Jungle flavors Sweet Strawberry
submitted over 8 years ago by SynysterjesterxPâtissier

Setup

Wismec neutron rda. 3x28g 316l claptons wrapped with 40g ni80. 5 wrap, 0.17 ohm

  • JF Sweet strawberry at 3% max VG aged 1 week

Main notes

  • Syrup
  • Sugar
  • Artificial Strawberry
  • Bubblegum?
  • Dryness

Thoughts It's a decent strawberry flavor. Compliments just about any candy/artificial Strawberry recipe you may have. It takes a bit to taste right to me. Not a shake and vape strawberry.

Final thoughts Great syrup strawberry. Candyish and sweet. Lasting flavor for long cure times. Potent at low percentages.

Definite buy if you're looking for a different candy strawberry.

Second these points, really good but clearly present at 2-3% even in a mix, but needs a short 4-5 day steep at least to smooth out. It goes really well with FA red touch in a simple strawb. & Cream mix if you dont mind letting it sit for a while :)

I enjoy it mixed with red touch also!

What % would you suggest for the sb&c?

3% each and adjust from there :)

How was the throat for you? I liked the flavor in this one but it was either always harsh or too light on flavor from going too low with it.

1% too light, 3% too harsh but good flavor. Tried 2% and I think it was still a little harsh but not too bad. Tried in a mix too (Wayne's) and it was very underwhelming.

So far it seems I'm one of the only or few people who experience this so I'd like to hear what others' thoughts are on this aspect

It's best paired with Strawberry Ripe to bring the deeper, sweeter flavour rather than as a solo. It's much like INW Shisha Strawberry in that regard.

I could see that for sure, but then again I think all Strawberry recipes benefit from a little bit of SBR =)

True enough!

sounds like it would work better than cap sweet stb for that combo as cap tends to fade pretty quickly.

CAP S.Straw is the last one i'll use with Ripe. I'll go with JF S.Straw, FA red touch, INW shisha strawberry in that order depending on what I happen to have. CAP's offering isn't the best option these days.

I don't get much in the throat at all. I'm using it at 3.5 right now and it's smooth.
