Recipe: Blue Waffle
submitted over 8 years ago by loudstarfish

The time has come for me to stop being such an info mooch on this subreddit and start sharing some recipes for you wonderful folks. I'm a sucker for blueberries and breakfast so this is one that has gone through multiple variations until I've found one that I'm happy with.

Blueberry + Bilberry
Pretty self-explanatory. FW Blueberry has been my favourite blueberry I've found this far because it's relatively natural tasting, yet sweet without being to candyish. Bilberry is there to bring blueberry a little further forward in the vape.

Belgian Waffle
This is the base of the whole recipe. Delicious waffle with a hint of syrup.

Cookie (Biscotto)
You guys taste cookie, I taste butter. I didn't want to resort to using Golden Butter or another pure butter flavouring partially because I never seem to have any on hand, and mostly because I've never seen a reason to use anything but Cookie.

Sweet Cream + Whipped Cream
I always found Whipped Cream to be a little too sugary and light, so I add Sweet Cream to the mix to make it less canned rediwhip, and more hand-beaten whipped cream.

Cinnamon Spice
Purely optional. I just like the taste of cinnamon as long as it's not overbearing.

Brown Sugar (Extra)
Also optional, I just find it lends itself well to Belgian. It mellows out the aftertaste of the waffle and adds to the syrup.

Not bad as a shake and vape, but tastes best after a 2 week steep.

Damn, but this looks tasty. Do you think regular old Waffle (TPA) would work as a substitute for the Belgian here? It's the only flavor I don't have, and this is looking rather promising!

You could give it a try. I found regular waffle to be a little dry. It also lacks the syrup note that Belgian does really well.

I was checking out BCF and could only find FA Cookie. Are Cookie (Biscotto) and cookie the same?

Yes.
