I'm a bit of a mixing rookie, so bear with me here. I don't post too many recipes, mostly because I'm still learning what the hell I'm doing here, but after trying this stuff out, I felt like I had to share.
So a couple weeks ago I picked up the stuff I'd need for the ever-popular Green Tea Kit-Kat juice and I figured since that recipe calls for such a small amount of the FE Green Tea that I'd play around a bit and try to come up with a Peach Green Tea flavor.
I decided to use roughly the same amount of FE Green Tea for the tea base. I had some FA White Peach on hand for a Peach Greek Yogurt I'd tried a while back (side note, undiluted TFA Greek Yogurt flavoring smells like a dead squirrel inside of a gym sock). I had read that the White Peach can get harsh over 3%, so I stayed right at 3. I figured a tea flavor could use a bit of lemon and I had some Flavorah Lemonade on hand, so I went with that. And then to top it off, I had just picked up some CAP Hibiscus so I figured I'd throw that in at 2% just to see what it did. Holy crap, guys. After mixing it all up and wetting my wicks, that first draw took me totally by surprise. Super complex flavor. The Hibiscus floral notes really shine. The peach flavor is definitely there too and you just get a little hint of the earthy green tea in the background. I'm not sure if I could taste much of the lemonade, but man, this stuff tastes like nothing else I've tried before. The overall flavoring percentage is relatively low, but this is definitely a full-flavored vape. Keep in mind, I'm writing this right after shakin' and vapin' so things will probably change a bit after it steeps, but right off the bat, this is a really pleasant flavor.
This might sound weird, but it almost reminds of Juicy Couture women's perfume if you've ever smelled that. And yeah, no one wants to vape perfume, but it smells fantastic. Floral. Tropical. Peachy. One of the best accidents I've ever made.
White Peach (FA) - 3%
Hibiscus (CAP) - 2%
Lemonade (FLV) - 1%
Green Tea (FE) - 0.8%
