Scaling up flavour % ?

So quick question to anyone who has tried this.

I have finally got round to making some Grack Juice and ...well it's awesome. Love grape, it's tasty as hell.

Only thing is my taste buds are shot to hell and I find it a little on the mellow side.

I don't want to ruin the flavour profile so I was thinking, could I increase each flavour by 1/2 (or 1/4) each thus keeping the flavour profile but making a more punchy flavour?

I was thinking of increasing each by 1/2 =

I'm just interested if scaling up flavours would keep the flavour profile or ruin it all together for anyone who has tried.

Also thanks to @Philosaphucker for this recipe as it's a great mix.

Another option is using unflavored base for a few days to reset your taste buds and flavor perception. Liquids will start tasting awesome again after that.

Sounds like you need to switch to a different flavor profile for a bit, drink more water, etc. if you have vapers tongue, increasing the flavor percentage will only make it worse.

Wish I could but only ordered 10ml of each flavour for the Grack and used that on a 200ml mix last night.

Il give it a go but won't be for 2-3 weeks until I get another order in. It was just on the off chance anyone else has tried it before. In theory it would work but could make it too overpowering

Why would you mix 200ml of something you've never vaped before...

Always do incase I like it, saves having to keep small and big bottles of each mix

Personally I think you'll be really disappointed if you did try to mix this as shown in the op.

1.5% koolada? I made the mistake of mixing 2% koolada (and 10%.....) once. I won't make that mistake again.

Let what you have steep and then see if it's still not what you want. He recommends a 7 day steep. From there you can decide what you'd like to be stronger... but I imagine you might get some pretty gnarly off flavors.

You have to increase each flavour by the same percentage, say 10%, which would make 1.5% koolada 1.65%, 6% drsgonfruit to 6.6% etc.

This way you keep the same flavour profile, but boost flavour - just adding x% to all would mess it up.

I am glad that you like it! I would address the vapers tongue issue. Increasing the concentration of concentrates can make the problem worse and waste flavoring.
If your problem with your taste buds is permanent (my condolences for such a serious and debilitating condition), scaling up by 10% as /u/TacoKou suggested seems reasonable.

Cheers philosaphucker for your input. It's not that taste is gone entirely but it's definitely muted some degree so I tend to like the stronger flavours. It's great how delicate your mix is and how each flavour softly compliments the other. I actually liken it very much to aloe Vera juice but it has to be

Any other aloe Vera juice is pretty nasty stuff. Hosan aloe Vera is amazing and your liquid is pretty much that eliquified lol amazing

I'm actually curious if anyone has done any sort of personal research on the "double"-ing the flavors. Like for instance in a log(x) situation like watts on amps a 1000W amp will put out roughly double the loudness of a 100W amp.

But for flavors is x2 really always "doubling" the flavor?

I've been curious about this. But I always tend to overcomplicate it trying to implement Phi or harmonic series in there.

No. It's a given fact that adding more flavor will not automatically give it more flavor. Depending on the recipe, it could also ruin it.

Not what I mean. I would like to further study the limits of how pushing each flavoring affects the "flavourfullness" But I feel like each CAS chemical would have it's own individual response to changes in percent.

In addition to how much PG is in the concentrate vs flavoring volatiles.

I haven't done that, but I will often halve a recipe that looks good but is on the higher percentage side of total flavoring.

I'm still very new so this may be out there... but when I mix Rhodonite I premix all of the flavors into a separate bottle at proper %'s. Then, using that base I can mix up Rho at whatever % of flavoring that I want (I love it at 11% base flavoring compared to 9.25% in the original recipe). It also makes it much easier to mix up large batches when your base recipe is already prepped.

Top tip glassholer thanks, never thought about doing it that way tbh which is a bit daft of me since I have bought one shot flavours which are the same thing. Mix up a home made one shot of grack would be awesome and mean I can mix quick when needed. Nice one

I do the same for one of my ADV's. Its at 14% flavor which is usually perfect, but when i want to use it in the myjet i have to bump it up to 22-25% and this method helps with calculation & time
