"Walt_RealFlavors Just a heads up, the team has been working the last 14 hours to keep up with everything. We will be shipping a lot in the morning, but pleasssssssse understand that a lot of orders were placed in the last 24 hours. We will keep you posted, but we may be a bit behind our standard timelines."
Also, we went WAY beyond the 1,000 bottles. At last check, we were close to 4,000. The coupon is still going and still good."
UPDATE:
"Walt_RealFlavors
The Free Sample Offer will expire at Noon EST today.
We went about 4000 bottles over the first 1000 bottles sold o.O"
Weird, tried to order but on the checkout page there is nothing to fill out for payment method, but tells me I haven't put in a valid payment method. Guess I won't be trying them.
Edit: I'll be damned. Had to rotate my phone for it to show up.
LOL...that's funny. Got to love glitches. From what I understand from the other forum, there are a few people here or there that are coming up with wrong shipping costs. I guess if anybody else does contact them tomorrow when they open. Seems like it's working fine for the majority of us though. Sure hope he warned his crew and brings them coffee in the morning, or they are going to be a teensy bit upset!
After that little glitch it all worked fine. Shipping cost seemed fine. It was $4 per order. Pretty nice little deal. I probably never would have tried them if they didn't do it. They don't carry tobacco flavors, so I never really looked at them. But now we will see!
Hey guys can you recommend any custard, bakery or fruit flavors (I like tobacco's but it doesn't look like they have any) pretty good promo to get people familiar with there products but I am completely unfamiliar with RF..
Also thanks for posting OP
The Vanilla Custard and Bread Pudding and Yumberry is very good. And Condensed milk, and Blu Raspberry is pretty good as well. Still a lot I want to try :)
This is a really good idea for the company, I bet ya you'll be seeing a ton of new Real Flavor reviews popping up in the coming weeks. Then a good amount of recipes incorporating those flavors in the follow weeks.
I went ahead and got Milk - VG Based, Mountain Juice - VG Based, Aged Bourbon Cream - VG Based, Blueberry Acai Pomegranate - Super Concentrate, & Fried Dough - VG Based
Never used VG based flavorings before, excited to give it shot!
The major difference is steep times. You'll want to give it a 2.5-3 week steep to let it work it's magic. It's also a bit weaker overall so you may end up using more than you thought you would need in mixes
I suppose it'll give me more leeway in amounts. I'm curious to how it affects the smell of them. 90% of my mixing strategy is just going by scents of the juices.
I'm so tempted to get Fried Chicken SC.
Do it! For science
I couldn't find anything else I wanted to finish the order so I got it.
I'll post a review of it when I get it. How bad could it be, right?
It's not as bad as you'd think. ~~I can't link to it from mobile but~~ I've posted some thoughts on 5, 10 and 20%. 10 and 20 are steeping currently for the big test.
Main notes are grease, butter and seasoned chicken skin. Not very meaty.
Now just trying to figure out the best flavors to try
There aren't many
I got these...I haven't bought any of their stuff prior...
Blue Raz
Cake Batter
Vanilla Custard
Bahama Breeze
Boston Cream Pie
Cheesecake
Silly Rabbit (hoping it's better than the TFA version)
Passion fruit
9 oz - $14.34
Hey hey, at that cheap it is worth a shot.
Ordered my 6 bottles! Thanks OP!
Thanks for posting this, just picked up 6 flavors- blueberry, Pineapple, baklava, pomegranate, cookies & cream, and lemonade.
Reviews coming soon!
Tough to choose because they have many interesting things but I wanted to try some fruits to see whether I can find better options than what's out there. Pineapple and blueberry are definitely flavors that could be done much better so I'm excited to see whether these are better than the stuff I've tried so far.
Have you tried CAP Blueberry? I'm a blueberry fan so I've tried most of them and that's the best one I've come across. It has that authentic taste like a fresh blueberry cooked in a muffin.
Everything else is very candy-like. Kinda kicking myself now for not getting BB in my RF order.
FLV Blueberry is my favorite so far from what I've tried out there.
I was actually planning on ordering FLV blueberry on my next order from BCV. Going to happen soon I've just been holding off because i feel like I'm forgetting something else. Thanks for the words about this one, I hope it becomes my favorite too. I don't mind paying the extra for FLV as long as it's yummy.
Thanks for posting this. I also didn't see any sort of payment details when I did it from my desktop on the checkout screen - tried Chrome and IE, was ready to give up, then saw the post about ordering from mobile and I was finally able to see the payment section on my phone. I ordered these, hopefully they are good - either way about $13 for all 3 orders, so it won't be too much of a loss:
- Fried Dough
- Peanut Butter
- Butter Toffee
- Pancakes
- French Toast
- Rice Crispy Treat
Also want to note - it is a price reduction, not specific to 2 flavors. If you get their VG based flavors, they cost 3.95 and their PG based cost 6.95 per oz. I found this out on my 2nd order, I added 2 flavors, one was only available in VG, the code didn't work, so I added another VG base flavor and then the code worked.
So if you add 1 PG, and 2 VG it comes to a total of 95 cents and you can get 3 bottles instead of 2...I personally don't mind the VG because I tend to let everything I mix steep at least a month. If I could go back I would've gotten 4 in VG base in each order and paid 15.80 -13.90 = 1.90 + 4.11 = 6.01 for 4 oz shipped.
