Peanut Banana Cream
submitted over 8 years ago by Valium777

Hello people! This is one of my first experiments with peanut butter and it turned out to be a really delicious, all day vape. So Check this out!

LA Banana Cream 3% TFA DX Peanut Butter 3% TFA Bavarian Cream 3% FA Meringue 2%

Steeping: 1-2 days, also good as shake and vape.

The main note: LA Banana Cream give a well rounded, slightly jelly banana taste, I don't recommend higher concentrations because it tends to be strong The base: TFA peanut butter really dry and faithful, with a little bit of meringue to round it up it provides a great base for the banana and you can feel it on the exale The accent: I used TFA Bavarian Cream to provide an extra caramel note even though at this concentration it tends to stay mainly in the background, I will try next time to bring it up a bit.

Looks great. I don't have meringue, any recommendations for a substitute? Sweet cream? Catalan cream? Malted milk? Fresh cream?

There isn't one. It's used as a sweetener and adds a creamy icy taste to the mix.

You're doing your self a disservice not owning it. It's one of my most used concentrates and I know a lot of others use it religiously.

I get more of a toasted crisp flavor from meringue. I love it in recipes that need a little extra crisp. The smell subtlety reminds me of rice crispies in a way. Are my tasters broken?

Please don't ignore what chewy said, meringue is important

Meringue is to unique to sub out. FA meringue and TPA meringue are must haves. I use FA meringue much more tho

I didn't try any of those but the idea is to sweeten up the peanut butter that otherwise is just too dry and earthy, I would say sweet cream maybe. If you do it just let me know.

Maybe I'll try it with sweet cream. I added meringue to my shopping list.

This should give me a place to start with my newly acquired TFA Peanut Butter. Thanks!

Figured you'd start with a Peanut Butter & Cactus sandwich.

Goes well with some FW Hazelnut. Man, I wish there was an amazing honey flavor to use in a peanut butter and honey recipe

I tried previously the PB with the hazelnut but IMO this covers too much, maybe just at 1% will do the job

I've never used FW Hazelnut above 1%

I'm working on a banana butterscotch cream right now, [FLV Cream] is a great neutral base to work with. Might try some Meringue in the next batch, it might work well with the Cream Cheese Icing

Getting close to finished with my own banana peanut butter custard, maybe that meringue will add in the extra thick and creamy feel I've been after. Thanks for the recipe and for the idea!

This stuff is delicious. reminds me of a peanut butter and banana sandwich i used to make pretty often. although it's missing the sandwich half of it... mixed 30ml at 1.5mg. shook and let it mingle for about 12 hours.

I used the not DX version of TFA PB.

Thanks

E: 30ml wasn't enough. made another 120.

Maybe some TFA banana nut bread would help with the err bready part!??

Maybe I'm way off the reservation, but I like honey roasted peanut butter. Would adding a touch of honey flavor do this a disservice?

i tried a peanut butter ice cream flavor once and just hated it, its definitely sorta like pb, but its also kinda unrecognizable as in friends were like wtf is this. the ice cream was non existent and it felt like it coated my mouth. coulda been the extract, but def not for me.
