I think a lot of us will find such a thread useful and learn from others' mistakes / mixing mishaps. For example, I have noticed that Shisha Vanilla drowns the "bite" from tobaccos even in low percentages. TFA Malted Milk mutes high fruity notes.
Here's a pretty good rule of thumb:
- Fruits are muted by heavy creams and sweeteners
- Creams are muted by heavy or excess bakeries
- Bakeries can be muted or covered up by spices
- NOTHING mutes menthol
I thought FA Joy + CAP Vanilla Custard (plus some other stuff, of course, but I was able to isolate the problem to these two) would be an obvious choice for making donut juice. LOL Nope. It acts like Joy has actual yeast in it that gets into that yummy CAP VCV1 and multiplies there. Mmmmm tasty vanilla yeast infection juice.
> Mmmmm tasty vanilla yeast infection juice.
So it's not that bad then. I'd name the mix 'wife juice'.
Ewwww
TFA smooth will mute the fuck out of everything.
ethyl maltol will mute fruits.