Also just for the fuck of it, the whole discount is $33.48. I considered if you only paid for shipping once, it would be 4.11 if you were to do a normal order, but since they thru in this kink to make you pay shipping 3x you spend an extra 8.22 on shipping. So 13.90 x 3 - 8.22 is how I consider it.
Very good point but you have to also remember the VG is significantly weaker as well. 1-3% vs 8-15%. Plus the long steep times. I guess it's just a preference thing.
I didn't consider that % thing. I've never used VG flavoring before. Even tho my vendor carries RF I've never bought any of it either.
I noticed you did all the RF flavoring reviews so you obviously know alot more about their stuff than I do.
The flavoring I bought though was not availiable in PG that's how I wind up getting those. At the end I picked one that was PG and VG I think it was passion fruit and I got the VG to get 3 vs 2.
I buy some of the VG ones as well, at least until they are produced in SC. I think it was about 3 or 4 months ago they started with the SC. There are some in VG I get because I love them so much, even though it's a higher percentage, and they aren't in SC. Like Shamrock Shake, Peanut Butter Cookie, Cinnamon Custard. They are some of my addictions...lol
EDIT: I also grabbed the Cherry Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookie in the VG because I've been wanting to try them and they aren't in the SC's yet either ;)
So I ended up grabbing
-Strawberry
-Vanilla Custard
-Bread Pudding
-Condensed Milk
If I end up liking any of these then this was a great find.
I grabbed a few flavors from them. Will review when they come in.
Some of the flavors didn't come in SC, so I've got 8 coming instead of the 6 free ones.
Blue Raz
Cake Batter
Cherry
Blood Orange
Rice Crispy Treats
Yumberry
Also grabbed aged bourbon cream because I have an idea for it. And the Trix cereal flavor. My girlfriend has been asking for a cereal flavored juice.
That's exactly how it panned out for me. I wind up with 8 bottles instead of 6. 4 PG and 4 VG
I would've probably only gotten 6 had it been "any" flavor. Because it was limited to the super concentrates, I ended up ordering a couple others I saw while browsing. I'd say it's a net win if I like any of the flavors. At $2 a bottle cost to me, it's not worse than buying flavorings wholesale. Plus, they are claiming like .5-2% is plenty on the flavors, so they should last a bit.
Yeah I don't understand the reasoning for even selling it in VG. Noone else does that.. I don't see adding 10ish % flavoring to a bottle though. Plenty of CAP and TFA flavors are weak like that where you need that much anyways. Just have to remember to adjust the weight for VG when doing recipes.
Thanks again for sharing this!
I just picked up Peanut Butter, Grape, Mango, Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava for $12.33.
You Goober! You didn't get the Baked Bread for that PB&J?
No, because I already have it (but haven't tried it yet).
OP how do you get 6 and pay shipping once @ $12? I can only do 2 bottles each order and have to pay shipping every order? $34.59 for 6 with 3 separate orders?
I think you have to add 2 to an order put in the code, choose Usps shipping which is $4 total. And repeat that 2 more times.
how do you do this? i chose 2 flavors, apply coupon and select upsp but when i add 2 more and apply coupon is says coupon is already expired?
LOL. Apparently they hit the 1000 bottles at 5:00 AM Pacific Time. He said he'd go ahead for another 1000 since it went so fast to give more people a chance. They also said any people that had problems with shipping overcharging to hit them up on the live chat on the website and they are assisting. Worth a shot? I'm getting this all from the conversation in the other forum, not them directly, so it's all second hand.
EDIT: He also said at one point there were more than 2000 people on the website as well, so that might have caused some of the glitches, not sure?
Got 9 flavors for $15, not bad.
including shipping? how?
how do you use it 3 times and only get charged for shipping once?
Add 2 to cart, enter code, choose usps shipping so the total is $4. Repeat if you want more.
17$ to Canada. I would've paid the 17$ to ship 6 bottles but 17$ per 2 or 3 bottles starts to not make any sense. Thanks for clearing it up though.
Not too bad. 3 orders of 9 items total for just over $34. Can't wait to try it out. Chai, Cookies & Cream, Rhubarb, Strawberry, Vanilla Custard, Condensed Milk, Pumpkin Pie, Cake Batter and Shamrock Shake (VG). Thanks for the heads up.
This has been one of my ADV's lately. Shamrock Shake
Ingredient|% :---|---: Creme de Menthe (Flavorah)|1 Shamrock Shake (VG) (Real Flavors)|6 Sugar Cookie (CAP)|3 Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA)|2.5 Vanilla Swirl (TPA)|1.5
Flavor total: 14%
Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!
Is this over? There's no section to enter payment. I even used ctrl+f to find it just in case things were going weird with chrome.
I had the same issue with all browsers on my desktop - weird. What worked for me was I went in through chrome on my iphone and magically the payment section was there. Maybe give that a try.
So you have to make 3 separate orders?
Not necessarily. The coupon code is for $13.90. It works on their Super concentrates(referred to as SC in their store, PG-based, $6.95 for 1 oz), and their VG-based flavors($3.95). During checkout shipping costs come up and you can select USPS for about $4. More items in the order will probably too heavy for USPS, thus the 3 order thing. You can do one order for a couple of SCs and pay $4.11 for shipping. That was my 1st one. I'm in the US.
OK I got
chai tea
Vanilla custard
Bread pudding
French toast
Pomagranate
Sweet potato
