> Real Flavors Description: Nothing says summertime quite like our sweet, natural watermelon. Now you can satisfy your juicy melon cravings any time…without the seeds. Crisp, mouthwatering flavor will soak your senses!
Flavor description: Wow, first impression is this stuff is incredibly sweet. This is possibly the sweetest flavor I've ever vaped. Not in a bad way. This stuff tastes exactly like eating some watermelon sour patch kids. The sweetness isn't artificially chemical tasting. Almost get the feeling of it lingering on your lips. This is definitely a candy watermelon flavor but the best damn one I've tried yet. Nothing like a real tasting watermelon as they described. No rind notes or anything outside of just a straight watermelon candy. No chemical or artificial off putting notes either. It has almost a gummy flavor to it without actually being able to taste anything gummy related. It has a lingering moist and juicy taste to it not like that dryness you get from LA and TFA Watermelon. Similar to the effect you get from INW Cactus. I'm getting some sour at the end of the exhale. It's not that noticeable but it's there. For how simple a flavor like this they hit every single note to make a very "authentic" artificial tasting candy watermelon flavor. Colored me surprised on how delicious this flavor is.
This seems to be more of a PDO dominate flavor. I'm making the assumption that they are putting PDO in there. They do sell concentrates based in PDO. I'm picking up no alcohol flavors or harshness. The viscosity appears to be inline with a semi diluted PG type flavor. I could be wrong here so take it with a grain of salt.
Throat hit: Nothing of note/ incredibly smooth
Off-flavors: Nothing outside of a candy watermelon
Uses: .5%-1% seems to be a good starting point for more of a background note or going against some lighter fruits. 1.5%-2% for the top note. Going this high with it might make the sweetness over bearing/sickly sweet. I can see this being very useful for adding sweetness in lower percentages in candy recipes that seem to lack that 'brightness' you want. This will pull anything you make into more of a candy profile. This could, in a lot of recipes, be exchanged for LA Watermelon at, obviously, a lower percentage as this does it better IMO. Mixing this with a light non-dairy cream such as TFA Whipped cream would be good if you want to try to take it into a sherbet flavor because of the shear amount of sweetness this has.
Rating: 9/10
I'm rating this high because it is what I hoped LA/TFA Watermelon was. This flavor is exactly what I have been wanting from a candy watermelon profile. It's concentrated and right in your face. Will have many uses around a fruit/candy type profile without having to go up to 9% to achieve it.
Second Opinions:
> ELR - Mixed at 2.5% and let it sit a week. This is pretty authentic watermelon flavor. It reminds me of summer months eating fresh watermelon. It's sweet and juicy! I think that 2.5% is probably a little high and would be better at 1.5-2%. Overall it is still a really good watermelon flavor. > > Preferred single flavor mix: 2.0%
Those reviews where everything is so smooth and perfect always seem sketchy to me...
I have a reason to lie.
I'm a shill placed here by Real Flavors themselves!
Nice review! Definitely a fan a things that are concentrated and yummy, this seems like both. I got a couple of these reviews on the back burner but my PG should be arriving today so I can get to it. I tried baklava and blueberry with max VG; so far so good but I can't really judge when I'm mixing 97% VG. I can tell you that the baklava is pretty heavy on the rose water, depending on a person's taste that could be really good or really awful.
Is this Super Concentrated or Real Flavors?
Real flavors super concentrate line.
They have a VG line and super concentrate line.
Thanks for the clarification. I didn’t know RF had a super concentrated line.
Excited to see all the SC flavor tests coming up! Mine should be arriving today and I'll try to get my first flavor test post up next week!
just wanna mention that 3% is 30mg strength, not sure if that's accurate. if it is, you are a champ.
I think she meant 3% of the solution is made of 100mg strength nic which would equal 3mg liquid.
Did you just assume my gender??!!
You would be correct on the nic strength.
I got 8 bottles of their stuff, I wish I was good at writing these kinda reviews but I don't have the patience and am not good at describing taste. Overall everything is pretty decent I got aside from the cheesecake I'm afraid to even use it. When you open the bottle it smells like poisonous chemicals.
I got some of their SC Fried Chicken as a joke with their free sample offering last week.
I was expecting some abomination of a flavor but it actually smells like fried chicken...
the fried chicken flavoring always makes me chuckle... Lulzorr has talked about it a few times...
I used that situation as a advantage to get a couple oddball flavorings i normally wouldn't purchase, but def didn't go as far as chicken lol
oh hey.
my 10 and 20% VG mixes are still steeping along nicely. tested it a few days ago and can't say anything too different than before. butter aftertaste, peppered/seasoned chicken skin flavor. not sweet.
i'm thinking of throwing ~~it out~~ in some TFA waffle and maybe some CAP French toast.
Well I got 5 flavorings that sounded good and fried chicken to make a joke flavor review. Me writing a comical review for a flavor no one is going to buy or want to vape sounded fun at the time. Now that I smelled it I don't know if I actually want to vape it...
Thanks for this. Did you try this shake and vape, or let it steep? I didn't see any mention of that. Just curious if it's not harsh right away really.
