While ordering some of One on One's acclaimed creamy flavors, which so far have not disappointed, I grabbed four of their mango flavors to try. I might go back and do a proper flavor review when time allows but for now I just wanted to make sure to get something in our search results about these mangos. I'd heard nothing about any of these flavors but had been warned that OOO is very hit and miss and on fruits, more miss than hit.

Tested these on a variety of setups over the course of a couple of days.

OOO Mango Candy I bought a new shower curtain after trying this. 1% is VG with just a very light touch of mango-scented bath soap. 2.5% is even soapier, but it also has some sugariness which reminds me of OOO Powdered Sugar flavor... I guess that's the candy part? 5% More mango flavor comes in and it's like very soft, slightly banana creamy type of mango. But, that soapy thing. It seemed to leave a film in my mouth; I couldn't stop thinking of soap scum.

OOO Mango Sweet 1% is again mostly unflavored, with just a hint of some kind of vaguely tropical peach-like aroma. 2.5% tastes like a flatter, less overly ripe, thinner version of 1% CAP Sweet Mango. Like you left CAP Sweet Mango out in the sun with the cap off and then tried using it at 1% to add a bit of tropical sweetness to your juice. 5% Sweet and clearly a mango flavor, but soft tasting like it might be overrun in a mix, and also a bit dried out. I might try this one again at an even higher percent but something tells me that dryness is just going to get worse.

OOO Mango Ripe 1% whisp of vaguely fruity air. 2.5% actual mango flavor that's weak and slightly dry but not unpleasant. 5% This is actually decent to vape, but it's not bright, bold, nectary, pulpy, or juicy - all good qualities in a mango flavor. Instead, it's soft, unassertive, a bit dry.The mango itself reminds me of TFA Philippine Mango but flavor is almost like a mango-marshmallow where the mango is dry and the marshmallow is even drier. Like, just got into a contest to see how many jumbo marshmallows you could stuff in your mouth at once dry. If you like your fruits juicy, this is definitely not for you.

OOO Mango Green I don't know what I was thinking. I mean it says it right in the name, green. 1% tastes like strawberry-peach-banana with a bit of a bitter, vegetal mango peel. 2.5% Waxy, perfumy, slightly soapy, and very green. This might be a matter of opinion, but mangoes are supposed to be soft and wet and completely naked, not hard and unpeeled. If you're some kind of monster who is either masochistic or not allergic to the peel, and likes to taste an improperly sliced mango or to just bite into them like some kind of animal, JF Mango has this same "bit of green peel" deal going on, but has a juicier and somewhat candyish mango there as well, while this mango tastes hard as a rock underripe and not juicy at all. 5% is essentially underripe unpeeled stone fruit laundry detergent.

TLDR; You probably don't want buy OOO Mango Candy, OOO Mango Sweet, OOO Mango Ripe, or OOO Mango Green. I'm not saying these flavors are entirely useless, someone will figure out something creative to do with them where just a touch perfects some recipe. But if a delicious, authentic mango flavor for vaping standalone or mixing mango-centric profiles is what you're after, these are not the flavors for you.

If you absolutely must buy something from OOO with mango in the name, I hear their Mango Sorbet is amazing.

YW. Couldn't find any information about them, someone had to try them.

I still need to make testers of the RFSC Mango and DIYFS Yellow Mango I've bought, and those new ones at Nicotine River are tempting. But I will not be surprised to find there's no better answer to the mango question and the ones we already have, mixed in different combinations depending on the application.

If my job was making juice then I'd spend my time trying to find a better solution but I'm too happy with the big 4 already to put the time and anymore money into it if I'm honest.

DIYFS could be a good one, their holy vanilla put them high up in my books.

Tried RFSC mango yet? I really like mine but I have nothing to compare it to!

Haven't had a chance to mix it up yet but that makes me want to bump doing so up a few notches on the to-mix list.

