4oz Bottle Storage: Update
submitted over 8 years ago by RamboUnchained

So, a couple of weeks ago, I posted this. As promised, this is the follow-up.

I eventually settled on getting this along with some of these.

I transferred my concentrates from their 4oz BCF PET bottles to the 60mL bottles so, I could store more of them and dispense them VIA tip instead of pouring them...pouring SUCKS

That rack holds 54 of those 60mL bottles. It can hold 66 30mL bottles and about 130 10mL bottles. It also holds about 36 of the default 4oz PET bottles from BCF, but I hate them...

Because, I'm a bit OCD, I also got one of these little guys so I could separate my dessert flavors from my fruit flavors. It holds 42 of those 60mL bottles, 54 30mL bottles, or 92 10mL bottles.

And this is my workstation

Someday I hope to upgrade to some of those cool ass shelves. For now I keep everything in Tupperware in the kitchen cupboards, with every bottle labeled or written on the top to find what I need.

I'm using custom 3d printed shelves (like a spice rack) that are mounted to a board and in turn mounted to a wall. All of my flavors are loaded up in front of my work station and can be sorted by flavor and type. It works out really well. http://imgur.com/YzJkRZZ

Dope! I wanted to mount a rack to the wall at first but I would have had to rearrange my entire den and patch up drywall holes where other stuff used to be. Decided to just a get a table instead lol.

Definitely worth the investment. I had bottles EVERYWHERE and my wife wasn't having it.

How much did you get it for?

I don't buy a lot of 4oz bottles, but [these hold] (https://imgur.com/6T2WxvJ) 30ml and smaller bottles pretty well. I just pop these 2 out and grab what I need before mixing.

I need a 3rd. It's a great way to keep the category of flavor organized.

That's not too far off from my Tupperware setup except I have everything jammed in and the names written on top of the bottles. Lol

After using a while you get used to where everything is and even though it sounds messy you know where everything is.

I need to find a solution I have all my flavors stored haphazardly in bags and boxes in my storage room 1 because it's a lightless cool room and 2 I had no organized way to set them up. Im to the point where I am buying 2oz bottles and higher of my main flavors and have about 15 of those as well as 40-50 1oz bottles and probably another 50 of 10ml and 13ml bottles. I just grabbed some condiment squeeze bottles for my VG and PG and I am looking for some sort of spice rack or something that I can sit roughly about 100-150 flavors of assorted sizes in.

Thanks for the pics of your set ups guys and please let me know if you have any budget ideas for organized storage

$28 for those are insane. I have the exact same ones from the dollar store!

Edit: I have a few different kinds and sized but here is my juice storage (the bottle in the back left is a 4oz) and here is one I use for tanks. A buck a piece!

I tried the dollar store, wal Mart, Home Depot, lowes, and dollar general. Amazon had the best price/sq in of storage.

Dollar General is actually where I found these IIRC

For bulk bottle orders just go straight to http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=81154

It is where most of the bottles come from at one point or another and they do sell direct to consumer with alot less markup.

I get everything from 15ml plastic bottles up to 1g jugs from there for splitting and storing liquids. Most of them even have the squirt tips or unicorn caps too.

My family has an obsession for using old filing cabinets as storage. Someone is always selling them for super cheap. I have two for my diy ejuice needs. One cabinet is dedicated to bottles, beakers, syringes, and my magnetic mixer. The other is dedicated to flavoring. I've made racks out of some old Century 21 signs we had lying around (the black ones that you see on lawns) with holes drilled out the same size as 4 oz bottles. I have a fruit drawer, a dairy drawer, a pastry/nut drawer, and a misc drawer. I'm happy with how it turned out. I might post pictures later if I can get unlazy enough.
