Simple Grape soda
submitted over 8 years ago by ReldofWTF is a "Terpene?"

So this is a very simple Grape soda that utilizes only 3 flavors. FW Grape Soda has 30-40% sucralose so it's hard to use a high % of this stuff. I think its best overnight but it's great right away! If you aren't scared about the sucralose or don't care about your coils then you can up the grape soda anywhere up to 5%.

Simple Grape Soda

  • 2.5% FW Grape Soda

  • 4% INW Grape

  • 1% TFA Champagne

FW Grape Soda was an easy choice for me here it has a soda base that does taste carbonated and the mouthfeel is pretty spot on for how it should be. Also the fact that it has 30-40% sucralose only makes sense because the real things are LOADED with sugar.

INW Grape this was used to bring the grape out of the grape soda and give it more of a "wet feeling". This is sorta a juice flavoring but you can still taste the full grape flavor with the flesh and skin which play very nicely in the mix.

TFA Champagne so I've heard people say this can add carbonation, I have found that it does not for me. To me, this is very sweet and has a very light cream mouthfeel and taste to it no vanilla. The grape combo may be a little harsh together so this comes it to sweeten everything up, take down some of those harsh top notes and blends everything together

Just mixed up a batch of this, with a couple modifications:

  • Added 4% FW Grape to boost overall grape flavour.
  • Replaced TFA Champagne with 2% FW Pink Champagne.

Will let you know how it turns out!

good call, pink champagne is the one i've heard adds something of a carbonated/evervescent flavor. I think we're all searching for that one good carbonated flavor. RF Soda Base is another option but I think it tastes more like a flat lemon-lime club soda.

Nice! Look forward to making this. When I first made Grack Juice, I didn't have INW Grape and ended up using Grape Soda instead. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. It really has a light soda like element to it. I'm sure it'll be be great with some champagne and INW grabe to round it off.

Another nice touch to experiment with is FW Sweet Tarts Type. It gives the gritty, almost effervescent sour sugar you find on Warheads or Sour Skittles. I think it'll help with your mouth feel and add some contrast.

Granted, this will probably kill coils if you are heavy handed.

This won't probably kill coils, it WILL kill coils. that 2.5% is like 5% CAP Super Sweet and i think you could even double it.

> FW Sweet Tarts Type

contains fructose. you prolly don't want to be vaping that. but then again, a lot of FW's flavors use fructose and I don't think I could go without FW fruity flakes.

It's one of those situations where I ignore logic to get results. 😂

I really wish FW would release fructose free versions of these flavors, kinda like how LA offers color free flavorings.

Its a good grape, Def could be better if boosted by another grape (maybe FLV? don't know how theirs is.).