This seems to be the theme with straying from the "approved" OoO flavor list. Although, I suppose the only way this list has been vaguely compiled is by people wasting money on their duds.

Thank you for your sacrifice ;)

I guess I owe the community some basic flavor reviews for all the OoO I wasted money on. I ordered about 15 bottles...3 or 4 are good. The rest were total failures

I'll try anything once.

See, I will normally try anything twice because the first time could just be a bad experience but with sft I would not go by that rule, good write up sir, thank you for your diligence.

So what is a must-have Mango flavor? I need some Mango in my life man!

If you only get one mango, get FLV. Hands down, out of what I've tried so far, the best.

If you only get two, add CAP Sweet Mango. I've had some good results using those two together.

If you only get three, add TFA Philippine, and do it quickly, while Bull City still has my Mango Tango flavor pack on sale. I'm shameless.

Other mangoes - particularly FA, HS, and TFA - might also prove useful as well, but not as useful as FLV and CAP Sweet. I despise INW Mango and am not too fond of JF Mango, but as you know, taste is subjective and some people enjoy them, maybe you will, too. Basically, buy all the mangoes except OOO Mango Candy, OOO Mango Ripe, OOO Mango Sweet, and OOO Mango Green.

I'd add that not only is FLV Mango the best of the lot, it also has the widest range of flavours at differing percentages in the mix. Great flavour.

Use it at 6% though and you're vaping dish soap.

If I buy that flavor pack, does it come as individual flavors? Or all in one bottle? Because that actually looks like a great deal.

Edit: stray punctuation

Individual bottles. I haven't actually tallied up the Mango Tango pack but the Longing one is a good deal, it's like buy four get one free.

I'll never forget the day I made the mistake of buying Hot Tamales Tropical Heat. Every bite brought me closer and closer to vomiting but I didn't falter, I'm no quitter. I finished the box.

I could see it being better as a juice, though.

Don't make the juice. I don't think you'd like it.

I didn't forget about it. I just didn't want to recommend it because that flavor breaks my heart. It's so good freshly mixed but loses whole notes really fast. Those notes do seem to hang around longer when mixed with heavier creamy things though. I just haven't quite figured out what to do with it yet.

I have never tried flavors worse than mango ripe and candy mango. Honestly terrible.

Mango Candy and Mango Green were among the 5 worst for my taste but I should have thought to ask you if you'd tried them before buying any of these.

I also got rice pudding a while ago hoping to get closer to a sticky rice with mango type thing. I do not recommend. The coconut milk was good though. As was strawberry ripe.

Yo /u/ID10-T I just wanted to say I mixed my first ever juice last night making your Tamamango recipe and it's great.

Not perfect but that's only because I didn't realize how fast the little scale counter would go up when adding drops and I don't have my Costa Rica Special yet so I had to sub in Inawera. That shit is way too powerful at 1% so I don't think I'll use it again for this. But if you do have a use for it I'd hear it.

I also got IW peach based on your recommend (I think) that I have to believe has a place here.

So I just wanted to say both thanks and F you for getting me into this DIY stuff. It's been interesting. Oh and I'm only doing 10 ml at a time per your warnings.

> both thanks and F you

hahaha, welcome to the rabbit hole.

No, I hate INW Mango. Single-flavor testing that one made me so angry. INW does other fruits so well, why'd they have to mess up so badly on mango, of all fruits? I've had it in a couple of recipes at 0.5% and they were OK, but I think they would have been better without it. 0.5% INW Peach would have been a much tastier sub for 1% FA Mango.

Ahh. Now I remember. Crap maybe someone else had found a use for it.

But I will report back when I get your recipe done right. I think it's going to be close to what I'm looking for. It does loose potency fast as you said.

Just an update finally mixed Tamamango precisely in its exact configuration (1 tank worth at a time) and it is phenomenal.

Fairly high nicotine at 22mg and it's still scratching my hookah and my mango itch. 40/60 ratio it just rolls over me like a fresh orchard fog. Thanks again.
