Cheapest Place to get Bottles?
submitted over 8 years ago by TheGrimz

The cheapest I can find 30ml dripper bottles is for $0.38 a bottle, which costs almost as much as my flavoring does per bottle. Currently a finished bottle of juice costs me $1.13 to make and I'm trying to minimize my production costs further; does anywhere sell them cheaper than $0.38 a bottle? Max I'm looking to buy is 50

$19/100 bottles

Same price as the first post but these have the needle tips. If you add a note in the instructions you can pick your cap colors as well.

I'd get two boxes if the shipping to Sweden wasn't $109. I doubt they get a lot of international orders with those prices.

Checkout ibottles their shipping is €17.27 to Sweden.

I buy all my plastic bottles from them.

glassbottleoutlet.com is better than them...

unfortunatley atm they seem to be out of plastic 30mls...

normally they are 0.15c each and they use the thin tips vs those medical dropper style listed above...

keep an eye out for when they have them back in stock though

I reuse my bottles when making similar flavors. Have been using this stash of 100 bottles for three years now.

I've been using the same 10 or so bottles for like 3 years. Maybe I should spring for some more.

Something you may not have thought of... check with a local vape shop that has an in house juice line. I have a great relationship with a local store and buy my coils and a few other things there just to stay in the good graces, I also buy 60ml chubby gorilla bottles from them 100 at a time. Sells them to me at basically cost +8% to cover his shipping when he buys them by the 1000. Just a thought if you have that option or if others might I guess.

You would get them for $0.02 per bottle for 15 ml and little more for 30 ml. However they are available in India for this price.

Just my opinion but..I have been buying the cheap LDPE plastic bottles that were about $0.35 CAD per bottle but some are more trouble than they are worth. The lids don't always thread on properly and they are sometimes impossible to twist off once you get it on tight enough to seal it. The plastic drip tips some times get stuck inside the lid and you need pliers to pull them out. I have since been buying them from fasttech. I believe they are PET and the long tips fit inside the bottle so they don't get stuck in the cap. They are a clear, hard, good quality plastic in many sizes. I hate the Gorilla Unicorn bottles because the dropper caps are really hard to take off once they are on, they also leak out juice if there is air inside the bottle. These bottles are slightly more expensive than the ones you are looking for but I love them. Cheaper is not always the best option

I have the math right here for producing a clone of Mother's Milk. I buy flavoring from Bull City, 120ml for a good $/mL discount. I buy VG and PG by the gallon from Heartland vapes and it's also pretty cheap; it may seem like a bit of an investment at first, but buying VG by the gallon instead of by the 500mL lowered the cost per bottle by $0.25. That's a lot when a bottle only costs around $1 to produce. Nicotine I buy from Heartland @ 100mg/mL and 120ml. This math is assuming you're using PG-based nicotine, making the juice at 4mg, and with the PG in the nic + the PG in flavors will produce exactly a 30/70 PG/VG ratio. Don't even need to add extra PG to dilute. If you make the juice higher than 4mg/mL it'll be slightly more expensive but not by much. All of these prices are rounded up so it'll end up costing a tiny bit less than this.

Bavarian Cream $7/120ml = $0.06 per ml
Cheesecake $8/120ml = $0.07 per ml
Strawberry $5.25/120ml $0.04 per ml
Sweet Cream $7.50/120ml $0.06 per ml
Vanilla Custard $10.50/120ml $0.09 per ml

1.2ml(.06) cream, 1.5ml(.07) Cheesecake, 3ml(0.04) Strawberry,
1.2ml(0.06) Sweet Cream, 0.9ml(0.09) Vanilla Custard (Decimal values in front of parentheses are how many mL this recipe calls for, then multiply by cost per mL)

0.072 + .105 + .12 + .072 + .081 (Add up all the flavor costs)

A 30ml bottle of Mother's Milk costs $0.45 in flavoring

IF VG is bought by the gallon...
1 Gallon of VG is 3785.41mL
Costs $26
1mL of VG costs ~$0.007, 21 mL VG to make Mothers Milk
Cost = $0.15

$0.45 (Flavor) + $0.19 (Bottle) + $0.16 (4mg Nicotine)

  • $0.15 (VG)
    $0.95 per 30mL

I spent hours trying to figure out how to produce juice for the cheapest price per bottle while not breaking the bank on the original investment and here's where I am. You could definitely get this cheaper by buying nicotine in bigger bulk than 120ml, or buying 4 gallon pales of VG/PG, if you're willing to invest that much. It'll save you a lot of money over a long period of time but it can be a big initial investment. I'm investing about $160 for the VG, PG, nic, 3 flavor recipes, some safety equipment, etc. I believe when I graphed my profit (what I'd make from selling it OR foregoing paying for a 30mL house juice at a store, about $6) I'd break even at 25 bottles, and it would take 100 bottles to run out of nic and plastic; VG PG and flavoring still in tact. Pretty good deal. I plan on vaping a lot of it but I also plan on selling enough to at least cover my initial investment. If I can manage that then I'll have gotten 75 30mLs for free since I'd break even. Good juice is damn expensive so it'd save me from buying it for a looong time. This isn't even my cheapest flavor to produce; the cheapest one is a Birthday Cake flavor that I can make at $0.89 a bottle.
