What is your VG/PG ratio? Also I've never used TFA strawberry wild before but those %s look a little too high. CAP vanilla custard v1 can be used like that but you could try dialing it down a notch or two.

For sweetener that's up to you. I don't add any to mine but there are plenty of people who do. A quick search will give you lots of info on that

EM isn't just a sweetener, it's a modifier. It will sweeten, but it can mute some flavors and can also enhance some flavors, unlike just plain sweetener.

These are the same thing.

TFA Sweetener is 5% Maltol, 5% Sucralose, PG, and water. If you want a true sweetener, looks for something that is 10% sucralose or go crazy with CAP Super Sweet which is somewhere around 20% sucralose.

I'd avoid all of the above at first if you are trying to hone your skills as a mixer. EM and sweeteners can cover up nuances in recipes. If you are a bit more skilled, definitely play around with them. If you search this sub you will find a ton of threads about their benefits and their drawbacks. They affect flavors differently.

I want to say the butterscotch, but it's more likely to be a combination of several of the ingredients. While reducing or substituting the likely culprits may fix this, it will come at the cost of flavor. It won't taste the same. One thing you can try before plunging into unknown territory is to reduce the total amount of flavoring, scaling the recipe down linearly. At 15% total flavoring, you have plenty of leeway. Try 10%.

You can also tell it to list all of the recipes you could make if only you had just one more flavor or just two more flavors, which is a fun feature if you're trying to decide which flavors or order next. I'm not sure whether you have to have a paid account to do it.

You want the 24mg NIC juice to be 1/8 of the total. 24/8=3. So for the 30ml, that represents 7/8 of the total when both are mixed. 30/7 = ~4.3 to get 1/8 of the total solution. So if you add 4.3ml of 24mg nic to the 30ml you will get 34.3ml of 3mg flavoured juice. For the 60 ml of course add 8.6ml. someone please check my maths. Edit: remember to shake both parts of the mix well be for and after mixing. You may have to transfer the 0nic juice to a bigger container before adding the 24nic juice.

TPA/TFA Bavarian Cream, CAP Sugar Cookie, Hazelnut, Vanilla Custard and TPA/TFA RY4 Double will get you somewhere nice. I'm not sure on percentages. I'd look at [PRY4-U] (https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/3354#the_new_pistachio_ry4_u_by_enyawreklaw) for a start.

TFA Blackberry is really good IMO. It is slightly sweet, leaning a little towards candy. Very strong too. Goes well with my favorite Blueberry, FW.

In this month's recipe thread I posted a simple recipe using both. Even at that ratio the black is almost overtaking the blue. Just a great combo to experiment with.

Try some FA Bilberry. Like Blueberry but a little darker.

I thought Blueberry Extra was a little disappointing...haven't had FW Blueberry, but many have said it's their favorite.

Glass is going to be best for long term storage

Starting with larger bottles isn't a good idea. If you make 250-500mL of a recipe and find out that you don't like it, you're fucked. Start with 30mL or smaller. If you enjoy the recipe after making a 30mL of it, then go larger.

Glass is best (specifically amber) for storage and re-usability.

That highly depends on the flavors you're using. E.g. your average FlavourArt flavor is much stronger than a TPA flavor. The mixing sites usually have an average/median percentage for every flavor based on the recipes on that site (e.g. AllTheFlavours or ELR).

The flavor reviews here are a good resource as well.

If you need a ballpark figure, I've rarely seen recipes with more than 20% flavor, usually more around 8-16%.

Holy TFA Blackberry! Back it way down, that's insane. 1% or less. It is a great flavor, just really strong for TFA. And I would scratch the FA for now. I haven't had FLV Yogurt, how is it?

I have the other yogurts you listed, and IMO Cap Creamy is the winner here. Start simple, like 5% Cap CY and .75% TFA Blackberry. Give it at least a week to cure before changing/adding anything. At the same time make a couple iterations using the other yogurts. Reg FW especially, it is pretty nice. Look back at last month's recipe thread, the top-voted recipe uses it.

This may sound strange, but a small amount of FW blueberry compliments the blackberry nicely.

I love this one: Blue Frost. Note how other blue raz flavors are used to complement the OSDIY and improve on it. That's what I'd do. Skip the cactus and pear and marshmallow until you've done some work and really think those are needed. Keep the Hard Candy of course because that's a major part of what you're trying to do. But try some other raz flavors with your OSDIY and Hard Candy and see which ones work with it.

You test with RDA's. It's better to use one dedicated to that job and you can make the wicks much smaller than usual to get a good 2-3 hits.

