Hello DIY_ejuice, i been mixing for about 6 months now and never going back to buying "premium" 25$/30ml juices.
At the start i copied custard/cakery recipes from e-liquid-recipes and it was a good starting point but i want to start making my own creation.
The recipes i got were old classics and well known recipe, most of them made up from TFA and CAP flavoring. I mostly want to make complex vanilla flavor, with custard or cake notes.
With many new flavor makers that came out in 2016, i want to know what's your favorite Vanilla, cakery, custards and the like from the newer products. I'm familiar with Cap V1/V2 and TFA Cust but i wanted to know what you guys have tried in the Vanilla realm.
Going to pass a big order soon, and i'd like to get as many 15mls to do test runs with and want to know what's hot and what's not worth bothering with.
Thanks and mix on!
This is a little off topic but have you tried /u/Botboy141's Vicious Vanilla? It might help point you in the right direction.
It's really rich with flavor and sweet. It was just a tad too sweet for me to be an ADV but the savory sweetness is addictive.
To answer your question FLV Cupcake Batter is probably one of my favorite "Vanillas" of the past year that I've tried. It's not really the most vanilla flavor out there but, to me, it gives off some vanilla notes along with it's batter flavor.
This might be old news to you, but INW Shisha Vanilla is special good!
DIYFS Holy Vanilla is my favorite vanilla by far. In fact, it's so good that I'm so diligent when using it because I don't want any to go to waste. It's probably the only flavor that I'd be absolutely upset if I ran out of it. I'm sure /u/tranceinate could convince you to pick this up better than I ever could.
Here and here are some reviews of it.
Holy Vanilla caused me to not care about anything else for like 3 months. I start getting the shakes when my supply drops under 60ml.

I leave out the Catalan and Cinnamon, and bump the Swirl up to 4%. Scratches that vanilla itch.
Edit: oops, just saw that /u/chewymidget already suggested VV. Oh well, I'll leave the link anyway...
Add a touch of FA Oba Oba to your vanilla mix (like 1%). It does wonders.
CAP French Vanilla V2, way way way better then V1. Steeps quicker. Has a more real taste, doesn't taste butyric in the slightest.
Made the mistake of being peer pressured into replacing my V2 with V1 without having any V2 at all and I was stuck with some rough juices for a bit. Had to make an emergency order.
I'm liking Inw custard so far. Very creamy/eggy sort if custard. Currently steeping something with it.
How is it different from Cap's?
to me, cap vc1 has a kind of soft floating lemonness to it. sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. INW is just like straight custard with vanilla notes.
