Philosopher's Milk

#Philosopher's Milk

TFA Strawberry Ripe 2%

TFA Dragon fruit 1%

FW Kiwi 1%

TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 2%

TFA Malted Milk 1.5% (0.75% FW hazelnut is a suitable substitute)

FA Vienna Cream 1.5%

FA Fresh Cream 1%

So I've been working on this one for a few months now and I'm finally ready to share it! This is my strawberry kiwi recipe I hope you like it.

TFA Strawberry Ripe/ FW Kiwi/ TFA Dragonfruit

These make up the fruity deliciousness AKA the top note! The strawberry kiwi by itself is great but the addition of the Dragonfruit really makes it pop out of the front end. It's a veritable explosion of flavor.

TFA VBIC/ TFA Malted Milk/ FA Vienna Cream/ FA Fresh Cream

This is the milkshake. The body is provided by the VBIC all the wholesome goodness you need in a milkshake. Malted Milk gives us a solid maltiness where we need it, and fresh cream lends a great dairy booster. Vienna Cream really brings the whole thing together like magic.

Steep time is one week but two is better!

If you have these ingredients I really hope you try this and tell me what you think!

Edit: format and updated with substitution note.

/u/PerennialPhilosopher would ya mind adding the recipe flair to this. Looks good, and naturally I don't have 1 flavor (MM), the story of my life.

How do I add recipe flair?

I think as the author, if ya go into edit, at the bottom of the editing window, ther's an option for flair.

Subbing FW Kiwi for TPA Kiwi Double is doable? I have no idea how FW Kiwi tastes like.

Also is there a sub for Malted Milk?

This looks so good, but i'm missing those two, sadly.

I'm not sure about kiwi double. It might be do-able, the Malted Milk could be subbed with TFA cheesecake Graham crust but it will be different. I really recommend picking up those flavors

I don't have malted milk so what I do in a lot of recipes that calls for is is use fw hazelnut.

DAMMIT!! I almost have everything for this, and I just placed my order with Gremlin a day ago. Does that happen to anyone else, or do I have crap for luck when it comes to new recipes?

The only thing I don't have is the kiwi (Chinese gooseberry). Real kiwi hurts my throat and makes my mouth itch and tingle so I've stayed away from it.

Does anybody know if that kiwi allergy translates to vape as well?

That's an allergy to fruit, and no it does not.

I'm allergic to kiwi as well albeit a mild allergy. I can vape kiwi flavorings fine as it doesn't translate into chemical flavorings. To my knowledge the only flavoring that might induce allergy (well, part from VG/PG sensitivity/allergy) is peanut flavorings such as FLV Peanut for example.

Here's a good thread about allergy related stuff (albeit mainly about the Peanut flavor you mentioned)

Mmm Strawberry Kiwi, sound delicious.

Bookmarking this for my next purchase order, thank you very much for sharing.

Do you recon the recipe is "smooth to vape"? I seem to be oversensitive to some of the harsh hit you sometimes get for flavourings and currently I've raised my nicotine levels at a 6, which is giving me plenty of throat hit by itself.

3 is better for the throat hit for me personally, but it just doesn't work. I start vaping way too much.

I think it's smooth. Nicotine is the main source of throat hit I believe. You could always make it at 80/20 or even 90/10 but the steep time will go up

Perfect. Definitely agree that nicotine is most responsible for throat hit, but some flavours tend to make 6mg feel quite nice and soft, and some flavours tend to make it unenjoyable for me.
