I've been playing around with tobacco recipes, and this one has really grabbed my tongue. It is a tobacco forward vape with just the right amount fruit to make it righteously appealing to tobacco heads and fruit lovers alike. With only 4 ingredients, it is extremely simple and quick to make.
Ingredient | Percentage ---|--- FA 7 Leaves Ultimate | 6% FA Desert Ship | 1.5% FA Fuji | 1% FA Blackcurrant | 0.75%
FA 7 Leaves Ultimate serves as the tobacco base with slightly dry woodsy tobacco notes and hints of licorice, molasses, and spice. I had to really push this percentage to bring out the sweeter spice notes.
FA Desert Ship provides a touch of sweetness and adds depth to the tobacco base, almost fooling you into thinking you're vaping fresh moist pipe tobacco.
FA Fuji we all know about the wonderful FA Fuji. At 1 %, it adds a nice apple back note to the tobacco without taking over the mix.
FA Blackcurrant compliments the FA Fuji, brightening up the apple taste and adding some depth. If this was a a commercial juice, I think this ingredient would be tough to figure out. At 0.75%, you can't really tell it's there, but you would know you're missing something if it were to be left out.
This gets the Charlie Noble seal of approval. I make something similar once in a while with a little vanilla and marshmallow instead of the Desert Ship.
With some fig and almonds? ;) Tripoli completes me. I want to bath in it, drink it, and be embalmed with it so I can live forever...
How much licorice notes would you say?
Want to dive into tobacco and have a few of these but am absolutely turned off by licorice as it's a love/hate thing it seems.
On a scale of 1-10, I would put it closer to a 1. It's something subtle I pick up when I vape the flavor solo, but it definitely does not bring black licorice to the profile here at all.
Edit: Wanted to note that I am not a huge fan of black licorice either, and 7 leaves might not even hint at that for you.
Is this anything like "Legend" from HHV? I used to like that stuff a long time ago before I started mixing.
Never heard of it. Do the profiles match, or what is it?

I don't know if they really match since I haven't mixed yours up yet but I will today. What do you recommend for steeping?
