TFA Ripe Banana... Dangerous?
submitted over 8 years ago by ENFIVEs

Hey, I have some TFA Ripe Banana which I've been using, and ignoring the fact that I believe I've made it far too strong (around 6% etc) is it dangerous since I've had it sitting in plastic bottles? The actual liquid is cloudy, and since it's too strong I might throw it away anyway... but is it safe, and are the bottles safe to use after? They're PAT bottles if that makes any difference?

You might as well toss it. I can't imagine vaping 6% of TFA Ripe Banana when 1% is potent as fuck.

If you reuse the bottle, good luck trying to taste anything other than banana runts, lmao.

Yeah I think I will! haha :)

Ah right, you don't think there's anyway to get rid of the taste? I suppose it's maybe not worth the hassle at like £1 a bottle or whatever. Thanks for your help! :)

I would suggest alcohol but as you've aptly mentioned, it's a cheap, plastic bottle that's not worth the risk or hassle. Just use glass next time.

Ah ok so would you recommend glass in place of all my plastic ones or just for certain flavours? Like is it worth having the plastic ones there for testing etc?

Where do you get your bottles? They shouldn't cost a pound a piece, you can get them cheaper on eBay.

It's not a bad flavor it just needs to be used in the .25-.5 % range from my experience

I'm glad it's not just me! I might try it with vanilla bean gelato and some sweet cream or marshmallow at like 1% and maybe then it will be nice?

Yeah I think it will be good with vanilla bean ice cream that was my next idea. Definitely 1% though!! I think it should be quite a faithful flavour, made my bag smell like overripe banana when I left my vape in it.

You could just mix it into a larger batch to mellow out the banana. As for reusing the bottles... I wouldn't. Then again, I don't really reuse my glass bottles often unless I'm filling it with exactly what was in there already.

You don't even reuse glass ones? This must be somewhat more expensive for you! Haha

I get them with the dripper for about 40-60 cents per bottle. It's not too bad.

That's actually a lot cheaper than I thought they'd be. These from eBay too? Also when I've looked I've seen a lot of brown glass bottles, are these still ok to use?