I mean, you could test them however you want, it's just a question of practicality.

that means it's a 10% dilution of koolada which is how it comes you don't have to worry about diluting it further. just had in however much the recipe calls for.

Koolada 10% is the manufacturers name for the product. You can ignore the 10%. Most people will just call it koolada.

I think your % are off on a few ingredients. I like Koolada and use it .8% thats about 2 little drops per 5ml and most people start with less. Your MTS should be used at very low percentages also or just skip it all together. The lime is crazy high, never used either one over 2%.

Shake until your arm is tired. Separate into smaller glass bottles if you desire. Steeping time won't be affected by the nicotine ratio if you are going to have a final ratio of 70/30.

i exclusively use VG based nic. Shake it anywhere from 2-5 minutes depending on how long it sat. it'd probably be a good idea to get a nicotine test kit to make sure your levels are on point.

VG nic is better, though it is less viscous. VG nic oxidizes less than PG nic due to its higher molecular weight. VG protects the nicotine from oxidation better.

Don't shake your nicotine concentrate. Air oxidizes nicotine. If the manufacturer recommends to shake their nicotine, it's an indication of badly manufactured nicotine. You may have to shake that, yet consider purchasing from a different manufacturer.

yes. yes it does. some vendors are more or less concentrated than others so you'd end up more to achieve the sameish taste which translates to higher cost per bottle. some companies may have the same type of flavor... say strawberry where one companies strawberry is very authentic while a different companies may be more candyish while a thirds may be more jammy. some companies just plain make a better particular flavor than others.

My 2 cents. Pick out a few well-regarded recipes that appeal to you, and have POSITIVE feedback. Then buy just those flavors needed. Maybe picking up a few extra flavors to play with AFTER reading the reviews for them. The flavor review list in the sidebar is really growing nicely! Alternatively alltheflavors.com is a great resource too.

Vendor depends on where you are located. There isn't really a best PG/VG to use, although Essential Depot is quite popular. No idea about the PG/VG from FB but I would imagine it is fine.

My advice: Don't buy a flavoring without a purpose. First pick out recipes you wish to try before buying concentrates. Visit http://e-liquid-recipes.com/ and sort by rating, so the top rated juices are at the top. Not that they are all good, cause their not, but the better ones tend to settle at the top. There's a ton of hype garbage recipes from certain individuals and groups - but you'll eventually figure out who's hype, and who's not. Review the recipes found on this forum too, and pick out a handful or two of recipes that you think you may like, and some that you feel may be interesting. Avoid picking multiple recipes from the same creator cause you'll likely hit a hyper. Write down the concentrates you need in a list.

Plan to make only 10 to 30ml's of each of the recipes you have picked out. Figure out the volumes of each ingredient your going to buy to make all your recipes and add that to your list. You won't like most of the recipes, so why waste the ingredients.

Purchase the lowest cost concentrates for the volume you need of the recipes you have picked out. Theres no need to get everything at one place at one time - and you'll find yourself repurchasing from the suppliers quite often. Gremlindiy is excellent for first time purchases since they have the smallest 5ml sizes, and cheap shipping. Go with the 5ml every time, unless you know you need more to make the recipes your interested in crafting. Their VG is top shelf excellent too and the best I have found from every vendor. Bullcity and ecx are also excellent low cost suppliers for concentrates and supplies. If gremlin doesn't have it, these other two should. You'll likely purchase from all of them eventually.

Buy the best nicotine you can find. See Carolina Extracts VG. You may be able to tolerate other nicotines as well, but if your nicotines garbage, all your mixes will be garbage too. Especially if you're vaping higher nic strength eliquids. The most 'popular' nicotine is hyped garbage nicotine. Avoid it unless your ok with vaping science projects.

Once you get your components, mix up your recipes, and let them sit in a cool dark place for 14 days unopened before deciding if you like them or not. Don't streep, breath, heat, or use an Ultra sonic cleaner. Just mix your concentrates into a bottle and shake the hell out of it, than let it sit. Maybe another shake the next day, but that's it. Don't open the bottle to smell it - let it steep undisturbed. Some recipes that require longer steep times are often noted on the recipes. A juice mixed yesterday will not resemble what that same juice will taste like once it steeps adequately.

Mix in glass bottles - if your mixing 30ml, mix in a 30ml bottle. Avoid extra air space in the bottle as it will change the taste of your finished product (IOW don't mix 30ml in a 240ml bottle). Mixes in LDPE will steep faster, but also will go bad and oxidize quickly. If your not keeping them around long before consuming, their fine. But if they'll sit on your shelf for a few months, avoid ldpe bottles for mixing.

TFA Caramel Original contains sugar syrup if I am not mistaken.

