Success! And, most important, thank you, DIY_eJuice!

A couple days ago, I mixed a recipe that I found on another site (It was called "HICs Swiss Cocoa Candy".) It was a cocoa flavor that sounded great to me. It's a shake-and-vape and I like it, but it has too much chocolate, and what I wanted was cocoa.

Thanks to reading the sidebar that you folks kindly provided, and lurking and questioning people on here far more knowledgeable than I'll ever be, I was able to tweak it just a little bit and put together something that I can vape every day. I just went through a 5 ml tank of it and am working on my second 5 ml. I'm going to make at least 30 ml tomorrow, and will do 120 if I have enough stuff. I've also, thanks to you, discovered that my nicotine is most likely oxidized and will need replacement.

Here's my final recipe:

  • TFA Acetyl Pyrazine 1.5%
  • FA Chocolate 0.5%
  • FA Cocoa 6.0%
  • 2 drops of Super Sweet per 15 ml, to provide the sweetness that cutting back on the chocolate eliminated.

(If you want the original, leave out the Super Sweet and do 5% chocolate and cocoa.)

I want to express my gratitude to you folks. I literally could not have done this without your help and the resources you've provided to me and to others. Thank you!

R.I.P. coils

We hardly knew ye

Yeah, I know...I used to use another cocoa flavor I got at a local store, years ago. I loved it, and this DIY blend is pretty close to it. It, too, gunked up my coils quickly, to the point where it tasted musty. I think the coil, once gunked, would make the rest of the juice in the tank taste bad, too, if I didn't change it quickly.

Looks like it could benefit from adding a cream or marshmallow

I've been wondering if something like that would help. I have some Bavarian Cream and some Dairy Milk and was curious about how one or both of those would do. I also wondered about VBIC, which I have. I'll probably experiment with all three later today.

Note that FA Cocoa tends to gunk coils (leave a residue that tastes burnt) quite fast, adding anything sweet will speed that up even more.

That FA Cocoa + Chocolate + AP combo is magic.

It sure is. Not that I knew about it before now, but it's wonderful.

That's a LOT of FA Cocoa, and a lot of AP. Taste is subjective and as long as you like it more power to you, but from experience I can tell, you will be rewicking every few days. FA Cocoa is a known coil gunker.

I knew it would be coill-killer, but boy, is it good! It won't be my ADV, but it could be.

I hate TFA Acetyl Pyrazine so much... I can taste the smallest amount in just about anything, and it just kills every mix it's in for me.

I picked up Wayne's RHODONITE concentrate because I figured "hey, everybody seems to like it, and I don't feel like purchasing each of the individual flavors so I'll give it a go."

Now he has the Acetyl Pyrazine listed as "optional" in the actual recipe for the mix... but it must be in the concentrates he sells because I can taste it right off the bat (now, if it isn't really in there "I've never actually asked him" I would be shocked)... and probably need to rethinking my life.

Anyway, sorry for the weird post on your soda talk.

Hey, it's all good. I'd never heard of Rhodonite before, so I learned something.
