[Crown Clouds] Retired Flavors Recipe Dump
submitted over 8 years ago by JQWebco

Hello everyone, around a month ago my company Crown Clouds ceased the production of many old flavors we didn't believe lived up to our current standards. These are all still great flavors, they are just old and not up the same par of the juice that we currently make. Since we aren't producing them any more I thought I might as well release a dump of the recipes so at least someone can get some use of them!

edit If you haven't tried these flavors before and decide to mix them up feel free to posts your opinion on the result here, I'd love here what you all think of our old flavors! We're also running a reddit exclusive sale on our website, if you'd like to try out our current flavors that are still in stock check out our post over in /r/electronic_cigarette/ for details.

edit #2 To clear up some confusion, our former Reddit account is /u/CrownClouds , I created this account to be able to post across several sub reddits not pertaining to vaping so I wouldn't have to identify as my E-Juice company (username wise) via each one.

Question: what does the FW Peanut Butter do in the apples and cream blend? Thanks for the recipes btw

The peanut butter is mostly a blending flavor in this recipe since it's such a small amount, it provides a little extra sweetness (not as much as the caramel tho) but it also helps mellow out the apple taste. I've noticed without the peanut butter in this recipe the apple comes off too strong and doesn't mix well with the creams other wise.

always love seeing a company drop off their recipes that are on the way out. Thank you!

Thanks for the dump. And the first thing I noticed was .... no added sweeteners.

Very nice of you to drop old recipes so we can try them out! Unfortunately, a little too in depth for my mixing (2-3 flav mixes) but that's why you have a business and make complex flavours

Just keep at it and over time you'll learn more and more about how different flavorings react together to create unique flavors. Before you know it you could even be making flavors better than my own company's! (;

Maybe, but I find a simple blend can really be awesome if mixed at correct percentages. I've tried some complicated recipes and I feel like some flavours just fall behind. Thanks though will save it for later!

Absolutely, not every recipe needs to be complex. I've got tons of personal favorite recipes that are just 3 flavorings. When it comes to the more advanced recipes with 5+ flavorings it can be hard to find the right percentages where flavors won't mask each other, but over time you'll learn the right ways to mix more and more flavorings to create the perfect tastes you desire. If you ever have any questions or are stumped on a recipe you're trying feeling free to DM me, I'm always happy to help fellow DIYers!

Companies?!!! Any of them have "mafia" in the name? If so, probably include instruction to throw away money, make sure bottles leak, etc, just so we can feel like we're enjoying the real thing. :p

Whoops, meant company's*. Good catch though lol, I work plenty of hours running just one juice company I couldn't imagine running a series of different companies haha.

Thanks for sharing :) Have you ever tried the Apples & Cream using TFA Peanut Butter rather than FW? It's what I have on hand for now.

2 points

by JQWebcoover 8 years ago

I haven't actually used TFA's peanut butter yet, been meaning to order some for a while. Peanut butter is one of the flavors I rarely use, try making two small batches; one with and one w/o the peanut butter to see how it affects the flavor. It should help blend the Apple & Cream flavors together, muting the slight harshness of the apple that prevails when first mixed. If the TFA peanut butter doesn't work as the FW's in this case you could always try a few drops of EM + .5-1% marshmallow (FA) as a replacement!
