Flv Cookie Dough
submitted over 8 years ago by mlNikon

Setup: Narda Clone, Single coil 26g Kanthal @.7 ohms. 25W Power, Half wicked with Tencel

Testing: Flavorah Cookie Dough @ 1%. 70/30 VG/PG, steeped 16 days.

Flavor Description: This tastes to me like undercooked sugar cookies, or chocolate chip cookie dough without the chocolate chips. It is sweet and can definitely taste the granules of sugar in the dough. This flavor has a nice thick mouth feel. It even has a greasy note to it that packaged cookie dough has.

Off-flavors: If you count the grease, but I think it adds to the authenticity of the cookie dough

Throat Hit: This flavor is moderately harsh on its own.

Uses & Pairings: I can see this flavor being used to thicken up some mixes as it has a very nice full mouth feel. I would also use this with sugar cookies for a "wetter" note.

Notes: At 1% I get a very full flavor, I would maybe go as hi as 1.5% but nothing higher. I've seen this flavor being used at 3% with bad reviews and I would even use this at .5% to enhance other mixes.

You don't get a maple taste from this? When I initially tested this it was pretty forward. I was using it at 3% so based in your review I may have had it too high.

I'll have to go back to it and try it at 1%.

I got that taste really bad from FLV Cookie and only slightly with FLV Cookie Dough.

I get maple dominating the profile when used 2% and up. It's still there at lower percentages for me, but not as over powering.