Sounds like the nicotine is bad quality or you're storing it incorrectly. Where did you get it, and how do you store it?

The harshness of nicotine will start to numb your throat as your continually hit it. The warming up might just be correlation, not causation.

Mix a batch without nic, see how that is. If you still taste bitter/peppery, then post up the exact recipe.

Take 19.5ml of the 1.5mg/ml juice you made and add .5ml of your 100mg nic to make 20ml of 4mg/ml juice.

Are you trying to make a 20 ml batch at 4 mg? Where's the extracting 20 ml coming from?

i think fuji at 2.5-3% and cactus at .25-.5% and some koolada would make something totally vapeable until you get the rest of your supplies but i love fuji and cactus so it could just be me.

CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl has some bakery notes too, so if you just add that it's going to throw the balance off. I think adding around 2% CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl would be the best fit with those other flavors, but to make that work would take some experimenting with slightly reducing the amount of Yellow Cake and Choco Glazed Donuts to accommodate that added bready stuff. Can't know exactly how much to reduce without experimenting, but maybe something like shaving 0.25% off of the Yellow Cake and 1% off of the Choco Glazed.

It would be a lot easier to just add the FA Cinnamon Ceylon to taste, changing nothing else. I wouldn't start with 1%. Try a small batch with 0.5% first and see if you think it needs more or less in your next batch.

the only pg you have is nic? what calc are you using? is your hypothetical flavoring vg or pg based? wait, if the nic you have is 25mg/ml you shouldn't be using calculations based on 50mg/ml.

you're making a couple of mistakes. first of all, your total pg and vg count is a sum of all your ingredients. e.g. if your nic and flavors are pg based then you'd subtract those amount from total pg volume. for your hypothetical recipe at 100ml you start with 70ml of vg and 30ml of pg. we're going to assume that your nic and flavors are pg so you'd come out like this...

• nic for 3ml/mg from 25ml/mg = 12ml
• flavor @ 10% = 10ml

since those are both carried in PG you'd subtract those from your PG amount so 30ml - 12ml - 10ml = 8ml pg remaining

so your recipe would look like this

• nic - 12ml
• flavors - 10ml
• additional pg - 8ml
• VG - 70ml

i'm not sure why you're subtracting the 6ml of nic from your vg total instead of your pg. to answer your final question, you're going to need additional pg if the only pg you have comes from your nic and your flavors. if you add more pg in the form of your nic... you'll be adding more nic. with your calculations you'd end up with 6mg/ml instead of your target 3mg/ml.

In regards to your cream and recipe question, my suggestion is to choose flavors based on recipes. Not the other way around. It's much easier that way and you won't end up with crappy flavors you will never use.

Normally I wouldn't suggest a kit but Nicotine River has a pretty customizable one here that might suit your needs. It would also a leave a lot of room in your budget to order more flavors. As /u/EdibleMalfunction suggested, those flavors should be chosen from recipes that are highly rated and look appealing to you.

I can help you with one of those - TFA Coconut Candy + FA Jamaican Rum - tastes like a darker version of Malibu. Depending on what else you're mixing those with (such as cranberry, probably), that darkness can be mitigated. Also, since you're trying to emulate peach schnapps, you might be able to leave out the FA Jamaican and just have whatever is turning the peach into schnapps provide the alcohol flavor. Definitely check out TFA Coconut Candy though; it tastes very close to the coconut flavor in Malibu.

If you want more menthol, increase the percentage of menthol.

You might be able to find VG and Lorann flavorings from walmart. Here's a list of Lorann flavors that are ok to vape.

Not a great chance you can make E-juice with just products from walmart, and even if you can it won't be very tasty. If your looking to buy your supply from a local brick and mortar store alot of vape shops carry vg and pg.

You should let everything dry so the alcohol has time to evaporate. I really doubt someone from DIYOD did that.

if all the answers that you've been given over the last couple of days haven't been sufficient i'm going to go out on a limb here and say there aren't any or you need to adjust your expectations.

You don't seem to really care or read the links you get as replies, so just do this: Buy Nova Vapes juices. They are cheap and really good, and they ship within the EU. When you've tried some of them out, order their concentrates (so you don't have to care about putting ingredients together), and buy vg and pg and nicotine from pink mule (the combined shipping should negate cheaper prices elsewhere). Then just mix those concentrates at whatever recommended percentages Nova Vapes gives. Because you really don't seem ready to start diy'ing.

You've just started vaping, and you're getting a mech (which you shouldn't at this stage, and I'm terrified for your sake), so you don't need to spend the time learning how to mix right now. Just do what I said above, and when you get tired (if ever) of the concentrates, come back and ask.
