavourings layer onto. It is not a very strong flavouring but at 5% it can be tasted all throughout the inhale and exhale and does not over power the other flavourings. It has a commercial grape drank taste but does not taste chemically (at 5%). If you like grape I highly suggest adding this flavouring to your stash.

Hmm. I don't have FW Grape Soda, only FW Grape. I'm sure they're pretty different, but I might sub it in and give this a shot anyway. Sounds intriguing. Thanks for the recipe!

Despite what it does to my coils, I love FW Grape Soda with the fierceness. Looks pretty nice man
