I'm new to making juice. My friend asked me to make a cherry limeade flavor for him. I'm a college student who doesn't have extra money to spend so I can't test much. Having said that, I was wondering if anyone had a good cherry limeade recipe they wouldn't mind sharing? I searched all over and none very specific enough or didn't have enough good reviews to spend money on testing. Appreciate any recipes and thanks in advance
I get told many times by my friends that i make a killer cherry limeade, so here it is. Lemon Sicily addition i give credit to /u/Vurve. Recommend adding in 2% TFA Raspberry (sweet) with 1% TFA cranberry it adds a really nice blue razz taste to it. inw cherry is same as cherries and raspberryl is the normal well know inw rasp.
Cherry Limeade
-
1% INW Cherry
-
.5% INW Raspberryl
-
.5% FA Lime Tahity (cold pressed)
-
.25% INW Lime
-
.75% FA Lemon Sicily
-
6% LA Lemonade
This sure looks good. I appreciate you taking the time to post a personal recipe! Is the raspberry distracting at all to the cherry limeade base flavor?
I personally don't think it does its more there for some tartness, mouth feel and sweetness. Iv'e asked many people if there anything i could do to make it better and they can't think of anything. i feel you could drop the rasp .25% and either try that if you do taste raspberry or can add in .25% of strawberry if you don't like how the cherry is.
Quick question for you as I have the ingredients coming in for this today. What ratio do you typically mix this at? I tend to lean towards Max VG and will likely modify this recipe a bit if you tend to mix around 60/40 or 70/30.
Aide
- INW Cactus @ 0.5%
- TFA Dragonfruit @ 0.5%
- INW Lime @ 1.5%
- CAP Wild Cherry (w/stevia) @ 6%
This recipe has been published for awhile because someone here was looking for a cherry limeade type recipe, but I never gave notes or posted it in a thread.
Let's start with the cherry. I tried a few different cherries here, most notably TFA Black Cherry, FA Black Cherry, and INW Cherries. Wild Cherry by CAP ended up being the one to go for in this case. Yes, it does have stevia. I know. It's sweet. I know. How do we fix that...
... With INW Lime. This stuff is the bomb. I love it. It's in-your-face lime action. It's like someone loaded their shot shells with chunks of fresh lime and blasted you in the face with it. It's damn good. This together with the CAP Wild Cherry creates a nice balance of sweet and tart to our mix. Just remember that a little goes a long way, as with most of Inawera's flavors. 1.5% is PLENTY of lime, and, honestly, some people have said it's over limey. Those people aren't me, though, and I love me some lime.
Now. We have the cherry. We have the lime. We need the ade. INW Cactus will help with that. Used here at .5%, it make the juice... Juicy. It's a commonly known additive, and it works great here. The TFA Dragonfruit at .5% is used to bring the lime and cherry together. Again, common knowledge, but important nonetheless.

haven't personally tried it but INW lime is the absolute tits. all ingredients can be found on ecigexpress.
for what it's worth the best way to search this sub is to type
site:reddit.com/r/diy_ejuice Cherry Limeade
into google.
If you're looking for something easy I'd say check out FW Shirley temple or NN Shirley Temple. FW tastes mostly like a cherry limeade and you could bump the lime up a bit if you needed with say one of FA 's limes. NN is my fav of the two but it is more like a Shirley temple and less like a cherry limeade

[Stop being lazy] (http://e-liquid-recipes.com/list?q=Cherry+limeade).
I have looked through these. Most of the recipes require buying from more than one source which escalates shipping costs or an ingredient is out of stock. If that's what I have to do that's fine. Wasn't being lazy, was trying to be efficient.
Are you not in the US? All the concentrates in the top rated recipe in the search results I provided can be had at ecigexpress.com and bullcityflavors.com.

Lazy?
Also

How could a list of shit recipes on ELR be the answer to this question?
Yeah I'm not so sure about his legwork. This is a popular profile that has many many recipes behind it. If he's done the legwork there would be about $20 worth of concentrates to buy and start playing with the profile based on the recipes at ELR and elsewhere.
Recipes that come from ELR are automatically all shit? Have you tried them?
There are quite a few really really good recipes out there without reviews. [Example] (https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/27070#24k_by_concreteriver). Better not mix it. It's probably shit. /s
Just hush.
"His Legwork"
I searched "Cherry Limeade" in the search bar. First topic has one recipe way at the bottom that has a tooooon of flavorings one from INW, two from Flavorah, one from "OOO". A new mixer is not going to go out on the limb and buy those flavorings just cuz maybe it'll be good.
2nd topic nothing.
3rd topic nothing.
the rest of the topics took totally unrelated.
Okay, I'm dissuaded. I'll just ask for help!
"ELR is all shit"
Hyperbole. Obviously ELR has a ton of wonderful recipes. That you should either know the flavorings intimately to trust, or the recipe needs a ton of reviews to trust, or you need to know who the maker is to trust.
A new user will not have this knowledge and will very much have trouble differentiating between a good recipe and a bad recipe. They ONLY can go by reviews.
If he knew enough to tell those things he would just probably just make his own recipe.
[EDIT] WAAAAAAAAAAAIT A FUCKIN SECOND. You posted a link to ATF. A website that specifically has a financial requirement aimed to dissuade lower quality recipes. I would trust ATF a MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILION times over then ELR for a random recipe. You kiddin me!? WAIIIIIIIIT EVEN MORE A FUCKIN SECOND. That fucking recipe was entered into the DOD World Mixers contest. Seriously dude?
