A Simple Apple Yoghurt
submitted over 8 years ago by Fuzzy05Diketones, Schmiketones

Since there are not that many yoghurt recipes in this sub i decided to create a apple yoghurt vape. The profile i was going for was quite simple, im not a fan of tart yogurts. I like the sweet, slighty tart commercial yoghurts. So i made a slightly tart apple yoghurt. This vape will give you a dense, slightly tart kinda heavy, apple yoghurt vape. It gives you a nice dense yoghurty like apple inhale with a slight touch of tartness with a classic yoghurt exhale with some apple nuances. This is the first recipe im posting and im hoping you will enjoy it. :)

Flavor|%| :--|:--| FA Fuji|2.5| CAP Creamy Yoghurt|5| TFA Marshmallow|1| TFA Vanilla Custard|1|

Recommended steep time: 3 or more days.

FA Fuji: This is an obvious choice, it delivers a combination between a tart green apple and a sweet red apple. This flavor forms the top note in this recipe.

CAP Creamy Yoghurt: This is the base of the recipe. The reason why i chose this is because it delivers a slightly tart, commercial yoghurt. Which isn't to sour for what im going for.

TFA Marshmallow: I used TFA Marshmallow as support for the Creamy Yoghurt. This flavor makes the yoghurt base more dense and gives a nice mouthfeel while also sweetening it.

TFA Vanilla Custard: I wanted to give some more complexity to the yoghurt base and i felt this was the way to go, i thought about adding CAP Vanilla Custard v1 but i realised that was not going to work out because CAP VC v1 was to eggy.

Little disclaimer: Sorry if the formatting is bad im posting this from my phone also english isn't my native language so sorry for possible mistakes. Enjoy.

EDIT: Formatting

Seems a little strange but I happen to have all of these so I think I'll give it a shot. Thanks for posting this

What seems strange about it? Im still learning the ropes of creating recipes though. Im always open for some good critism on how i could make this better. :)

I have just never in life seen apples and yogurt paired. It my be that I have just missed out but its not a combo that I would have considered. It intrigued me so please don't take strange as a slight as I'm looking forward to trying this and hopefully expanding my horizons a bit

There are yogurt companies that make apple yogurt with actual apple chunks. It's actually really freaking good.

I have a very similar recipe. I add a bit of FLV Boysenberry and CAP Harvest Berry

How did it go? Do you like the recipe?

Just wanted to let you know that I tried the recipe and really enjoyed it. The addition of vanilla custard really gave a deep rich base for the yoghurt that I normally find missing and the apple was much more subtle than expected all and all a great vape

I mix one day a week which happens to be today so I should be able to report back in just a few days after it steeps. I will make sure to let you know

What if I have TFA Greek yogurt and TFA Apple- what percentage would you go with?

I feel like both of those flavourings are not going to work, here is why. TFA Greek Yoghurt is a tart yoghurt wich is completely the opposite of what i was going for. TFA Apple lacks depth by itself while FA Fuji delivers enough complexity to be a top note on its own. If you have something that can compliment the apple with (pear?) you could try making a tart yoghurt using TFA Greek Yoghurt but i dont think the additives to my yoghurt base are going to work with TFA GY since TFA GY is so much different than CAP Creamy Yoghurt.

Do you have TFA vanilla bean ice cream? If yes I'd try ;

2% tpa apple

2% tpa Vanilla bean ice cream

1% tpa Greek yoghurt

And as tpa apple is not greatest flavour depth wise I'd throw extra 1.5-2% of either strawberry, strawberry ripe, dragonfruit or believe me or not tpa cantaloupe mix well with most fruits @1% adding them extra layer of juicyness. If not reply to this post with flavours you own and I can make you up some similar receipe.

I give you one big thumb up for posting recipe with actually less than 10% flavour total (sick of seeing recipes asking for 15-20-25% total flavour, I have no intention to even try recipe like this, I could just as well inject flavour concentrate between my ribs straight into lungs) and second plus for realistic steep time (if you're asking me to make juice and don't vape it for 2-3weeks then your recipe is simply shit, get over it). If I ever get my hands on Fa Fuji I'm more than happy to try it as I own rest of ingredients.
