Vanilla Popsicle with sweet corn wtf?!??!
submitted over 8 years ago by DemonicMixer

I'm just taking vacations in Thailand and today I came across a very weird but interesting flavor combination.it's apparently normal here to have vanilla popsicles with actual sweet corn in it.of course I had to try it and it's really good. First you got that creamy vanilla and suddenly you bite into a piece of corn.it's weird but awesome. Would be awesome to have this as a vape.the problem is though that I'm not aware of any flavorhouse who has sweet corn and secondly it would be quite difficult to achieve that texture or bite that the corn has.you would have to separate the cream base and the corn quite well and add something like maybe AP to achieve that crunch. Let me hear what you guys think

Boom it taste straight up like sweet corn, and it's actually really good.

The texture isn't there, so AP or something for the crunch will be needed.

It's a surprisingly good and incredibly accurate flavor. As I have free time I've been working on a southern corn bread. I think I need to try FA corn to see if it's less of a sweet corn flavor, that would really make it easier to work with .

Acytel Pyrazine. It gives a grainy corn-ish taste

Wouldn't that be a corn pudding taste/recipe? I didn't think I'd like it, but I tried it after my wife recommended it; didn't love it like she does, but it's not bad.

I guess it depends on what creams and custards your are combining it with.straight vbic, some meringue and vienna cream would be my first go for the cream base
