Green Tea and Cream (Simple, Subtle, but Tasty)
submitted over 8 years ago by Alextwillz

This recipe needs help. It's my first recipe. At first I wanted to make a matcha latte because it's my all time favorite drink. Matcha powder and cashew milk mixed together and poured over ice. Shit is so good. I did not have the proper ingredients to make this so I settled for a light, floral green tea mixed with cream. This is one of those subtle flavors that I vape when I get tired of in your face juices. I have been vaping lots of fruits and deserts lately, so I needed something that was just there, but not drowning me with flavor. This helps clear my palette because it's just so simple. I also mixed this in 3mg at around 80 VG/20 PG. It needs at least a day to steep in my opinion, but you may like it as a S&V. My honest opinion is it was kinda bland the first day, but you decide that for yourself. Here we go!

Concentrate|Percentage :--|:-- CAP Marshmallow|2% CAP Whipped Cream|3% FA Meringue| 0.2% FE Green Tea|1.2%

CAP Marhsmallow - This is for texture and a little cream. It's enough to give it a tasty flavor, but also a fluffy mouthfeel.

CAP Whipped Cream - I chose CAP Whipped Cream because it has a slight vanilla flavor to me and I know I like vanilla in my drink. It gives it a frothy feel, but brings out the main course cream in this mix. I had to give it 3% because any lower and it wouldn't be as noticeable and too high might give it that sour flavor.

FA Meringue - I say 0.2% but to be honest I only put 3 drops in it. I don't know for sure if it equals 0.2% or not. I don't own a scale yet, so I had to use a syringe. FA Meringue gives me a sugar flavor, but in such low percentages it doesn't give me sugar lips. I feel like this combined with CAP Marshmallow is the perfect amount of sweetener, but ya know everyone has different tastebuds.

FE Green Tea - This was obvious. It is the best green tea flavor and most people already have it due to the Green Tea Kit Kat recipe, which is actually one of my favorites. At 1.2% it gives you what it has to offer. It isn't too overpowering and the floral notes I get from it don't bother me because of my cream base.

End - I hope you guys like this as much as I do even though it isn't perfect. I just worked with what I had. At this point and with this many recipes, I know most people own these flavors and can make this today. I encourage you to tinker with this recipe and try to make it better. I think it has the potential to be amazing and with the right touch, it will get there. Please let me know what you honestly think. If you think it sucks and it's the worst juice you've ever had, please share your opinions. Thank you for taking the time to read this and happy mixing!

Somewhat unrelated question... I have FE Green Tea because I've seen people rave about it but when I mix (and smell) it, it tastes like straight up flowers. Pretty flowers but flowers none the less. Does your bottle smell floral? I'm wondering if I got a bad batch or something because I've only seen one other person with a similar experience as mine and I really want a good Green tea flavoring. (Related, recipe looks nice... I would personally omit or lower the marshmallow but that's just me)

The bottle definitely has a floral scent. It's extremely pungent when I take the cap off the concentrate. It kinda smells like Jasmine mixed with honeysuckle to me. It don't taste those exact notes in a mix though. I hope you try this recipe though or even try to tweak it by dropping the CAP Marshmallow like you mentioned. The way I have my cream base set up makes it so where you don't get the overpowering floral flavor.

Yes! I definitely get that. Ok, so it's not just me. I will mix some up eventually and if you want, I can let you know how it comes out. If you're looking for premade juice, Vaping Swag Green tastes like a Green Tea Frap from Starbucks.

Upvoted out of interest. One of my favorite drinks is a green tea bubble tea from my local Thai place.
